Josh was great! He had no problem at all locating the issue to fix my a/c unit on one of the hottest weekends of the year so far. This was a Sunday morning emergency dispatch call and Fox heating & cooling was very responsive. No complaints.

Dowd-Fox came out on time and very thorough. I had a heater tune up and Howard took his time to make sure everything was in excellent working order. They had also come out last fall to install new Trane HVAC system and water heater. The team is professional, neat and explained how everything worked. Would definitely recommend Dowd-Fox

Our hot water heater had died. Spoke with Bill about options and we went with a new tankless water heater, which was a great recommendation. They were out right away and the installation was professionally done. I would highly recommend them.

If you're looking for an HVAC company I highly recommend this company. There was not ONE person I spoke to who wasn't professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The owner even came out to check on the job. From the ladies behind the scenes to the installers...everyone was amazing!! We used their financing that was seemless and my new AC unit is running like a champ!! Just like they promised me. They are local, all the products were made in the US (love that)

I give Fox one star as have extensive experience with him as installed our HVAC originally and additionally paid for a maintenance contract while under warranty for years. I don’t like to give negative feedback, but in this case you should be warned he does not stand behind his work and has no integrity. I gave him the benefit of the doubt when it took two years to replace a simple PVC vent line that I had to keep a bucket under (slow drip) as when they came out for seasonal maintenance they always forgot to bring the part until I demanded a separate visit to fix, or when they installed the HVAC system instead of using a ladder I walked in on the installer standing on a new couch in the basement in his boots.
They had to replace a flexible drain line which clogged prior, and installation was extremely poor. It is about to fail again as restricted, and they waited until system just out of warranty to say they would fix at additional cost after seeing during a paid maintenance visit. I asked to cover as should have been done several years ago as saw an issue back then and mentioned, and drooping down a foot off the ceiling since installation. Since my request to cover they will not respond after being told several times they will call me back, this is literally a 20-minute repair and $25 worth of tubing that I will now do myself. The point is when both under warranty and charging an additional $250 per year for maintenance and inspection should stand behind your work and do what is required and right.

Had a new HVAC system installed recently. Bill Fox (owner) answered all my questions and offered different options. The install was quick and the crew was outstanding. Bill stopped by during the installation and followed up after to make sure my wife and I were totally satisfied. Recently had an operational question. Bill answered right away and sent out a Technician to make sure everything was good and that my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Bill even stopped by himself. I can't say enough about the exceptional service, and friendliness of everyone at Fox HVAC from the owner, office folks, installers and Technicians. The level of customer service before, during, and after is phenomenal. Thank you Bill and crew.

I woke up yesterday morning freezing, the inside temperature was in the low 50s. My thermostat was flashing an unfamiliar error code. I placed a call to Fox who sent a repair man to my home within an hours time. Unfortunately, I needed a part that he did not have on him or in the shop. Much to my surprise, he drove to the Trane dealer, purchased the part and fixed my heater same day! During the time that Keith was trying to secure the part, Erica at the office kept me updated regarding the part and when the repair would be made. Talk about going over and above, especially since the temperature will be 18 degrees tonight. Thank you again!!

We had to have emergency service when we bought our house the week we moved in. We found this company as a local, reliable, well mannered and highly recommended company. Follows all health and safety codes and helped us understand the scope he was able to do under his licenses. Very detail oriented and upfront with the any billing and permit questions. Since our experience was so pleasant I have had them service my parents and grandparents homes as well.

Terrence came out promptly. He tested our unit to see what the problem was, figured it out and fixed it that day. He did a great job! The ladies in the office were great as well with answering my call and getting someone to our house that day. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic service! Owner responded personally to my initial inquiry, providing model, pricing, and payment options. He scheduled installation of our new unit within a week, and sent a competent team of professionals to my home. He came to my home himself to check on them, and they did a great job... respecting my home and finishing the job faster than I expected.

I highly recommend this company. I needed to replace the entire HVAC system and HW heater. The entire Fox team was professional, incredibly informative and helpful in all of the process, beginning to end. From the start Howard and Bill took time to answer my endless questions and comparisons, explain systems and options. The installation team did a fantastic job on all levels. And the result of increased efficiency and lower utility costs are already evident from the new systems. I'm thrilled! The Fox team was knowledgeable and respectful on all fronts. I needed a new hot water heater and Fox was very accommodating. I have been dealing with them for over 20 years and they are always professional and courteous. Within 24 hours on a weekend I had a new one installed. Keith was great as the rest of the crew. Thank you for another great job!

We needed a mini-split due to our converted Attic to Master Bedroom. Fox HVAC came promptly to the rescue. From start to finish, we were kept updated on the install, the electrical install & how to operate. Bill and his team were very neat and did a great job. We can now sleep comfortably. Great job Bill & team. We highly recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

Billy Fox made the process of selecting the right AC/heating system very easy. He is professional, straight forward, and is very thorough. He also seems to hire like minded people as the experience we had from the scheduler, Erika, to the entire crew were top notch. This company is well run. The crew were spotless, worked quietly (I work from home, so that was important), and they too are all clean cut & professional. The AC/Heat works flawlessly. I waited 2 months to write this review so I could give a fair assessment. The energy consumed/cost has decreased by 15% from years prior during the same time period. Between that factor and the excellent finance rate of 0%, it’s clearly an investment we were happy to make. Going forward we will be using Fox Heating/AC for the annual maintenance. Thank you Billy & crew for making the entire experience one we have not regretted!

I have been a customer of this company for years. They have always provided great customer service and have always been honest and up front with theirs repairs and recommendations. Just recently had a new air conditioning installed. The two installers Shane and Michael did an excellent job. Very detailed in explaining the operation of the new unit. Very accommodating to some people requests that we had concerning the appearance of the exterior hookups of the unit. Would highly recommend to anyone needing service or installation.

We had our Hot Water heater fail on Sunday evening and after researching the situation called Fox Heating & Air Conditioning Monday afternoon. Service was very friendly and accommodating of our schedule and situation. The service Team was at our Home by 8:00 AM Tuesday morning and done with the installation of a new Heater by 10:00.

The Team was friendly, courteous and kept their work are clean. Outstanding!

Installing a unit in the attic is a serious job and it takes a few days.

Bill & his crew were professional, personable and respectful of our home.

Most of his guys and office staff have been with him for years, and to me that says everything.

I also love buying from LOCAL companies that have a long tradition in the area.

In a nutshell, the quality of the Trane system they offered at that price point and the way the crew went the extra mile to install it to meet our unique needs made for a great experience.

We had four other HVAC companies come in with quotes! We bought from William Fox for a reason! Better quality manufacturing, (you can see & hear it) and an excellent warranty.

I don't do reviews as a rule but I believe in good quality companies and the people who love the job they do!

Our maintenance appointment was for 9:00 am and Matt was right on time. He was professional and very knowledgeable. Oue experience with Dowd from install to first maintenance has been very positive. I priced with three companies and Fox/Dowd had the best value for the best equipment. I would highly recommend them

Mr. Fox and his team were outstanding. They were professional, courteous, respectful, neat and clean, and the workmanship was superior. Mr. Fox presented a great solution to our heating and cooling needs, and provided it at a reasonable price. His workers arrived on time and did a great job with the installation. They took the time to explain the system and were very knowledgeable about all aspects of our new ductless mini split unit. I would use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

I would highly recommend William Fox Heating & Air Conditioning. He's honest, responsive and stands behind his work. I needed a new furnace. It was scheduled quickly and completed on time. When the owner of our local HVAC company retired after working with him for 15 years, I was desperate to find a new family owned company. I found Dowd Fox through the Trane website and had an initial meeting with them which was very impressive. My desperation turned to urgency when two weeks later - on Christmas Eve - our heating unit broke. I wasn't even a client yet - but they sent someone out THAT DAY to look at the unit. We ended up deciding to purchase a new unit and everything from the design to install was flawlessly done. We just had our spring maintenance with the technician and I was again impressed by the process that they take to review everything, the Air test that they run during the service, and the digital nature of their entire operation which makes everything so easy. I'm thrilled to have found Dowd Fox - a family owned company who are experts AND very digital. Highly recommend them.
