I've been coming here for years. It's my usual go-to for bulk restocking rock salt, garden supplies, wood, etc.

Drove an hour and hours say 5pm on google and apple, well at 4:20pm they're closed so that was a waste of my time , please update your hours if you're not open until 5 anymore

Large store with tons of products and friendly staff! I only came here to get wildflower seeds today but the staff was super helpful and I will definitely come back in the future for other gardening needs. Much better than going to a chain store where they don't care about you!

We got our Christmas tree here! Very affordable prices and open late (during the week at least). They had three varieties to choose from and plenty of each kind. We ended up with a very full and fluffy tree that we love for only $75!

If you need customized advice regarding ANYTHING involving grounds, THIS IS THE PLACE. The gentleman behind the counter, and his son (I believe), are beyond helpful every time I have been in. You can tell they are experts. And they don't just tell you things to make themselves money; they specifically tell you the straight truth every time. That's probably

Bring any related question to them...they are happy to answer all of your questions in knowledgeable detail. It's a friendly environment too; you, as the customer, will be treated as if you are an old friend.

It's truly a great place. Support small business and skip Home Depot where you will be told "Sorry...not my department" when you ask a question about a product or a situation with your grounds.

Skip shopping at big corporates and go to Bartell! I can’t say enough good things about this store! With a major snowstorm coming, I called asking if they had any salt in their inventory and there was, and the owner saved me the last bag (without me asking). To top it off, the staff graciously helped load it into my car so I could get home safely. This is exactly why it’s so important to shop local—you just don’t get this kind of thoughtful, proactive service anywhere else. Highly recommend!
