Emerald did a great job starting up our sprinkler system this spring, which they originally installed a few years ago. Nesto and Max were very professional, walked me through the repairs required, and fixed all the problems. I appreciated how they took the time to explain everything.

Dawson & Edwardo did our start up today and were extremely professional and friendly. Dawson identified I needed a new box he explained everything, didn't push replacing it, and once I understood it was needed, he installed it right away. I have never had a bad experience with Emerald in the 10+ years I've used them!! I highly recommend their service.

We have used Emerald for almost a decade and always been happy with the service. Emerald were here for the annual sprinkler system startup today and as always they made sure the system was working properly, including sprinkler heads and rain sensor. The service is always great and price is reasonable. Davel and Henry were efficient, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend Emerald Lawn to anyone that needs a professional and reliable sprinkler system and ongoing support and maintenance.

Very disappointing. Apologies for the long review but context is important. I was a customer for a few years. The install crew was rough and caused some damage but it was manageable. Ever year I bought their contract so they would winterize in the fall and start-up in the spring thinking that would prevent issues. It doesn't. Every year at start-up they found something had "broken" over the winter that they claimed wasn't their fault. Every spring I paid to replace the broken item. This year it happened again. The joint broke where the head connects under ground. After telling the start-up crew I wasn't going to pay to fix something as a result of not winterizing it properly, they told me I had to contact the office. After multiple phone calls and messages over a week their office staff finally told me I needed to talk to Donna. It took another two weeks of phone calls and messages and still Donna never called me back. Finally I got Donna on the phone and she was nothing but confrontational from the start. Their motto should be "The customer is always wrong!" She claimed she never received any of my voicemails and never got any of the messages I left with her office staff. She refused to even entertain the idea that it could be a result of poor winterization and even told me at one point that irrigation pipes that are 8" underground don't freeze anyway because the earth warms them?!? She then compared my sprinkler system to her home pool filter and said that when her filter needs replacing, she doesn't blame the pool guy. When I told her that analogy doesn't apply, she then accused me of just looking for free service. I told her I just wanted them to do the right thing or they would lose me as a customer. She was fine with losing the customer. Again, very disappointing and really bad customer service. I would not recommend.

**Update** It's been about two weeks since I wrote this review. While they immediately responded to this review in a seemingly professional manner (as you can see), they haven't actually done anything to address the issue. They haven't even tried to reach out to me. Again, I would not recommend.

I called Emerald Lawn not for sprinklers but for landscape lighting. I don't normally write reviews but I really thought this company deserved it. Ed, the owner, was very responsive and personable. He was on time, neat and completed the work at the price he said it would be. His employees are the same, very responsive and personable. I had called after the job was complete to ask if they could tone down the lights, I wanted the house to glow a bit not be lit up and I thought the lights were just a little too bright. The very next day his crew came back and changed the bulbs to ones with a lower watt. I really liked how they were so easy to work with and cared about how the finished product looked as much as I did.

Emerald originally installed our sprinkler system in 2021 and has provided the bi-yearly service ever since. The original install was done professionally, quick and they made it an easy process for us. The cost was very competitive and we felt it was good value for the price. The team knew exactly what they were doing and ensured we had a good understanding of how the system worked once complete.

Emerald has done our spring energizing of the system as well as the fall winterization and we’ve been happy with the ease of scheduling and thoroughness of the team when they come to do the service to ensure the system is running smoothly.

I have been a client of Emerald for over 15 years. Their technicians are all professional and courteous. Yesterday, Dawel and Henry performed the start up of my system without issues. I highly recommend this company. They are reliable, knowledgeable and professional.

I have just received my annual turn on service with Emerald Lawn and Sprinkler Service. The two representatives of the company that came out, Troy and Carlos, were very helpful in pointing out that I needed 2 additional heads to cover an area of my lawn that was not getting sufficient water. They quickly fixed the situation and installed these two heads and repaired the area that had to be dug up. They are very courteous and efficient and Emerald is lucky to have them. I have been with Emerald for over 10 years and would highly recommend this company to anyone needing sprinkler service.

They did a fantastic job with the start up of my system for this year. Had them comeback and put in a new controller and relocate 2 heads.

Emerald didn’t install our system, but did some zone expansion and head repair last year. This year at startup some parts (heads and controller) were found defective. Nesto and Max did the repairs efficiently. I wish the pricing was better but our system is older. Let’s see how it holds up, and I’ll update my review based on longevity and how the work holds up.

We have had our system for nearly 20 years now and have always been happy with Emerald's service. Nesto and Max took care of our annual service today and were polite and professional. Nesto explained what they were doing and what issues needed to be corrected. He also explained different options and worked with us to provide the best solution. Everything was completed promptly and was done well.

Great customer service. Recently sprinkler line was disrupted by my Landscaper And I needed a sprinkler company to come fix it ASAP as my grass was dying. Emerald came 3 days later and Miguel Fixed the problem plus a few other adjustments. They did a thorough job fixed everything that day!

Justin and Jefferey from Emerald Lawn Sprinkler were fantastic for our start up! They showed up on time, were super friendly, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. It’s great to work with professionals who clearly know what they’re doing and care about doing it right. We have been long time customers of Emerald and have no complaints. If we’ve ever had a problem, they were always happy to help and quickly got it done . My sprinkler system is running perfectly now, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. We are ready to get our lawn, looking green and fresh for spring/sunmer. Highly recommend them—great service and great guys!

Subsequent to our call representative called me next day morning (I posted my review below with rating one by then). She told me that she talked to the owner and they would come and check for no cost. They came in and adjusted many of the heads including one head turns out to be faulty. They replaced it under warranty. I am leaving it at a rating 3, since there is room for improvement, there is no reason for representative to deny when it is still under warranty.

Not a reliable service. They completed the opening in about 10 minutes. Due to the rain, I couldn’t immediately see whether everything was covered properly. Once the weather warmed up, I noticed brown strips where coverage was missed. When I called them, they wanted to charge me the same amount as the opening fee just to adjust it—despite my warranty. They already charge more than competitors, so I don’t think anyone would want to pay two overpriced “opening” charges for the same job. Use your judgment before hiring them.

Had a good install and complimentary winterizing, but had some issues with leaks when opening the system. I could go on about all the details, but at the end of the day they are very adamant about the service contract and getting continual revenue from their customers. If you don't have a service contract, they will not help you or even be polite to you. I guess since their business revolves around a one time transaction, they feel they can treat you like garbage after you've paid for the install. If you open your system (not rocket science) you void your warranty, even if the system is less than 6 months old, and they are not helpful unless you have a service contract.
I had a defective part that was leaking water when I opened the system. So I couldn't use my sprinkler system because water continually would drip 24/7. The ladies in the office were snarky and focused on how I had voided my warranty and would not tell me what part I had to buy to fix the issue myself.
All I was looking for was an apology for the trouble and to speak to someone who could tell me what I needed to replace. Instead it ended up being a heated conversation with the owner Donna (after two weeks of calls and emails with the office ladies). I guess I should have expected her to be aggressive and rude because that was my experience when speaking to her staff, but after going back and forth and getting nowhere, she offered to reinstate my warranty and fix my system if I would schedule service (fork over money). All I wanted to know was what part to order to fix it myself.
I am not interested in working with a company that treats its customers like this. They don't deserve my money, I'd rather spend it with a company that treat's its customers who spend 5k plus with respect.

Called late in the season for a sprinkler blowout. I’ve been dealing with another sprinkler company in years past and again called them this year for the winterization. I was treated as if I was bothering them this late, week of 12/1. I decided to call Emerald and was taken back by how pleasant the lady on the phone was. Very nice greeting happy to help set up an appointment and got one the following day. The technician called me prior to arrival and he too was pleasant. Good price great service. Will definitely be using Emerald going forward. Even contracted with them for the Spring opening. Highly recommend Emerald.

Love this place, a local gem. Always come away a little smarter then when I walked in.
