Matt and Kevin did good work on my furnace and a ductwork repair and the bill was very reasonable. Definitely would recommend them for any HVAC work.

Happy Heating and Matt are the best. Matt thoroughly inspected my heating concerns for performance. He then explained some shortcuts the original installer’s took that could be fixed. However, he said those repairs would not be impactful enough to justify the cost so just better to wait until replaced. He then fully explained the type of heater installed that uses water. (???) His recommendation was just to perform a service of vacuuming out the system and cleaning out the screen. Only $150! Matt also answered my questions on possible longevity and a Home Warranty. I asked him why in a recent past experience for a very small repair to my A/C unit the technician recommended I consider replacing my A/C unit at a cost of $15k, $20k or $25k. He stated they were trying to upsell. I further asked him why so much to replace an A/C unit. He just kinda smiled. So I asked him how much to replace my A/C unit for my 1500 sqft home and he said less than $10k. Honest, professional and patient. Rare in this day and age. Cannot recommend them high enough.

We needed an AC unit, Matt was quick to come out and give a quote on a holiday week. The crew that installed was great. It was anticipated to be a 2 day installation but the crew worked fast and efficiently to make sure we had an operating system that first day. I highly recommend this company for all your heating and cooling systems.

Been in Reno for to years now and finally found a great HVAC company. Dan the service man preformed the most thorough furnace inspection I ever seen I had another company tell me I needed a new induction fan last year for $800 and suggested I replace the whole unit. I didn’t believe them because they were too eager to upscale me a new system and Dan checked it out and everything was working normal. I great to do business with a honest company and I’ll be a Happy customer for a long time

It was a pleasure doing business with Happy Heating and Air Conditioning from the initial phone call to the completion of the work. With any Skilled Service if you find the right folks you keep them. Whether it's a plumber, a mechanic or a HVAC Company & employees. These folks are excellent. I had a failing Air Conditioning / Heating system and needed a new system pronto as the resident was especially vulnerable to upcoming imminent Hot days of summer. Owner Matt addressed my concerns and suggested the proper models with OUT over selling. He was able to arrange an installation as soon as possible. He said his people would do the best they could to finish the install as soon as possible. He didn't over promise but his Techs over performed. Also, Matt and the Technicians (Dan & Lorenzo) discovered the original Heating Unit was way over specs. They notified me and gave me the choice of more appropriate units saving me money in both the short and long run while getting a best fit unit. Technicians (Dan & Lorenzo) did an excellent job working with speed but with deliberate care to do the job right! Let's just say they completed the job much sooner than I could have hoped. Outstanding Job Matt, Dan, Lorenzo outstanding!

We had a great experience with Happy Heating and Air Conditioning! Our AC went out during some of the hottest temperatures I’ve seen in a long time, and Matt and his team were able to give me an estimate and answer all of my questions very promptly. They also had some of the best prices in town! After signing the contract, they said it could take about two weeks for install, but they were able to get us installed after only one week, which we were so grateful for! His team showed up exactly on time, the day of install, and were extremely professional and got the job done quickly! We definitely recommend Happy Heating and Air!

As luck would have it, the ac decided to just blow hot air late yesterday and all night...(my dogs were miserable).. the thermostat was set to 78 but was registering 81...

Started researching…

I would rather stay with the smaller business, and this one stood out.

Called, and got a live person!

The installation crews’ team work was impressive. The whole process was well planned and well executed. Each member of the team, Lorenzo, Dan and Kevin were hard workers and very pleasant people.

They completed replacing my old furnace, air conditioner and water heater with a brand new dual-fuel heating system (heat pump) and water heater within one week of the contract signature.

We are now ready for winter and I am very happy. Thank you Matt, Lorenzo, Dan and Kevin!

Matt was on time, professional, quick and efficient. And, when he found the simple issue, he was honest, showed us and fixed it. Reasonably.

Happy installed a new gas furnace and central AC in March of 2021.
I waited until now; to make sure the AC worked in summer heat, to make my review.
Both the AC and furnace work fine.
However, the furnace has a very noticeable tilt to one side. The base on which it sets is level.
Also, they had to come back to properly strap down the gas supply line.

Had my furnace and air conditioner serviced by Happy Heating and Air and they did an awesome job! Super friendly, on time, and explained everything clearly. My system runs great now—highly recommend them!

I have been using Happy Heating and AC for several years now, and I have always been impressed with Matt and his team. Whether for routine service or for a repair, they are incredibly responsive and professional. My calls are returned promptly and they are focused on providing the best in terms of service. The technicians are excellent, and are consistently friendly and informative. They have earned my complete trust. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for home HVAC service.

I normally don't give anything a 5 star. Why did I for them. Customer service. In a day where that seems to be going away they did great. I think they did more than they needed. They were accommodating to what ever I needed, and the tech were always respectful of the house.

Any issue I asked about they gave me an answer, and they didn't make anything up. They checked on a couple of things to make sure I was getting the correct information.

On their own they found a gap between the house and vent tubes, about 1 inch seperation and fixed that. No more heating the crawl space.

On a side note when they originally did the quote they made a mistake to their side. Matt called me and let me know the mistake before they even started and saved me money. If he had not called I would have paid more. How many companies have the integrity to call out their own mistake and saves the customer money? Not many.

Here are before and after. Also once they had removed the insulation the duct work under was not good. They rebuilt it by hand and sealed it. So much better.

We’ve had Happy to our house a couple of times to conduct HVAC preventative maintenance. Always professional, wore booties on our hardwood, and did their work diligently. And at fair prices given we have dual furnaces and AC units. Highly recommend.

We cannot say enough about Matt and his team. It's been since July now since they installed a new AC unit. We had never had central AC. Only central heat. I thought a mini-split would be our best, most affordable option. While the AC unit ended up costing more, it was the most affordable over time. And we are so happy with Happy for pointing out the benefits and downfalls. Even at the peak of their business, they took the time to work with us and then get us scheduled quickly. Install day went smooth and as expected. Actually, they went above and beyond. It's been 2 solid months and no issues. I wouldn't want to give specific prices or perks as each job is different. But you will not be disappointed with their service, prices and professionalism. Wouldn't use anyone else now. Thanks Happy Heating and Air!
