Great company to work with. I have dealt with a lot of Landscaping companies in my 20+ years of being in the Maintenace industry and this company is one of the best.

I just want to say what a fabulous job the snow crew did here in Holliday Village East..
By 9 am, our driveway , porch and walkway were clear.. and the streets look great..
Thank you so much for the wonderful snow work.

I have worked with Brightview for years for the communities I managed and have been truly impressed with the service, technology and communication. Jeff Felt is a pleasure to work with!

Worst landscaping company ever!!! They put blowers in young boys hands and send them off with no training and so if you’ve just mulched and pay money on your mulch, they will come and gladly blow it onto the grass and then blow it all over your patio instead of using the blower to clean the area they use it to make mess so that you have to come home and pick up mulch off your lawn and sweep your patio. I do not recommend this horrible company.

Would not recommend this company at all. STAY AWAY. They are supposed to be cutting my community weekly, which now has turned to every other week. When they do come to cut the grass, majority of the yard work is done with a weedwacker. So you can imagine how uneven and terrible that looks. They never blow off any of the left over grass. Sometimes they completely forget to cut my backyard and when they do GUESS WHAT, THEY DESTROY YOUR PATIO. The worker tried to squeeze their large riding lawnmower into a small corner that could barely fit a walking lawnmower and each time he does this it knocks down my pavers on my patio. Terrible job each and every time the grass is cut. Never weedwacks the edges so over grown.

UPDATE: I have been calling the company and left multiple emails and have yet to get a call back. It has been 4 days.

Brightview Landscaping is a great company! Rob and Chris are great to work with. They make sure my HOA are kept in pristine condition and work with challenging personalities each day with a smile. I am happy to say they are our landscapers!

Brightview has been a great company to have as our supplier. We can count on them for a variety of services between landscaping, snow removal, and painting parking lots. Very quick responses with the work being finished even quicker!

Horrible company! They will damage your siding, sprinkler heads and never return your phone calls! Rob Dwyer, manager of the Cherry Hill location, is absolutely the worst and will not take responsibility for anything or even return a phone call !!! Managers are never on site when their working staff is on location, not even to just follow up! As a commercial business DO NOT have your company sign any contracts with BrightView Landscaping! Just Google them! Their reputation speaks for itself! Whenever you give a negative review BrightView types a comment stating- we'll look into it, or email us so we can resolve the problem! IT'S ALL LIES! We have emailed them, we've called many times locally and the Corp Office! They will never return your calls or else we wouldn't need to post these reviews!

BrightView was out at my apartment complex this morning landscaping and they went above and beyond. I have a balcony on the first floor that is COVERED in leaves, I never got around to get the leaves out from fall and it has really been piling up. A couple of guys cleaned all the leaves out for me and the surrounding mulch area and it looked so amazing. Not only did they do that small thing for me, but they made the entire apartment complex landscaping look amazing as well! Just wanted to thank the company!

A giant truck towing what looks like a water tank of some sort should 100% not be driving the way these trucks are. Whoever was operating the company vehicle was swerving in and out of lanes, flooring it at every chance, and tailing the heck out of the car in front of them. Super dangerous and reckless.

My HOA decided to use Brightview landscaping and they are horrible. They do a rush job every time they come here and I’m over it. They half ass mow the yards, they don’t edge anything nor do they blow the debris off the walks when they’re done. Residents are told to leave backyards accessible so brightview can also mow the back but they never do. They’re literally getting paid for services they don’t provide. I make it a point to send pictures to my HOA every time brightview comes, in hopes they’ll get tired of listening to me and get rid of this sorry company!

How unfortunate is it to come home from work and your down spout has been disconnected by mowers knocking into it over and over? Weeds left uncut in front and back yard. Back yard weed whacked nearly entire flower area that’s clearly separated by 12-14 solar lights! Whacked the area to the dirt breaking the bottoms of my wooden fence. Left vm at Brightview 7/18; the HOA sent pictures to the landscaping co; I even drove around looking for them Friday afternoon and found and spoke to Xavier who was standing out with his team and trucks. He said he’d told the workers to be mindful of people’s property! And he’d tell his management that I expected to be reimbursed and how would Brightview make this right?
When you work hard for the little you have and uncaring individuals wreck the simple solace you get looking out your back windows and to continually knock into your huge downspout that keeps rain from pooling at your foundation. There’s an issue. I hope to hear from Brightview as to how they will make this right and do better for our properties here at Oakcrest

My family has owned a home in our current South Jersey HOA for 18 years, and we have had numerous landscapers throughout this period of time. But Brightview has been far and away the WORST of the bunch, and it took less than a year for them to lay claim to that title.

It started back in the spring when they failed to cut our grass in a timely fashion and left our village looking like a jungle. Our community Board of Trustees asked for patience as Brightview "gets acclimated" to handling our property, so we cut them some slack. But things only spiraled downward from there, as the landscapers damaged my property and refused to compensate me fairly.

Their workers drive the riding mowers at speeds that I never thought the vehicles were even capable of going. As they swerved around the bend in my backyard at God knows how many miles an hour, they clipped my rear patio pavers with the blades of the mower. As you can see from the pictures, the pavers became scratched and chipped and were damaged beyond repair.

On top of this, they sped across my recently sealed driveway with their mowers, leaving unsightly tire treads behind and chipping the driveway. You can see both the tire treads and the chip in the photos I posted. Donald DeGrazia, a senior account executive with Brightview, came to look at the damage to my driveway and refused to compensate me. He claimed that the chip was already there (it wasn't) and said that the tire treads were "faint" and could barely be seen. Look at my photos---do those tread marks look "faint" to you? I tried hosing them down and scrubbing the driveway to remove the tread marks, but to no avail. The only way to restore the driveway to its original state is to reseal it, and DeGrazia refuses to do it.

Regarding my patio pavers, he claimed that my pavers were discontinued, so he merely offered to turn the current ones over to hide the scratches and chips. Really? When my landscaper came for fall cleanup, he confirmed that the pavers are still manufactured and offered to do the work for me. DeGrazia offered to pay, but only if a proposal was submitted to Brightview for review and approval. Then I would have had to wait for Brightview to come out and inspect the work before a check could be cut for a measly $75. Rather than put me and my landscaper through all that trouble, I ate the cost myself.

Now it's December, and our community has yet to have fall cleanup. The grounds are an embarrassment! They are so full of leaves that you can't even see grass in many places. To top it off, Brightview came out and spread fertilizer...ON TOP OF THE LEAVES!!! Who does that? So now when they finally come for fall cleanup, they will remove all the leaves that are now coated with fertilizer. Can a landscaping operation possibly be more incompetent?

In summary, if you want a landscaper who will damage your property and refuse to compensate you fairly, then Brightview is for you. But if you'd rather not deal with these types of situations, then I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. I am a state-certified business administrator, as well as a former Board member in my previous HOA. I have dealt with dozens of landscapers throughout my career as a business administrator and HOA president, and I have never seen such incompetence and arrogance. Brightview ought to be ashamed of themselves for the way they have handled my situation, as this is no way to treat the people whom you serve.

Update: They replied to my review within three hours and asked me to send them an email with my contact information, promising that management will get back to me to resolve the matter. It's been over a month since I sent them the email, and guess what? There has been NO RESPONSE from anyone at BrightView. Apparently they post replies to negative reviews promising to make things right, but in reality they have no intention of ever following up. To those seeking a landscaping company, STEER CLEAR OF BRIGHTVIEW!

I highly recommend A Cut Above the Rest! I called Dave for for an estimate for mulch and a spring cleanup, and he came out the same day even in this very busy time of year. Dave gave me a very competitive price, and he was able to schedule the work for two days later! Dave and his team made our property look beautiful with their attention to detail, quality materials and expertise. We look forward to calling Dave for all of our future landscaping needs.
