Wanted to give a shout out and recognition to Happy Trees company from Bloomfield, NJ. They just finished a tree removal from our property and they were great to work with.

I used “ happy trees” to remove a Tree from my residential property as well as to trim a few of other overgrown trees. Marvin (the owner) was very professional in his approach from start to finish. The quoted price was very fair compared to competitors and the service was excellent. I will use Happy Trees services in the future and I highly recommend their services.

First of all, Marvin’s estimate was way lower than any of the other ones. I was really impressed by how well his team worked in removing the tree. My situation was a delicate one, as I was paying to have my neighbors tree removed from his property. The root system was damaging the rear wall of my garage causing a huge crack and it had to be removed. Happy trees showed up when they said they would with a huge crane, as the tree was probably 40 to 50 feet off the street. They were able to pluck that tree out of his yard in three sections, crane it into the street and dismantle it. They made it look easy. I highly recommend this company.

We had a great experience with Happy Trees. I called in the morning after seeing their crew working down the street and they were able to come up to my house, provide a very reasonable quote, and do the work on the same day. They lopped off a few feet from our Green Giants as well as trimmed and shaped a shrub at the front of the house. Marvin was a pleasure to work with and the crew was quick and tidy.

We recently used Happy Trees for a pine tree removal in our house. They were very responsive, excellent price and very easy to work with. The team was about 6 ppl and they were all working together and completing the job, finished in 2.5 hrs. They left everything spotless! Highly recommended.

Very, very happy with their work. Would recommend them to anyone. The owner Marvin is wonderful to work with, even came back twice after the initial estimate when we wanted to clarify and increase the scope. His office staff was also great to work with. They delivered their certificate of insurance the same day I asked. We hired Happy Trees to thin out two large trees in our rear yard and fully remove large bushes in front of our property. Their crew was efficient, thorough and very careful of our property. They used mats to protect my lawn, carefully tied up and lowered limbs gently to the ground. Before stepping on my neighbor’s property, the foreman asked me to call my neighbor for permission. When I asked them to remove one more limb, they did it without issue. Afterwards they raked and blew off the entire property, leaving it better when they left than when they arrived. After removing the bush stumps, they raked everything level. We had a utility running through the bushes and they were very careful, hand digging so as not to damage it. Thank you Happy Trees! - Keith

On 8/25/21 our Blue Spruce was butchered by this outfit, and an active nest of mourning doves also was completely destroyed, resulting in the deaths of two baby birds. This was in violation of a federal law, the Migratory Bird Act. I have attached a photo of the two baby birds which I personally found squashed on the ground next to their eggshells at the site, and a photo of the parent mourning dove retuning the next day to the mangled and hideously ugly tree. My son was crying over these manhandled birds and I will be contacting the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

What a treasure of a business, we absolutely love them and are happy to have found them. Very professional, reasonable and excellent workers. They have taken down several of our trees and made the process easy and seamless for us, taking care of permits, etc. the communication is wonderful and the entire experience just so pleasant that it restores my faith in businesses truly having pride in their work. It was such a pleasure working with Happy Trees. Like most people, I know next to nothing about tree care so it can be a bit anxiety provoking to pick a good tree care provider. Happy Trees and its owner, Marvin, took the stress out of the process. Marvin came and did an initial free estimate. He walked all around our backyard, then wrote a detailed description of services he would provide for each tree, and the total cost. We found it to be very reasonable so we scheduled the appointment. Marvin and his team came on time on the date we agreed on, and he and his team went right to work. It was actually amazing to see them do their thing. Despite the obvious challenges associated with taking down and pruning large branches high up from the ground, the Happy Trees team worked together like a well oiled machine, practicing accuracy, safety and efficiency. They were very well trained at their jobs.
Marvin was also a pleasure to speak with. I wholeheartedly recommend Happy Trees.

I want to thank all the crew at Happy Trees that came to my and my neighbor's rescure on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

A tree from my yard had fallen in my neighbor's yard, and had left two dead trees - one a stump - still standing, waiting to cause more destruction.

Once my neighbor had had the job inspected, she was told by Happy Trees that those trees on my property still needed to be removed from my property, as well as removing the tree that had fallen in my neighbor's yard

And as soon as I was made aware of the dangers, I contacted Happy Trees and was given an estimate, and contract to sign. Their price, as usual was very reasonable. They also agreed to get to us as soon as possible, hopefully the next morning - which they did.

In order to do that, they had to re-arrange their previous schedule with other customers. They also had to assemble a crew to get to our homes early, as another storm was coming.

I was truly amazed at the efficiency and speed that Gaudy made the arrangements. The crew came early the next morning, on time, and were very skillful and professional. And they were respectful and friendly, in every way.

They got the job done so quickly, and safely, and finished just as it started to rain. I was amazed.

It's also amazing to watch their crew work - they are truly a team that works like clock work. Everything was cleared away and cleaned up exactly as they promised, I was very happy with their work and relieved that another dangerous situation had been avoided.

I will definitely use them for other projects on my property.

We had a large mulberry tree with branches over our roof and it was dropping berries all over and making a mess. I got 3 quotes and happy trees came in about 25% less than the other two, plus they were able to come the next day! Marvin and his team did a wonderful job. They also cleaned up everything so nicely. I'm a repeat customer of Happy Trees, and I've always been pleased with their prompt and courteous service. I have used Happy Trees for tree removal and pruning and they have always done a great job at a reasonable price. Most recently, I requested a quote to have a lot of trees on my property pruned, including a large tree with dead branches overhanging my garage. Marvin, the owner of Happy Trees, visited my property on the same day I called, surveyed my property, and gave me a fair quote for the work. I was placed on their schedule, and less than a week later the company was on my property to complete the work. They worked fast, and while doing the job, the company identified a small tree on my property that was full of lantern fly babies and asked me if I wanted it removed. They removed it at no charge! I couldn't have been more pleased. Many of my neighbors also use Happy Trees for their tree maintenance needs. I can't recommend Happy Trees highly enough.

Happy Trees truck was parked in front of our house this morning waiting to do work at our neighbor’s. We discovered after they drove away that they had torn up the grass next to our sidewalkwhen they left. See photo showing damage. I’m so mad because I think this was intentional, and I’m considering making a report to the local authorities and the Township about this.

Happy trees, came and removed my neighbors large tree from his yard. I had nothing to do with this project at all but they massacred my fence and left without even reporting what they did. I have reported it to the company and I expect them to come tomorrow and tell me what they’re gonna do about it. If I do not hear back from them, I’m gonna call the township.

"HAPPY TREES BY MGM" first came to my attention when they were working in my neighborhood recently. As a result, I decided to contact the company to get an estimate for the long overdue tree and other property maintenance needed. Marvin came to my house, surveyed what had to be done, and prepared and submitted a detailed estimate with options to choose from. Pricing was fair and reasonable.

Approximately two weeks later, "HAPPY TREES BY MGM" arrived on schedule with a crew of seven workers consisting of a crane operator, tree climbers and ground workers who work in concert with the tree climbers and also provide speed processing of cuttings through the chipper.

I sat outside and watched the entire job as it was unfolding. All workers were polite and courteous throughout the project. The cleanup was spotless. In fact, my daughter stopped by while the work was being done and said she could tell how pleased I was with the new look my backyard was taking on. She also had a long overdue need for tree and other property maintenance at her house. As a result, Marvin was asked to stop by and provide an estimate. The rest is history, as another beautiful job was done at her house and she was equally thrilled upon completion (11/04/23) to see the new look her side and rear property also took on.
