I had Desert Air perform a trenchless sewer line pipe bursting replacement on my 70 year old disintegrating sewer line. I shopped many estimates for the job and Desert air got the bid based on good recommendations, reviews, price, and customer service. After Daniel came out for the initial estimate, i still had questions and concerns being a large, pricey project. So the owner, Spencer, came out to my house and answered all my questions in a very honest and friendly manner before I agreed to the bid. I very much appreciated Spencer's candor having dealt with other companies that give a very predatory vibe that will try and squeeze as much cash out of you as possible. Not the case here.

The job itself took 4 days right on pace with the estimate of 3-4 days. The 2 main workers at my house, Daniel and Martin, were very friendly and worked in a clean and professional manner. Daniel was able to answer questions I had during the job and quickly problem solved a possible issue of a water main pipe being in the way of the repair. After the job was done they did an excellent job returning my front yard to it's previous state. and the job price came in the same price as the estimate. I will definitely use and recommend Desert Air in the future.

Matt gave a very professional and thourough inspection of HVAC equipement. Explained in detail the issues and best practices given the age of the equipment. Thank you for the excellent service!

Price was 150/ unit (so 300 total). I called around town to compare prices. Not many offer inspections. This seems to be the going rate and it was definitely value for the money. In my view, price is not a reason to give a bad review so I give them 5 stars based on excellent service.

Amazing service. Greg was incredible. He not only fixed the issues, but explained everything he was doing and suggested steps in the future. And they are willing to travel further out than other companies. In all honesty, there is an additional fee for those outside of the city proper, but I wouldn't expect different. Other companies were not even interested in coming out, so Desert Air automatically gained points there. Can't recommend enough.

We are tenants who have had temps reach over 80 degrees and over multiple times for 2 weeks.

I called to discuss the lack of action and effective maintenance asking to be transferred to someone whose paycheck includes dealing with irate customers. Laura declined and decided to address my criticisms.

Her reasons are:

We do not have the parts.

This is a mechanical problem and it's not a simple problem.

It's not our fault we are cleaning up someone else's mess.

Translation we can't do anything, be patient, there is no plan.

My wife's chronic pain was down to almost nothing before all this started. Thanks to the repeated schedule failures, part finding failures, the fallout is that she is in a full fibro and migraine flare. Even if the AC comes back it will take DAYS possibly over a WEEK for the flare to subside.

My furnace started working intermittently because the fan wouldn't turn on. They first said the motor needs to be replaced which didn't make sense to me. They instructed us to stick our hands inside the furnace and manually push the fan to get it started. This was dangerous. When they quoted me for a motor replacement, it was over $1300. When i looked up the motor online, the price was around $250. I asked them, they said they have to mark it up to $900! That's almost a 400% markup.... When I asked them about the price, they got defensive and rejected my findings of a lower price point.... They even tried to get me to spend over $11,000 because they claimed that the AC unit and the furnace are going bad. Both work fine.... We sent someone else in there and they quickly diagnosed the issue to be a faulty capacitor. No motor replacement needed. I am very disappointed with their dishonesty and find their practices to be predatory to charge people much more than what they actually need just so they can make more money. This business needs to be reported and audited.

They were fast reliable and respectful. I got a quote from another company that seemed outrageous and wasn't going to be able to fit us in before the winter for a new AC unit. We contacted Desert Air and had a quote and timeline that was much more reasonable. Payment has been easy and they were respectful when I had issues on my end. They got a whole brand new AC and furnace installed in a day and a half over the weekend which was greatly appreciated. They were respectful of my home and my time while they were here. I really appreciate their time and experience!!

Greg was so professional, knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it, then even went above and beyond for us by adding a copper conduit to the wire to prevent any further damage! I will be recommending Desert Air to everyone I know!

Edit : I also forgot to mention this, and it is key - this was an emergency fix! I had my new puppy destroy some low voltage wire on my ac unit outside, shut the entire system down. I called and they suddenly had an opening available and called me right back! Thank you Jillian for the call back and sending Greg! My house is perfectly cool now only a couple hours later 😊

My AC went out in the middle of the night. Desert Air was able to get me in the schedule the following morning to diagnose the issue. They ordered parts and got my AC back up and running quickly. Very professional and went the extra mile to complete the repair.

Would highly recommend.

My apartment complex uses this company. The a/c has been out for 2 weeks now. They were supposed to be out to fix it at the end of the first week. They didn't show. Apartment complex calls to find out why. "It fell through the cracks" with the installer from this -glorious- company. Apt complex calls again. The soonest they could get out was the next Friday. (04/28/2023) They send a new person out today, who didn't even know what they were supposed to be doing. Now they are claiming they 'dont have the parts'.

Ahmed from Desert Air has fixed both our air conditioning and heating, quickly diagnosing the issue and making needed upgrades. Great guy! Great company.

Rudy spent a considerable amount of time, trying to diagnose the problem of the PTAC unit leaking inside our sunroom.. I was fairly convinced it wasn’t rainwater getting in from the outside but something else. He determined that the unit was tipped forward instead of backward where the condensation would drain to the back. It seems to be working well now thank you

After describing my kitchen drain issue over the phone, Spencer listened carefully and immediately recognized that a standard snake wouldn’t reach the blockage in my second-story home. He made the call to use a Hydro Jetter instead and arranged for same-day service, which I truly appreciated.
Alex, the lead technician, and his assistant, Dave, arrived promptly and were outstanding. They explained each step, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood how to maintain the system going forward. Both showed excellent professionalism, great attitudes, and real pride in their work.
The Hydro Jetter took care of what my 25-foot snake couldn’t — clearing the line completely and restoring full flow. Desert Air once again delivered exceptional service from start to finish.

Came out the day I called. The tech, Kevin, was friendly and explained what he was doing. He got my heater back online and gave me good advice/info.
