Constraction reviews in Reno, Nevada

We had the pleasure of working with Joe Pace and his crew on our build-out of Rum Sugar Lime - a cocktail bar in Midtown, Reno. His team is outstanding and work hard to meet expectations and deadlines. If you have an opportunity to work with this great construction company - do it and you'll be happy you chose Joe Pace Construction.

I have built 6 businesses with Joe Pace Construction over the last 20 years. Joe is very organized, responsive and fully understands the big picture of a project while scheduling and coordinating all of the different trades. He has great relationships with sub contractors and I feel that I am always getting a complete team to build my store with those sub contractors. Joe recently finished the relocation of my Cold Stone Creamery in Reno Public Market and I invite you to come and take a look. Feel free to contact me if you would like a tour or to talk about the work Joe does.

As an electrical contractor (Solup Solar), we value partnerships with companies that share our customer-first philosophy and Pace Contractors exemplifies that standard. From our initial meeting through the final touches of our office remodel and landscaping, their professionalism was unmatched. The entire team maintained clear communication, coordinated seamlessly with the city and our engineers, and delivered the project on time and on budget. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Pace Contractors to anyone seeking quality workmanship and integrity throughout the construction process.

Joe Pace Construction built our Dairy Queen on Wedge Pkwy in South Reno. Our experience with Joe and his team was successful and on time. Joe and his team were consistent in their professionalism, craftsmanship and honesty. Joe’s vast experience in construction management made a significant contribution to the overall success of our Dairy Queen built-out from ground-up. Joe’s ability to manage tight deadlines, navigate complex problems and stay within the budget while keeping us stakeholders informed and on time was invaluable.
Joe’s open mindedness and willingness to listen to, and adapt to changing circumstances made him a valuable asset. In addition to Joe’s technical abilities, he displayed exceptional problem solving skills. He approaches challenges with a positive attitude and constantly provides creative solutions.
Given Joe’s track record of outstanding performance and his success with us, I am confident Joe Pace Construction would bring the same level of commitment and expertise to any project.

Adrian and his team are completely incompetent. Seek other more qualified folks else where

Adrian and his team were prompt, honest, and cleaned up after themselves. From the initial appointment for a quote through to the day the job was done, everything was easy and affordable. No nonsense. I highly recommend Buyten Electric and will definitely use them again!

Adrian has done work in my home and business. He is an “artist” at his craft, exhibited especially by his insistence that what is behind the wall is neat and clean - zero tangled wires. I appreciate the advice he gave and care he took to make sure everything was done right with safety in mind. He finished quickly and on budget. Thanks, Adrian!

I am so glad I stumbled upon Adrian to do my electrical work! He was very thorough, easy to work with, and great at explaining everything to me as he did his job. I would recommend Adrian and his company to anyone, as I know how hard it can be to find good quality work these days. Thank you again Adrian!

Hiring Adrian to do the electrical on our commercial space was the best contractor experience we've have ever had. His passion and knowledge on anything electrical (and beyond) sets him a part from everyone else. He works quickly and to perfection - all while being competitively priced.

Our general contractor even tried to hire him on the spot for other jobs after seeing his work for the first time!

We're not the only success story we've heard about Adrian and Buyten Electric.

Highly recommended.

I went into a 7-11 near my workplace to grab a drink. I came out to find my car dead dead dead again. I had taken my car to my
Mechanic for a get ready for summer road trips check up. The very next day my car was dead dead dead. My mechanic came to me to check on it. Wriggled the connector on the battery, tightened a screw and told me I was good to go. Except the very next day I found myself at that 7-11 and Adrian pulls in and asks if he could help. I told him about my recent history. He offered to look into a few things. Not only is he an electrician, but an auto enthusiast. Within 5 minutes he found the cause of the problem - a frayed wire leading to the fuse box. He cut that wire. Grounded it. And bingo - all better. And I haven’t had a moment of trouble since! Adrian was so kind and wouldn’t take anything for his time. I have his card and will use him in the future for any electrical needs. I have also shared his info with friends and co- workers. Little aside- he had 3 dogs in his truck - one of which he rescued from a very abusive situation. A good man all around if which we need more of!! Peggy Hlatky.

Best Contractor I know in town! Definitely recommend this company!

Kip, Nico, Malosi & Damian took AMAZING care of us. The quality of work they did throughout the house is bar none! We had a bit of drama in the midst of our work. The guys were fantastic and worked with us completely! We actually have another job pending with them too, we liked them so much.

Great experience overall from start to finish. Extremely responsive, fair pricing, competent workers (that showed up for a full day, every day, even snow days!), quality work, no change orders, and completed our project on schedule. If you don’t have a great contractor that you trust, contact Kip Walker. Kip and his team know their stuff and do things the right way. He’s a guy that can responsibly take care of your house construction and most construction projects.

If you need a reminder that common sense isn’t so common anymore, go with Walker Construction.

Looking for chaos? You’ll love the “he said, she said” games you’ll play with this crew. Kip, the owner, is your guy if you want someone to shrug and say “you get what you paid for” after sending unprofessional workers he never supervised.

Bonus round: one of their employees made a side deal with my neighbor, threw their trash into my yard, and never came back to finish the job.

This is just a pissy Yelp review, not a formal BBB complaint, because I was leaving the state and Kip was quick to remind me they’d slap a lien on my house if I pushed back.

Pictures included, because words just don’t do it justice.
