Frank came over and pointed out the issues that was causing our water drainage issues. He answered all of our questions and performed a multi-step job to eliminate the problems, installing a french drain and a new drainage pipe that was needed. Colin and Louis worked hard on the job and it was a great team effort. We will reach out to them again in the future. Thanks Guys!!

My 1st job with Frank, who is very abrasive, was to fix a leak from window wells into our basement of house #1. They fixed that problem successfully but created some pooling of water in the ground outside. They never fixed it despite calls for it. My second job with Frank was to fix significant pooling outside of our new home and basement leakage. He fixed most of the areas but had to come back to fix an area that collected runoff from his own grading that still is swampy after rains. He limited the the basement leakage. He also was hired to raise a/c condensers 4 inches above ground level to avoid seepage into them. He only filled it to ground level despite repeatedly being told I wanted it 4 inches above. He called me a liar and ended the job midwork. On all the jobs he did fix some problems and created new ones.

I hired Frank Davis five years ago at my previous home to build a front yard. Of all the landscape professionals I spoke with, Frank was the only one with a creative vision I trusted to carry out the project. He did so in a professional manner with the assistance of a friendly crew. Several years later, we moved into a new home which need a great deal of landscaping and hardscaping work. Frank was able to see the vision and created an amazing backyard which we could never have conceptualized on own own.

I highly recommend Frank and his crew. Finishing Touch was highly professional, dependable and most of all had the vision and ability to create a yard that for us has been a truly enjoyable outdoor space.

Frank and his entire crew were incredible. My wife and I wanted to do a pretty major backyard remodel. New patio, outdoor kitchen, the works... Frank provided a very detailed quote, helped us to change a few things we didn't think about, and was able to get started quickly. Through the process the communication was excellent (which is very important for us), things were on schedule and they were there every day working hard. We couldn't be more pleased with our new backyard and would absolutely recommend them to our family and friends.

After twice attempting to get a significant yard drainage issue addressed with two other contractors, I found Frank Davis and Finishing Touch Landscape. Frank took the time to make sure that I understood the problem and all aspects of the project. Frank and his team were very patient and professional and the project was completed timely and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Frank and his team.

Frank Davis made my day, my week, my month! After being totally bamboozled ( which I hate to admit) by an unscrupulous "contractor" , I called 5 landscape drainage companies who all had somewhat similar plans on how to fix the disaster in my front yard. There were pipes, stones, a big hole with a basin ( filled with more stones) in my very small yard. All of them shook their heads trying to figure out what the "make believe contractor" ( my words) was attempting to do. One of them said my yard was so wrecked that he would not be able to warranty his work and therefore could not give me an estimate.
Frank was the only one of the 5 guys who came out, that asked to see the basement. The original problem was that there was water getting into the very front part of basement. I asked him for references, he sent me 8 contacts ( all with drainage work done) I spoke to 2 of these references who spoke highly of his work. I hired him.
A team of 3 guys, led by Otto, came to the house and in two days turned it from that wreck to beautifully topsoiled and seeded. They took out much of the stones, the basin, all sorts of other totally useless drains. They dug many feet along the basement wall, applied hydraulic cement and other water proofing materials, and set up drains with the correct pitch which would actually work!
Just a couple days later (Sat March 23) an incredible rain came down all day long. Frank called. I told him that there was a bit of water coming in around the water pipe, but nowhere else along the wall or floor. Monday morning Otto and team were here, they dug to the water pipe, adding more hydraulic cement, inside and out, along with a couple more tweaks outside.
Frank made me almost (!) forget what was a most horrible experience with the other guy. I cannot say enough about his expertise, the work ethic from his guys, and his word that he will fix the problem! Highly Recommend!!

I generally don't write reviews, but was compelled to do so this time because Frank was about as good an experience as you'll ever have when hiring a contractor. We had a very difficult situation. We needed drainage work in our backyard. We had a horrible water collection problem and a high water table problem that was affecting our pool liner. We have had this problem for years and did not know what to do about it. I did a google search for a drainage solution company and Finishing Touch Landscaping came up first. I’m a little skeptical of reviews, but saw they had great reviews. I reached out to Frank, and, sure enough, the reviews were merited. Frank came over and surveyed my property and instantly identified the trouble areas. He came up with a perfect solution as to how to solve the problem in the least invasive method. Several days after they completed their work, we had a monster rainfall. A rainfall that always resulted in a bubble in the liner. When the rain stopped, I looked at the pool and was ecstatic to see that there was no bubble in the liner. I immediately called Frank and congratulated him, and thanked him for finally solving an issue we’ve had for years. In addition to his knowledge and ability to solve problems, his professionalism was excellent. He was always at the job site to oversee his staff and work as a team. He exceeded all expectations. I would definitely recommend Frank and his team. As a matter of fact, I will be using him next Spring for my landscaping needs.

We had a fantastic experience working with Finishing Touch Landscape. We had severe drainage issues in our backyard and front yard, causing water damage in our basement. Their team successfully mitigated all drainage issues outside and renovated our entire basement, which is now a beautiful playroom for our kids. They also built custom window boxes for the exterior basement windows which look like they were built with the original house! Best of all they completed the project in record time, and in constant communication throughout the process. Their team is also extremely professional and took care of our house every step of the way. Would highly recommend working with them for any projects both exterior and interior!

Very happy and pleased with the work done by Finishing Touch Landscape. It is Awesome! The scope of the job was multifaceted. It involved leveling one side of the backyard, building a new wall to create a more comfortable walk with steps and stone slabs. Additional work was done on the other side of the house to significantly improve the walking path and also solve a water drainage problem. All the work was completed as per the contract. Frank Davis's recommendations were on the "money" and he was very responsive to all of my questions and concerns (all solved). Connor and Michael were the crew of two who did all of the above work. They were professional, meticulous, paid attention to detail and cleaned up at the end of the day. Highly recommend Frank Davis and Company for any and all landscaping. A great company.

Called for a quote. He came out but never followed up. Small business owners don’t realize how much business they lose from not following up. Nice guy though. Too bad.

They showed up early and worked quickly, safely and cleanly to cut and dispose of multiple trees. They left the site after cleaning and removing all debris and brush. They used a crane to quickly and safely remove trees and a truck with a chipper. They were slightly more affordable than the two other reputable companies that gave me a quote. I highly recommend them.

I had been in search of a landscaping company that would be reliable, honest, easy to work with and did excellent work. I found all of these attributes in Mastership Landscaping. Elvin is so, so good at detail and perfection in hardscape and planting. They did an amazing job with stonework, pavers, grading, planting, lighting and they were so clean. He and his team were such a pleasure to work with. I actually enjoyed having them at the house. I love that Elvin is so honest and fair. I will be using Mastership for all of my landscaping needs. I love their work!

Kohut and Son Landscaping has transformed the landscape for our home in Boonton, NJ to an incredible outdoor space! We began with repairing and restoring a 80+ year old broken concrete retaining wall, this job was amazing and you would never know it wasn't all original. We just completed phase 2 by adding a flagstone hardscape patio, a dry creek bed, and new grass and green area in the lower portion of our property that was just mulched before.
