Craig and his crew arrived and were the definition of professional. While I was stressed and desperate, Craig stayed completely calm. He knew immediately the utility company was wrong. He got on the phone with them while I was on the line, and his technical expertise was undeniable. In less than 30 seconds, he had them backing down and "fixing their issue."

The DC Electrical team was fantastic to work with. Very knowledgeable, great customer service and prices were really good. I was adding in a power station for my EV which required some changes to my panel. I was thinking about higher level work to be done but they showed me my requirement didn’t need as much work as I thought. Even though they be happy to do the work I first thought I needed they provided what I needed for cheaper cost. This was the second time I work with DC and both times they been amazing to work with. They will always be my first choice for electrical work for my home.

I had Craig and his team install and electric vehicle charger and I could not be happier with the service I received. From the very beginning Craig was communicative and attentive and even helped me pick out the right ev charger for my needs. They showed up next day on time and completed the work quickly and professionally. Highly recommended, will definitely be using again.

We had DCE install out In home tesla charger last year. Everything ran smoothly from scheduling to finished install. A year later our Tesla charger had an error code. Called DCE & they came right out to assist in finding the issue. Thankfully it was the tesla charging Unit itself. Craig & his team were very helpful in going out of their way to inspect the electric side & even help us brain storm what could be the issue. We got our new unit & was successfully installed by DCE. Thankful to have a wholesome company that shows care in the services they provide to our community. & Craig’s Tesa knowledge is deff a PLUS !

Best electrician in Reno. John can do anything you need. Hit him up for electric car charging stations or whatever else you need.

I had an appointment scheduled with Silver State to which they never showed. I have since called twice, the first call I left a message then a day later, the mailbox was full. Don't waste you r time as for they have no problem wasting yours for you.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible customer service. Had to call because a light was flickering and then went out and thought it was the ballast. The electrician changed the ballast,(was at the location for about 10 min at the most), it worked when he left but then started flickering again. We called them out and they had an appointment for the next day. No show, no call. Called today to have electrician go back out. They refused to send the electrician back out with charging me another $135.00 initial hour service fee. So basically to get my light fixed I have to pay the $135.00 plus parts for the first 10 min visit and then will have to pay the $135.00 again plus whatever else they find so that they actually fix the problem? No way! They should back up their work. Why am I paying for something that they didn't even fix! They are the electricians, not me. Just because I think it's a ballast doesn't mean I'm right! I was so shocked. The Manager Chris, who wouldn't give his last name is super rude and completely unreasonable!!!!!!!!

We had power outage on very cold night. Left a message for Silver State Electric to come and help. They came as soon as they had our message and provided professional service and our electricity was restored swiftly

So I put in an order for Silver State to come to my rental an switch out the wall plugs and switches. The electrician had shown up three days later and no call telling me when he would arrive or what the issue was. When he did arrive he then told me he had to get parts at 125.00 per hour on my time, gone for almost two hours. At the end of the install he hands me bill for 2767.00 with a miscellaneous charge of 50.00 bucks and when I asked what that was for he said ‘gas’ but I was thinking 2767.00 should have gas figured. Hmmm. And don’t talk to John unless you absolutely have to because he will stop working and keep on talking (on your dime of course) till the cows come home. Never again will I EVER use Silver State again and nor should you.

The guys at Silver State are amazing. They are pros through and through. They gave me a bid more reasonable and quicker than other companies I had contacted, I needed the work done fast, and they were able to schedule the disconnect, get the permits, and start within 1 weeks’ time from when I first called. I had an old fuse panel from 1964 that was well overdue for an upgrade. They ran into several code issues during the work and stayed late to do the job the right way when they could have just as easily overlooked them and rushed the job. That is integrity. I am so grateful. These guys take pride in their work and were very friendly and down-to- earth, and happily answered any questions I had. I would ignore those other reviews and definitely recommend Silver State Electric. Thanks, guys!

Spoke with the owner on Thursday 8/28, and we scheduled for Wednesday morning the following week. I called twice, but no answer. I texted, but again no response. Silver State Electric has wasted my valuable time.

Owner is a narrow minded, manchild, with a mentality better suited for a door to door fast talker, trying to sell pyramid schemes.

Outrageous bids about 50% more then competitors. Absolutely stunned by your costs for simple projects way to try to rip us off going to another company for a fraction of the cost. Shame on you.

We have used Merit Electric for several years at Costco 25 here in Reno Nevada for electrician service. They are always quick to respond and provide great service. They have also adjusted their schedules to do work when customers are not shopping and short notice. We like em'

Electrician was in our office replacing light fixtures. He was polite, considerate, professional. Would be happy to have Merit working in our office again.
