The Slevin Group has provided lawn service for us for over 10 years. They have been extremely professional. The crew was very thorough and prompt. They also repaired and power washed our pavers and installed a system to alleviate high water area of our yard. They can do so much more than seasonal property maintenance.

We have a small property where every plant matters. Bill has done an amazing job at helping us maximize and beautify our space. The Slevin Group has done many projects for us over the last 12+ years including a paved driveway expansion, a backyard patio, a retaining wall, a shed, landscape lighting, as well as countless plantings and ongoing maintenance. Their thoughtfulness and attention to details is always appreciated.

I reside in an apartment complex which used The Slevin Group for both snow removal and landscaping. I have lived in the complex for over 20 years.

Last year the complex hired Slevin. In all my years the group is outstanding in their service. The snow removal is top notch. The employees especially PETER who operates the snow plow and who I believe is in charge of the group are extremely efficient.

The group is very efficient. Taking the time to do a little extra to help with senior citizens and those of us that are handicapped. The employees are most respectful and helpful.

Before Slevin came on board the grounds were deteriorating. After a year of their professional work the grounds are back to a beautiful lush landscape.

My wife and I just moved from Brooklyn to NJ to begin a new adventure in our very first home. One thing our house was missing was a backyard space that we actually enjoyed being in. It was piled with concrete for cars to park, and lacked any sort of inviting tone.

Our friends in the area recommended Bill and his team and we couldn't be more thankful that they did. Bill and his team helped us every step of the way. The entire process from the first phone call to project day was more than seamless. Bill answered all of our questions, sent quotes fast, heard any of our concerns and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted and more. They completely transformed our back yard from a plain old asphalt driveway, to whats now a large and lush green space with vibrant blue grass sod, new patio extension and ample gardening space. They even went the extra mile and added 3 beautiful stepping stones in the mulch for accessibility of getting in and out of the garden.

We didn't have a vision for our back yard when buying our home and now we cant help but imagine all the possibilities that can come to life back there. Bill's entire team is super communicative, dedicated, hard working and extremely meticulous about the details. They not only care about the technical details of what it makes to create a successful outdoor space, but also think about the visual design and flow as well, which goes a long way in landscaping.

Our home journey is just starting, but with The Slevin Group on our team we know we are in good hands and will be able to craft a backyard that truly feels like us.

Wonderful job, always professional and courteous.

I have used Proline Landscaping since 2013 mainly for lawn moving, spring and fall cleanups, trees/bushes removal. They always do a very good job for a reasonable price.

Ridel and his company damaged our lawn, killed a whole line of very expensive bushes, completely ignore huge weeds growing out of bushes, don't show up when you call them repeatedly, and completely ignore your calls and messages. They also contract for $300 a month stating it covers all lawn care, and then send heafty bills of $4000 over and above that, which we never agreed to, or was never quoted by them. They are cheaters, liars, and the most unprofessional landscaping company in the area. Save yourself the heartburn, trauma, time, and money.

Love that they do soil testing to properly treat & maintain the lawn, shows up on scheduled day, or communicates if needs to change. Quick & easy billing/payment. Glad we found them. They make our lawn look like green lush carpet!

The experience from beginning to end was seamless. Ridel and his team were extremely knowledgeable and helped with making the right decision for the landscaping of our home. I highly recommend them!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Proline team on several projects and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Ridel (the owner) knows his stuff and has on many occasions added value by redirecting me to economical alternatives from my original ideas (e.g. reseeding grass instead of brand-new sod installation, using existing stones from my backyard leveling project to build a natural stone wall instead of overspending on a less durable brick and veneer wall). The entire team is very responsive, friendly, and always willing to help with projects - no matter how big or small. I look forward to continuing working with them in the future. Highly recommend!

Great creativity and service

In my experience this service is completely unprofessional. I have a small landscape lighting repair job, and when I called I explained the trouble I was having and the woman who answered the pone assured me they do small jobs, and indicated they were busy so I could expect a call early the following week. I found that reasonable and did indeed receive a call. My 4 attempts at calling back and my attempt at texting have all been met with no response. Based on this experience, I could not recommend them.

Excellent use of various plantings around the house! Scenic landscaping all year as a result!! Additional stonework also added in areas where the landscape needed to be raised or lowered. Our property is particularly challenging since it isn't flat but of all the companies interviewed, this was the only one that provided the most creativity and guaranteed satisfaction. The work was completed in a timely fashion too!

Frank and his team were professional , fair priced , and experts in their profession. Would highly recommend him and use his services again.

Wow what an amazing experience. They transformed my landscape both in front and back yards for my old house before I moved and was able to help drive my sell price way up. And now in my new house they have completely turned my ugly overgrown front landscape into a beautiful entrance and my backyard from a nightmare to lush and plush outdoor living. Highly recommend them!

Excellent experience! Frank, and/or his team lead, and his team were always on site and on time, detail focused, and a pleasure to work with from design to completion. Very professional! We look forward to working with them again on a future project.

Finishing Touch has done a few jobs for us. They've fixed drainage and grading issues, redid a poorly installed paver patio, and even some interior repairs. We plan to have them back to redo our paver driveway. The usual contractor hassles don't apply. They show up when they say they will, work quickly, only use top quality materials (which is usually where others cut corners you won't immediately notice), they honor whatever the estimate was, and they are very responsive.

If you get competitive quotes you'll find this company is not inexpensive. But you get what you pay for. You can have inexpensive work or you can have quality work, but you can't have both. It cost less in the long run to have quality work that will last decades rather than cheap work that you have to redo every couple of years. A lesson I've learned the hard way. So take it from me: ignore low-ball competing bids and have it done the right way the first time by hiring these guys.

We hired Frank and his crew to work on my cousin's backyard when they moved to their new house. They did a beautiful job and in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend for more work in the future!

Frank and his crew did an outstanding job landscaping our property. They fixed multiple drainage issues after a very complicated inground pool excavation, buillt a waterfall with boulders that were left over from the excavation, planted trees and shrubs, and installed sod. The job was completed in a timely fashion at a fair price. I would definitely recommend Frank's company, Finishing Touch Landscape to anyone who is looking for a landscaper.

I had a lot of issues with water in my house...I spoke to so many people ...until I met Frank. He took his time to explained in details what was happening to my house. He took his time to explained what could be done. His patience and knowledge were unbelievable. His crew was amazing. I could not recommend a better company.
