I wish I could give no stars. They called me three days before my move and asked me to change my date. When I told them I am supposed to leave town before the day they wanted me to move, I got major attitude from the dispatcher, who's name I still couldn't get. I asked to speak with the woman who booked my move to find out why on earth I was being asked to move my date when I scheduled so far in advance. Her name is Brandi Fairbanks (yes, that's seriously her name) yelled at me, then hung up. I asked to speak with the owner and was told he is never there and that the office manager is as high up as I needed to speak with. She ALSO was incredibly rude to me. As this was three days before my move and they told I absolutely could NOT have my deposit back. I am exhausted and stressed from preparing for a move from California to New Jersey so I just said whatever and moved on. A few minutes later Fara (the office manager) called and CANCELLED the move! I spoke with nothing but unprofessional people all day today, I think the owner needs to be in more so he can see that his company is being run by awful, cranky, people. It seems like I dodged a bullet, they promised me they could have my stuff delivered during a 4 day window of my arrival to my new house and the rest of the bad reviews (which I unfortunately ignored) say that they promised similar things and didn't do it, at least my head ache came when I still had furniture to sit on. I may be paying slightly more for the moving company I just booked AT LAST MINUTE, but they seem way more professional and capable of running a business. I'll log back on this review and update if they are good- that way instead of using this company you can use one that isn't so lame.

In the summer of 2018, I moved from California to Missouri. The month before I was to move, I signed a contract with New Planet Moving CO to move all my belongings. Traccy Hill, moving company representative e-mailed with an estimate and assured that everything would go smoothly. When the moving truck arrived, the driver started arguing with me that he does not agree with the estimate given and will not start loading unless I agree to increase my payment by almost $3,000. I tried to contact the office, but nobody was available at the time. My local property was sold, and the new owner was to take possession of the evening of my move. The driver continued to argue with me for over 2 hours demanding more payment and would not begin to load until I agreed. I did not have a choice at this time and increased the fee by $500. This was just the beginning of my nightmare.
When the truck arrived in Missouri, a different driver opened the truck door, and I noticed that my things had been moved to different section – at the end of the truck - and on the top of everything there was a huge motorcycle on top of my belongings (The motorcycle did not belong to me). I have a witness to prove all this. It was hard to tell which furniture and items were damaged until the driver started unloading them. My desk was broken in half, the couch had missing pieces, and the 80” inch TV was cracked when I powered it on.
I filed a claim with New Planet Moving Insurance and over a year later I received a payment of $186.00, which was to take care of my frustration estimated damage of over $5,000.
This was by far the worst moving experience I have ever had and will never use New Planet Moving again, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone to use.

I would like to take this time to inform you of how happy we were with your moving company. Your workers arrived at my house in Las Vegas on time and ready to work. I was amazed at how fast they were able to pack up all my belongings. The delivery of my possessions to Los Alamitos, Ca was also done on time. All of my belongings were in perfect condition. My mother and I are extremely satisfied with the service of your company and would definitely recommend to others. We also appreciated the follow up call that you gave us 2 days after the move.

I used New Planet Moving recently and I can honestly say that it was the best moving experience of my life. The whole process started by Moshi coming over and providing me a very competitive Flat Rate quote for our move from a one story 4500 sqft home to a 2 story 3600 sqft rental home. That alone was wonderful because most other moving companies only agreed to provide me an hourly rate quote with an estimated number of hours with no "Not to Exceed" guarantee. On Saturday, Moshi and his crew of 4 very polite, hardworking and cordial young men showed up on time and did an excellent job packing my furniture and loading it onto their trucks and then unloading and placing and reassembling the furniture at the place I requested. All furniture made it perfectly through the move without a scratch. I am planning to use them again in 12 months when we move from our rental home to our new house.

I have now used New Planet twice to move and they never disappoint. When you submit a request they always call back very quickly to get you scheduled! The guys that helped me last time and this time were super professional, quick, and efficient. Nothing was broken/damaged even with my not so great packing skills! Thanks to Mike, Moshi and Alex you guys were awesome

This company was absolutely a nightmare to work with. The moving date was continually pushed back. We were told the street was possibly too narrow for their truck and that we would need to rent a U-Haul to move our stuff onto and they would no longer be responsible for it. They lost one of our checks, which amounted to close to a thousand dollars. (Note: This was an error on their bookkeeping staff's part; our bank verified their deposit of the check.) Poor customer service and poor quality for the price. In general, I would never use this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Also, many of our items were broken. I would be less peeved if I hadn't watched the movers literally throw our boxes around. The claims department was terrible to work with. They asked my wife to not post poor reviews. I, however, did not agree to that. There would most certainly be more bad reviews if the claims company did not use scare tactics to keep people quiet.

This is a great company to work with! Lauren did a great job on my estimate and getting that accurate, and the guys were great as well. They were on time, started immediately when they arrived, they were very careful with my belongings, and the stacking inside the truck seemed to be a huge puzzle they pieced together quickly and amazingly! Great teamwork, no arguments, just total professionalism! Very impressive! Thank you to everyone on that team!

They arrived on time, started right away, and were careful with my items. Took less time than I thought it would take, they worked quickly and easily. They have my recommendation. The best moving experience. The first time we paid less than the estimate. Professional, on time, and reinstalled everything easily. Highly recommend New Planet Moving & Storage!!!

Watched the employees dump trash on the side of the road and drive away. I called the support number on the side of the truck to report it but nobody picked up. I called multiple times over 2 business days and never heard a response. Beyond disgusting behavior would never use this company 👎

On April 15, 2026 around 11:30 AM, I was driving on Allen near the corner of Craig when I encountered a landscaping crew from BrightView Landscapes.

There was only a single cone placed far ahead in the roadway and no clear signage indicating workers were actively near the area I was approaching. I was still a significant distance away when an employee suddenly stepped out from the sidewalk/bush area into the road and threw an object at my vehicle. At the time, I had no idea what was thrown and it came across as aggressive and unsafe. I later realized it appeared to be the worker’s hat.

Regardless of intent, stepping into traffic unexpectedly and throwing anything at a moving vehicle is dangerous and unacceptable. Proper traffic control, clear signage, and professional conduct should be standard, especially on active roadways.

I hope this is addressed internally so future situations are handled in a safer and more professional manner.

This is a horrible landscaping service and company. A previous HOA board contracted with them years back.

WE JUST FIRED THEM! AS IN, THE WHOLE COMMUNITY WERE APPALLED AND REPLACED THE PREVIOUS HOA BOARD MEMBERS. Read and reviewed all the vendor contracts, as maintenance fees skyrocketed and found out what we were receiving in contracted services.

They allowed them to slowly become lazier and lazier and not do what they were originally contracted to do. Maintain plants, scrubs, tree branches, limbs, remove tree debris that had fallen and clear walking paths of debris. For an exorbitant ala carte pricing, compared to what we contracted for with our new vender. Everything is industry standard pricing.

They just concentrated on the small park and pool areas, entryway to building units. And that was a joke to witness and listen to. Their employees spent 15-20 minutes hovering to blow out what small tree or bush debris that fell off and settled deep in the low maintenance rock landscape. 6:30 am -8:30 leaf blowing blaring to get every last small amount of debris along the pathway, while fallen branches were left for months and even year without cleanup.
The walking paths in between houses and street green debris would just buildup and settle in for long periods of time.
Limbs and branches would get so low along the walking pathways that you would have to walk off the cemented path and walk around on the uneven rock landscape to get around it. Or do the limbo to walk underneath it.
Broken waterlines that fed no plants or trees and just spewed a fenceline or empty paths.
But their employees were vigilant in standing and blowing every last blasphemous speck of green waste, as long as it took!
Avoiding strenuous bending except when finally sweeping up the leaf blown pile into the street from the unit entryway.
Whatever they used on the park lawn, it usually brought up all the worms the next day afterwards, hundreds and hundreds of dead and dried up along the cement walking paths surrounding and through the park. Worms are underground for a reason, they help break down the soil for a healthier lawn above.
Their small 5-6 man crews hovered around the park area, while a few scattered into nearby entryway to leaf blow to their hearts content. And then quickly move to other entryway to other building units.
    Twice a month they came.

I'm telling you, BrighView Landscaping is tough on grime! With a 1 strike policy in cleaning up entryway grime!
Meanwhile, the overgrown greenery of scrubs, plants, tree branches and limbs were allowed to rampage their assault and attack walkways unchecked. Like the vagrants and undesirables that they all are... I can understand why the employees hired, avoided those scary landscaped areas. Those were the, to be drive by areas of our complex. Avoid using tree and hedge cutters, along with bending over to gather fallen branches, dead dried up plants, and fix small broken water line fixtures at ALL COSTS!

Or charge extra for these things, that should be under the general term, landscaping maintenance.
If you make us break a sweat, YOU WILL PAY DEARLY FOR IT!
BrightView should consider changing their name to BlightView.
    Their new motto/catchphrase could be:
We do all the heavy lifting of the leaf blower, so you don't have to!
Or, BlightView, our Mission is to drive down EVERY home property value!
    BlightView Landscaping!
    What a scam outfit!
    BLIGHTVIEW, FOR THE LOSS!!
