Every time I go to Bartell's. They always have the answer. Put in paver patio, they helped me pick out materials. They also have very fair prices for bulk goods like mulch, and stones. I also want to add, delivery price is quite fair compared to other locations. I needed a resolution for backyard and dogs, they gave ideas.

People working there are some of the friendliest merchants I've ever had a pleasure of dealing with. Got a great deal, too. Highly recommend place if you need pavers or garden tools.

So far they have had everything I've needed fertilizer and lawn seed. Very helpful. I didn't see flowers so I don't think they have them but they're close to me and prices are comparable to home Depot

This place has all the garden and landscaping things you need. They have garden and lawn care products you won't find in big chain stores. And combine that with their friendly and knowledgeable staff you'll have an awesome experience!!

Great place with helpful folks and surprisingly good prices! You don't have to worry about trying to find someone to help you, or that that someone has no idea what they are talking about. Much more pleasant a shopping experience than those big box hardware stores.

I have been getting a cord of wood from Bartell's for the past 5 years. They are professional, prompt and efficient. I had a small issue which was quickly remedied by the owner, Mark and Kevin. These guys are good and stand behind their business. Can't go wrong here.

The best! This is a solid, old fashioned garden center for both professionals and weekend folks. Wide range of top quality products and friendly, even fun, service. Like hardware stores of yore, I enjoy just looking around inside.

I spoke to Sarah in the Bulk Yard department and she was so helpful and nice! She took the time to find out what I was trying to do and suggested a few different options that I didn't think of that were simpler and a lot less expensive. She was so friendly and it was a positive experience to deal with her.

Good store. Plenty of selections available. Driving there from the garden state parkway is a challenge because of turning left, but one could go past the store and then turn around. Prices are reasonable. We went because a friend told us they sell bird seed there (they sell other products also). They had a good selection on hand, and it was quick and easy to purchase the products at the store. The workers were friendly.

Overall the experience was mediocre decent quality product, good prices but when I spend $300 on grass I don’t need to spoken to so rudely. Customer service skills definitely need work. Would I use them again?? Probably but I’m definitely not going to be nice anymore. Experience would have been a 5 star if they Lost the attitude.

Been here multiple times and almost every time I witness an older gentleman (must be the owner) harass the lady at the front desk. I mean this guy literally throws stuff at this poor woman, calls her names, all of this in front of customers. Really sad to see someone get treated like that. These people deserve to be shut down. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

I love to support local businesses but this is a hard one to support. I will never go back. This is the third bad experience I've had. If you are a male, they will be the nicest peoplw ever to you. If you are a female, don't even bother going. The check out people are sweeter than pie. The problem lies with the people who load the dirt into the car. They are mean and rude. No matter what you do, you will be doing something wrong.

I travel from Staten Island to this place because they are great. Me and the owner talked for like an hour and he gave me so much helpful advice about maintaining my yard. He didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need either. They're one of the of the few places that carry pine chips which is great for trees in pots. They also carry hemlock mulch which is great mulch. Highly recommend this place.
