From the first phone call when I spoke with Kevin I knew I would be pleased with the job. He came out to look at trees a few days later, and he was honest in his opinion and that's what I like. He knew of a family situation and made sure everything went smooth. His pricing was very fair and I appreciated that so much. They took 2 trees and stumps down within approximately 4 hrs, maybe less, and cleaned everything up. Very happy and will recommend them highly. Thank you Kevin for your professionalism and the kindness you showed for my mother. I'm sure I will be your customer again, in the future!

Removed an overgrown lilac bush. Came to chop the branches down then returned a couple days later to grind the roots and pull them up. Quick and good clean up after!

Price and Services were excellent. The crew were easy to work with and very efficient. They showed up very promptly and were very thorough in the clean up job, Not a branch was left! If I ever have a need to remove more trees they will be first on my list.

Kevin and his crew removed a number of tall pines from my backyard earlier this week. This was an excellent experience and I am glad and grateful that Gate City Tree performed this work…especially with the storm ahead this weekend. The work was completed safely and efficiently, price was very reasonable, all debris was cleaned up completely, and everyone was friendly and respectful. I hired Gate City Tree to remove 10 trees from my property. This was a very difficult job that required the use of a crane in order to safely remove the trees. Kevin did a great job of setting expectations during the estimate so I knew what to expect when they arrived. Kevin and his crew showed up on time and worked together like a well-oiled machine to quickly and safely remove the trees. They even did a great job cleaning up the yard after they were done! I am very pleased with the service I received and would hire Gate City again in a heartbeat!

Hired Gate City Tree to remove several trees and some tree pruning. It's not to often today that I can say it was a pleasure to do business with a company but Gate City gets 5 + stars from me and it truly was a pleasure!! I had Gate City Tree Service at my daughters house in Nashua today, doing some long overdue trimming. Kevin and the crew were great. The estimated time was 2 hours and the work took 2 hours. Even in the rain the crew was friendly and pleasant to deal with, stopped any time I had question to answer me, cleaned up everything after the job was done and even wished me a good weekend on their way out. AWESOME PEOPLE! VERY PROFESSIONAL!

I will not be getting multiple estimates next time I have any kind of tree work to be done, why bother these guys are great!

Kevin and his crew did a fantastic job. We had 5 very large trees to be taken down that were all close to our house. The task seemed impossible to us, but was no problem for them. They are very skilled with the cranes! They cleaned up their mess and made it look like there were no trees there to begin with. Their pricing was awesome and we are very happy with the work they did. Our backyard looks twice as large now!

A recent windstorm brought down the top forty or fifty feet of a a 28" diameter white pine, leaving another fifty feet of trunk. Having used them before, my first thought was to call Gate City Tree. Kevin was out here the day we called (Friday) and showed up with his crew on Monday.
They removed the tree fall and remaining trunk, cleaned up some of the branches that fell in our neighbor's yard, and took down two other trees that threatened the house, in addition to trimming some dead branches on yet another tree. I had no worries, not even when 30' of tree trunk was hovering over our house.
I was once again impressed with their professionalism and the care they took while working. They were fast, safe, efficient and the cleanup was excellent. Kevin and his crew are very friendly and a pleasure to work with. And all for a very reasonable price.

Kevin and his crew were fabulous. We hired them 14 years ago. Upon needing more trim work and dead-heading, we immediately thought of them. They do a contentious, professional job. They know exactly what they're doing, are friendly and understanding. They clean up after themselves and are definitely worthy of a five star review.

Gate City did an incredible job with our tree removal project. From my original quote request to bidding farewell after cleanup, everything went so easy and smooth. Kevin and his office staff are extremely responsive and fair. The labor crew consisted of a large group of gentlemen who worked like a well oiled machine. We can’t recommend Gate City highly enough!

We called Gate City Tree Service on Friday morning. Within the hour someone was out giving us an estimate, and then they showed up Saturday morning to get it all taken care of. They were awesome and even cut back a few branches of another tree that was hanging down! They were easy to work with, kind/respectful, and really awesome at what they do! Had five large pine trees removed requiring the use of a large crane. The crew wasted no time setting up and *carefully* hoisting the trees out of a tricky spot that required them to lift the trees over my house. All was handled professionally and the area was cleaned up like they were never even there. But, the best part was the stump grinding the week after where they removed not only the main stump but some very hefty exposed roots that went 5 feet in either direction. Very impressed! I almost forgot the best part -- the price! They offered a great price relative to the other quotes I received -- they made it easy to say yes.

I recently had Gate City Tree come out to my home for an estimate. The price was fair from the start. Kevin was very knowledgeable about in the trees in my yard and informed his team of exactly what I wanted done. Bobby and Jay, I think, arrived a few days later and did an excellent job. I had two trees cut down, one pruned, and the big one pictured below trimmed way back off of my garage and neighbors yard. They treated my home and my yard with the utmost care, as if they were working in their own yard. Clean up was spotless and they took care of everything I wanted (even a little more!) all in less than a days work. I would absolutely call these guys again, and would refer them to friends and family.

I used Gate City Tree to have a dead tree taken down and two trimmed a month ago. Kevin came out and gave me a quote beforehand. He didn't try to pressure me into doing more than I wanted which I appreciated! When I was ready to schedule, Kim was quick to respond to my emails and got us lined up to have the work done.

The day of the work the crew arrived promptly at 8 AM as promised and got right to work. It was in the middle of a heat wave but that didn't seem to bother them. They were friendly and professional throughout the process. The trees are all close to our home and power lines but there was not a minute where I felt nervous.

One of the trees that they trimmed had been butchered by Eversource last year. The crew at Gate City did a wonderful job fixing the bad trim job and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

When they were done they cleaned everything up beautifully. I swear they left my yard tidier than it was.

I'll be using them again in a few months to tackle a big tree and look forward to working with them again.
