I've had my sprinkler services with Emerald Lawn Sprinklers for a few years now and their service has always been awesome. Nesto and Max came over to do my last service request and highly recommend them.

Alex and Justin are very nice and professional. We got a new house and they helped us start and test Emerald Sprinkler, installed the new control panel and rain sensor. They also helped me set up WiFi and Rainbird app so that i am able to do everything on my phone.

The installation itself went fine. But it is NIGHTMARE to work with the ladies on the phone. They talk to you SO RUDELY and with ARROGANCE as if they are doing some charity work. I have had to call them numerous times to follow up on permits and swapping the complimentary service with de-winterizing the sprinkler system and every time I have to deal with the CONDESCENDING tone. It is not worth the hassle to go with this company for the sprinkler system needs. Even a DMV rep would treat you with better respect, if you know what I mean. Please have some BASIC customer service etiquette.

These guys got out quick and since they had done great work in the past for the sellers of our home we just recently purchased, it was a done deal we’d use them to check up on the system. There were a few issues the sellers had kinda ignored for awhile that we needed repaired and they did it the day of the initial visit. Looking forward to getting this system going now so flowers and plants stay beautiful and the grass stays green in this heat wave!

I had my system installed 13 years ago and Emerald has been servicing it since then. Had an opening today and several problems were found with sprinkler heads and back flow protector. Nesto and Max made the repairs on the spot. I was totally satisfied.

We have the “nothing is included, everything is extra” service agreement … I’m just kidding with that characterization! Emerald did not install our system, and it is now older. Each year, Emerald identifies a number of needed repairs. Fair enough. They have been easy enough to work with, and it can be challenging for the office and service teams to serve a large volume of customers during peak times.

Emerald seeks a premium for servicing irrigation systems which they consider “luxury” items in the current environment … fair enough … and we also appreciate that there are often costs and overhead involved that we do not always think of as homeowners.

My concern is that all pricing is “A la carte”, irrespective of the volume of items or time required. So start-up visits have become wildly expensive. Some of the individual repairs literally took only a few minutes and I was not shown the completed repairs before they were very quickly covered over (🤔). Overall, in my experience, Emerald can sometimes be more “transactional” than relationship-oriented and overly focused on revenue and profitability optimization for each and every visit.

Finally, for those interested in reviews, I think that you can get a good sense from Emerald’s responses to the lowest reviews (I recently saw them and this is what motivated me to post a review).

Troy and Carlos handled our spring turn on/system maintenance in May. They were both great- Troy went above and beyond, helping me change the default settings and giving me a refresher course on how to adjust the settings myself. Thanks so much

Troy and Carlos did an amazing job restarting the system after a cold winter. Promptly fixed all the problems and were very helpful educating on the different aspects of the system and ways to make it run more efficiently. 5 stars!

Took over the contract when we moved in 5 years ago and had no experience with a sprinkler system. They are always reliable and knowledgable and are helpful at explanations. Only wish you can schedule online but have no issues with their service.

I've had these guys for 15 years. Always very responsive and attentive with very fair prices. Troy and Carlos came out and did my startup and fixed a couple of broken heads in the pouring rain. Highly recommend them.
