Alfredo and his team were very quick to respond to our message and get out to our house to give us a quote over the weekend. Alfredo was very personable and listened to what we wanted. The team installed pavers and installed our lawn, which tied our backyard together perfectly! They were very respectful in regards to always giving us a heads up when he was coming, they never showed up unannounced or by surprise. We had Noe of Longhorn Landscape do our complete backyard renovation including removal of old cement and landscaping. They installed a new cement patio, raised planter bed, sprinklers and sod. Our new backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed working with them.

I can't stop recommending Longhorn to anyone who will listen to me. I started my backyard remodel project with a general idea of what I wanted to accomplish - we needed to level the yard, replace and extend a caved in patio, build a retaining wall, remove rock and dirt and replace it with grass, and build benches around trees. Like most people do with major projects, I had a few companies come out to discuss and provide quotes.

I was generally underwhelmed and started to think about delaying the project until we met Alfredo. Not only did he listen to my ideas and talk about how to accomplish them, but he came up with additional ideas that were even better suited to our ultimate goal of a family-friendly yard. And then he patiently explained material options so we could make a project that fit within our budget.

When it was time to start construction, Tito led an amazing team. They were incredibly professional, and so accommodating to my requests for project tweaks and attention to small details. I really feel like we were given the all-star team. They took their time, and did beautiful work.

My small family now has an incredible backyard to grow and play in. I'm so glad we didn't rush this project, and I can't thank Alfredo and his team enough.

Found a minor leak in our sprinklers last month, Alfredo responded to my text immediately and they were at our house two days later taking care of it.

I had some other questions about the system this month and they came back out again to inspect and adjust sprinkler timing.

All this, and we cut the final check for our backyard project back in February.

Longhorn and Alfredo's crew, did a backyard hardscaping make-over of our South Reno home. After evaluating several other bids, we were confident that Alfredo had a unique eye for designs that work, and coordinated other contractors such as granite BBQ island fabricator and electrician and plumber for natural gas, plus we collaborated on a unique pedestal for the BBQ island and water feature from Creative Gardens. Longhorn receives my highest recommendation. Clean, efficient, and again, a great eye for design.

While in hindsight I wish there had been more discussion about the design and details prior to starting (xxx has to happen but may result in xxx) - at the end of the project, I got what I wanted and the work is very well done. Alfredo was very receptive to my questions and concerns. Obstacles always come up with construction, and Alfredo and his team handled everything with grace and understanding. The crew was polite and respectful. Even if things had to be redone - they were done, and done well. My new fences, pavers, steps, sod, lights, and fire pit all look incredible and I am excited to finally have a beautiful backyard. I would hire them again.

We have had a wonderful experience working with Longhorn Landscaping! The owner Alfredo, was nothing but pleasant to work with. We were pleased through the entire process, from start to finish. One thing my husband and I extremely appreciated was that our budget was respected and stuck to. As with all construction projects, there were a few things that came up, but Alfredo and his team handled them all well and efficiently. Alfredo’s team are all extremely skilled and were so respectful over the weeks they were at our house. We have been nothing but thrilled with our landscaping and have been getting such great use out of everything. We will absolutely return to Longhorn Landscaping for any future needs, and will continue to refer them to anyone we know in need of landscaping.

If I could give six stars I would. We had a great experience with Longhorn. Alfredo was wonderful to work with. He had so many ideas, and with his many years of experience, helped us with fantastic backyard we are very happy with. It is my favorite part of the house. We made some changes from the original design and Alfredo was always consultative and accommodating. He and his crew have a great attitude and are a pleasure to work with. They showed up as promised and came fairly close to the timeline even with our additions. I can’t recommend Longhorn enough. You won’t be disappointed!
