Reviews of local pros in Concord, New Hampshire

It has been 2+ years (May 2016) since the ground install of my 28 panels. The installation went well with no real issues to speak of and the quality of work was good. All the permitting went smoothly and I was online and producing power as expected.
I have not had a bill for electricity since the installation. Did recently cut down the one remaining oak that cast a little shadow on the panels and the production has bumped up (I now have 1.2 MW in the bank so am feeling good).
Had one issue with one microinverter at about the 2 year mark and that was taken care of to my satisfaction (thanks Fuat!).
I would (and have) recommended Sundial Solar to others. -
Sundial installed a EV Charger, the crew that did the work was amazing. It was a cold day with plenty of snow on the ground and the wire run from the panel to the charger was challenging. They did a great job with some unexpected twists and turns.

Fuat and his installation team were very professional during the installation of our 31 panel, 12 kW rooftop array. After talking with 10 total solar installers at both the national, regional, and local level I knew what I wanted when I called Fuat. He was straightforward with me and gave me a good price. He was also communicative throughout the process and kept me informed on delays that were outside his control, like from the town or Eversource. Our system has been operational for 3 months no with no issues. Highly recommended!

The installation team was fantastic. The Tesla batteries were a game changer the first time we lost power. The system worked so well we didn’t even know we had lost power until the Tesla app on my phone notified me.
Sadly getting them scheduled to do the installation was a huge hassle. Appointment was cancelled multiple times. I kept changing my schedule to accommodate them and they would cancel at the last second. -
I was hugely disappointed that installers who were supposed to arrive between 10-2 arrived at 4 destroying my day. However I was totally pleased with the two installers and the work they did. The care and competence they showed was 5+. When you read this please understand I am in rural Vermont. Which makes appointment time difficult for companies. I just wish there was better communication and some form of apology.

Where to begin with this company. I was planning on letting this go, but since they just sent me an email soliciting a review, I suppose I should leave one.
We'll start with the only positive. The install team led by Ben Bell was great. Explained things well, showed up when he said he would, and did the work he said he would do. This is the only reason for the 2 star rating.
Everything else, a disaster. The communication out of this company is, frankly, terrible. There is a clear disconnect between the sales team, the office team, and the installers. No one talks to anyone. The project manager Javier is the most egregious offender. I was told many times, from multiple people, that he would call me to address the litany of issues that happened during install. Not once did I ever hear from this guy. Not once was I ever proactively kept informed on progress or solutions to problems.
When I brought my list of grievances to the president of the company, his response was 'thats kind of your fault' for half of my concerns, and 'well it got done eventually so we did great' for the rest, with a little bit of whataboutism concerning other companies not being as good as his own. I cannot believe he was ultimately satisfied with the way his company performed. And even if he was just pleased with how everything ended (he did get paid after all), just like, show some fake contrition anyway so people don't write negative reviews; this is business 101.
I was recommended this company originally, specifically because of their supposed stellar communication, but my experience has been the exact opposite. I have told many people already not to use this company, and if you are considering them, I would recommend finding a different company for your solar needs, as the very amateur level organization at Sundial leaves a lot to be desired.
This could have all been chalked up to an overworked staff trying to beat the tax credit buzzer...right up until the president defended all their actions. This shows me that it's a company culture problem, and not an individual issue. -
Nick from Sundial Solar was awesome! He showed up right on time, was super knowledgeable, and had my 80amp Ford Power Pro charger installed in under 2 hours. The whole experience felt easy and professional from start to finish. Big thanks to Sundial Solar and Q-Merit for making home EV charging a breeze!
And the best part? I didn’t pay a dime. Ford’s Power Promise covers the charger and installation completely free when you buy a new EV—like my Ford Lightning! It only took 2–3 weeks from my truck purchase to a fully installed charger. If you’re getting a Mustang Mach-E, Lightning, or E-Transit, make sure to ask about it! -
Need a boiler replacement? Contact high ground! Not only did they do the replacement in less than a day but they also came out a couple different times to insure everything was working properly. Very thorough and no messing around. Thank you Eddie!!

Absolutely amazing. Great guy. Polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Took time to explain everything to me.

Jesse, did a fantastic professional job! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful!! I recommend him highly and company. My husband and I are very pleased!

I cannot recommend Shawn Yule enough. From start to finish, he was incredibly informative, taking the time to walk me through every detail and answer all my questions without ever making me feel rushed.
What stood out most was his attentiveness—he truly listened to what I was looking for and offered thoughtful recommendations tailored to my needs. At the same time, he was consistently respectful, never pushy or aggressive, which made the whole process feel genuine and low-pressure. -
Zach is an excellent tech. The service is on our generator and he took no time finding the problem and resolving. As he has when we've had a few other issues. We highly recommend them for your generator needs.

This was a plumbing issue. Nick was on time, efficient and knew exactly what he was doing. I really appreciate his attention to detail as well. I am very pleased.

The technician that came was amazing and helpful. The only negative part of this encounter was the estimate for the repairs we would have needed, which seemed a bit high according to my research. The technician was good and ended up cutting us a break on refrigerant because although he filled the AC, it did not fix the issue. I found this to be satisfactory and a good show of discretion. I would recommend Derek as a technician based on his professionalism and responsiveness.

Joshua was absolutely the best. Personable, knowledgeable and and honest. Could not ask for a better experience. If I had my own company I would try to steal him from High Ground. Definitely an asset to your company!! Happy I used your service.

SCAM SCAM SCAM DONT GO THERE! They Rob you right to your face! They will tell you one price and then have you unload it so when you go back to collect, they tell you the price has changed. Then when you complain they tell you to go load back up if I want, Unbelievable, shut this place down!

I have been a loyal customer for three years. NO MORE. Recently my billing has been wrong and despite Casella's promises to correct it, it still is screwed up. Ok, I get things happen. But recently I needed a roll off dumpster to clean up some construction debris. I arranged the delivery a full week in advance. I had a crew on site the morning when the dumpster was to arrive. No dumpster. This is despite me arranging it a week in advance and making several follow up phone calls during the days leading up to the day of delivery to confirm. Nevertheless, Casella was a no show. I paid people by the hour to wait, and wait. When I called to find out what was going on no one could tell me when, or if it would arrive but, worse, they didn't care if one got there or not. Clearly our three year business relationship meant nothing to Casella, so, I have moved on to another vendor. I am sure Casella doesn't care. But beware, if you do business with them, they could not care less about doing business with you. You'll find that out when you really need them to come through for you. From my prospective, I rather do business with a company that at least acts like my business is important to them.

Be careful when you go. I've been twice now during posted hours and they've been closed. My wife just went (new year's eve) an hour before closing time and they were already closed. She called the Casella office to see what was going on and the dispatcher didn't have any record of them closing early. As far as she was concerned they were supposed to be open still. Multiple other cars had their blinker on to go in but had to turn around. I've heard from other people they go during the last 30 minutes of business hours and they already have the gate locked. It's hard enough to get there by 4:00 but especially when they close at random times.

I have never written a review on a company, good or bad, so this shows my level of frustration with Casella. By far, THE WORST service I have received from a company. New to the area, I arranged for them to take care of our trash removal. Because of the service area they would only service every other week. I didn’t think that was great, but I could make it work. EXCEPT, they just wouldn’t show up for pick up and then tell me they couldn’t come out for another two weeks! Out of 10 possible pick ups (before I finally had enough and cancelled) they successfully picked up our trash TWO times! What am I supposed to do with a months worth of trash?! It became VERY CLEAR that Casella doesn’t care about the small accounts. No communication, no follow up, no accountability (drivers would say they came but our cameras tell a different story), and no solutions. I would recommend them to NOBODY!

Was looking not dispose of a double bed. Mattress and boxspring, $90! Then with the side rails, small head and footboard… done by weight with a $25 minimum! Crooks!

Used to be a good place to take your trash. $10 minimum for a load of trash which was better than paying a ridiculous amount of money for Concords purple bags. That changed in an instant. July 1st the $10 minimum went to a whopping $25 minimum. What is wrong with you guys? Guess what, now the previously overpriced purple bags from Concord is suddenly a bargain. Good luck with your business moving forward. You’re gonna need it. We won’t be going there anymore and hopefully more people read this and stay away.
