Colby came by to inspect, provide an estimate, and install a dedicated circuit for my water heater after it was installed.

He was clear in communication, within range of his estimate, and a couple days later when he installed the circuit and connected the water heater, the work was clean, up to code, and most importantly we had a functioning hot water heater.

Hooray for hot showers! Thank you Colby and select electric! This is our electrician from now on.

Mother's electricity went out on 100 year-old house and she called a company to come look at it. Some things worked, but most didn't. They spent several hours for two days, could not figure out why, and said they would bring their boss back. They never came back, and two weeks and numerous calls later, no one returned my mom's call nor showed back up. She will not let me name the company because that's how she rolls. I called AJ Electric and Andrew showed up. He spent three hours tracing lines, checking outlets, and crawling in tight spaces. He was an extremely personable, knowledgeable, and upstanding young man. He was not to be denied. He found the issue up in the attic behind the walls and fixed it. I was stunned, and my mom was so happy and extremely grateful. I will never use any other electrician.

Drew did a great job and he's not your typical sparky. He's professional, kind, punctual, pays attention to details and leaves the work area clean. Other than a job well done, its hard to tell he was ever here!

For reliability I do not recommend AJ Electric. He has done good work for us with small projects in the past, but he backed out of a job with no notice and no justifiable reason. It was for a major kitchen remodel, so would have set us back at least a month and cost us thousands of dollars. Thankfully we found a reliable electrician for far less money and successfully completed the project.

I am a local Reno area realtor. I contacted Craig with DC Electrical to provide a quote of repairs following a home inspection for a client. My client was on a short deadline to obtain the information. Craig was incredibly responsive, allowing my client and I to meet our contract deadline. This was so appreciated!

Several outlets went out while cooking dinner the other night, and resetting the breaker wasn’t working. We called D C Electrical this morning and they were in our home within an hour or so.

The issue ended up being a combination of using too many appliances on an old circuit and a bad breaker. They replaced the breaker within a few minutes and also took a look at our bathroom outlets, which hadn’t worked since we bought our home in late 2018. All outlets in our are currently working, and we weren’t charged nearly as much as we anticipated! Thank you for getting the job done so quickly and providing awesome service!

Called to see how much it would cost me to get an electrician out soon to fix a circuit breaker. He was very booked and wouldn't be able to come for a week so went ahead and gave me really good advice on fixing it myself because it's a simple fix. Walked me through exactly what I need to do and I was able to fix the problem in 20 minutes (including the time to run to the store for the part) for $12.66 compared to $365 minimum that another electric company quoted me to come out today. I will use this company for all future needs and reccomend to everyone!

DC Electrical did a great job installing a new kitchen ceiling light for us. They were right on time, prompt, cleaned up the mess, and they saved me almost $50 (based on a quote from a different electrical company). The light looks great! Thanks, DC!
