Mike and his team managed to turn a tree falling onto our house into a pleasant experience. Mike immediately responded to our call, traveling to our place at midnight in the heavy wind and rain to evaluate the situation and patiently walk us through the tree removal and insurance claim processes. He and his crew went to work in an obviously skilled, organized, and professional manner. That, and their kindness, put my wife and me completely at ease. The tree was efficiently removed and the cleanup was spotless. Mike’s motto is that he goes above and beyond, which was absolutely true in our case. I don’t necessarily suggest having a tree fall onto your home, but if you do, call Mike and Arbor Ace!

Wow! Mike really sets the bar. He assessed and removed a dying tree from my backyard. Professional, responsive, knowledgeable, experienced, respectful (everything he moved was put back looking even better than how I had it), and really really nice! It was an absolute pleasure working with him and although I miss my tree, it was nice to have such a great experience with a contractor. Highly r commend using this tree service!

These folks deserve every penny for their service. I had two trees fall onto my garage from last night’s storm. I called Mike the owner this morning at 7am. He quickly came out, assessed the damage, gave me a plan on how to deal with insurance, helped me explain the situation to my neighbor (trees were on their property), then executed the work. The trees were gone by mid afternoon.

Mike also took the time to educate me on all the various trees I have on my property, and how to properly care for them. I can’t thank him and his brother John enough for taking the job on such a short notice. We will be contacting them again to redesign our yard.

A fantastic group of professionals who came to help us after a tree fell into our home during the 4/1/23 tornado. From start to finish these guys were knowledgeable, thorough and professional. I had to remove my dying oak tree in my backyard. The access was tight but climbing the tree was considered too risky since the branches might be brittle. Mike developed a removal plan using his state of the art crane truck. Not only it made the job safer, it also reduced the working time in half. Mike, his brother John, and his crews worked very hard in a hot sun to meet the schedule. They made sure proper supports were provided for the crane so that the driveway wouldn't get damaged. After everything was done, they made sure the work area was cleaned. I am very happy with the work they did. Highly recommended.

Mike and his crew, Nick and Logan, were fantastic! Mike was great at answering all my questions and helping us make decisions that work best for our yard and needs. He gave a us a quote and started work within 3 weeks of our initial call. There was more work then he had anticipated but he kept to his original quote. He communicated progress of the job and completed a final walk through. They cleaned our yard and all the yards around ours! I highly recommend Arbor Ace! We look forward to working with Mike and his team again in the fall when we plant the arborvitae and make our yard work complete!

There are not enough compliments we can give to Arbor Ace Tree Service. My wife and I suffered from a tree coming down on the deck and house during Hurricane Henri and to our surprise, Mike Zelenka, the owner drove from 3 hours away on a Sunday (the day the tree came down) to take a look at the damage and give an estimate. The thing that impressed us the most was that whether or nor we opted to use his company for tree removal, Mike matter-of-factly stated he would be removing the branches/canopy currently off the house, which told us a lot about him and his company. We were happy to select the Arbor Ace team to help us out and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Mike was able to round up his entire team (and then some) the very next day and in about 5 hours, removed a 30,000 lb tree . I tend to have more technical questions and Mike, as a certified arborist, gave me every answer I was looking and some I didn't even ask lol. To top it off, Mike inspected other trees around the property to let us know if any others were at risk of coming down AND cleared a tree's canopy near the house because he had all of the equipment on-site already. As you can see in the 'after' photo, Arbor Ace Tree Service stands by their 'no branch or acorn left' cleaning policy and left the yard/working area free of all debris, and tamped down any divots left by the tree in the lawn. I look forward to working with Mike in the future to plan out trees we may want to add to the property as he brings an expertise in what trees will grow best around the property's ecosystem.

I know first hand, it’s pretty stressful when an 80 foot tree falls on your property during a storm. As soon as ours fell, I called Arbor Ace and they arrived at my house within the hour. In the wind and rain, they assessed the damage, made sure everything was safe, and set up removal for the next day. From the minute I spoke with them, I felt secure about the situation, and knew they had it under control. When it came time to remove the tree, they arrived as scheduled and carefully and safely removed it from my house and property. They literally handled everything, including dealing with insurance. I’m not exaggerating when I say there wasn’t a spare twig or pinecone they didn’t pick up. The crew all seemed happy and excited to do the work, which is reflected in their work. I highly recommend Mike and his team!

Our house was in the direct path of a tornado in Flemington. We were devastated by the amount of trees that fell on our house and property. Luckily Mike stopped by asking if he could offer his services. We had no idea who he was but took a chance. This is the most amazing, professional and well trained tree company we have ever worked with. Every safety precaution was used helmets, harnesses, cones etc. Mike’s team consisted of his brother John, chief crane operator and his sister. They assess the situation, come up with a plan and have the most automated equipment to buzz through anything quickly and efficiently!! Thank you for taking us out of the war zone the tornado left behind!!

Mike and the whole Arbor Ace crew were fantastic. He showed up at 8 o’clock last night to just look at the broken tree and then came back early this morning to remove it. Mike is an extremely knowledgeable and down to earth guy and explained in full detail the scope of what needed to be done to keep the fallen tree from causing any more damage. Him and the crew removed the tree and reset the fence without any issue. I will definitely recommend Mike and the Arbor Ace crew to anyone who needs a reliable and swift tree service! When your 5 year old says "Daddy there is a tree in the backyard" it sets off quite the string of stress inducing moments...

But then comes Arbor Ace and Mike. Being PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGABLE and making sure everything was discussed/explained/comfortable for the client.

Due to how the tree fell and how my yard is laid out, many of the companies I called either did not want to take on the job OR never even came to look when they saw pictures. But Mike and his team were up for the challenge and explained they can bring in what I can only assume is named crane-zilla and ensure the job was done carefully and safely.

Arbor Ace handled calming me down, removing the tree, cleaning up the area (I swear there was not a wood chip to be found), and speaking to my insurance.

I would recommend Arbor Ace over and over again

Backstory:
I had a tree branch fall and damage my roof. I had called Mike Zelenka at "Arbor Ace Tree Service" for a tree inspection. After looking at the tree, Mike noticed some structural issues with the trunks of the tree. He pointed out how there was actually three trunks and showed me where they joined together and how that would be an issue. Upon further inspection he noticed a cavity where two of the trunks came together and could tell that bugs and other plantlife were living in that area. Mike had presented a couple of recommendations, with the best one being to remove the tree, because, while we could have cabled the trunks together for a little better support, the main problem would still be there.

We decided to go with the recommendation of removing the tree and we're extremely glad we did; the cavity that Mike noticed was much larger on the inside and went all the way down to the base (see image). The tree would have fallen.

We had the inspection occurred on a Friday, and once we decided what to do, Mike was able to get us scheduled on the following Tuesday.

What also impressed me with Mike was, when inspecting the tree, he noticed a rotten limb above my neighbors driveway and then took the time to alert them of the potential danger if and when that limb would come down, not just to their vehicle but to themselves.

Tree Removal Day:
Our tree was quite large > 50'. To get it down quickly and safely, Mike brought in "Z Tree Experts" to assist with the removal. We had a crane with a claw to grip the limbs, a person in a bucket truck to make the cuts, and a grinding machine for the branches.

The tree was on the edge of our property line and the crews needed access to a neighboring yard for the bucket truck, and the crane was along the street. Wherever the supports for the trucks were extended, sheets of plywood were laid out to protect the area. Mike also made sure it was okay to utilize part of the neighboring yard before coming out.

Both crews were amazing, the coordination between the two was seamless, and the tree was down in the same day. Not only was the service they performed excellent, but also their professionalism while on the job.

After the tree was removed, the crews thoroughly cleaned up the area; and not just my roof and yard, but those of my neighbors as well. After the stump was removed, Mike and his crew took great care to level, soil, and seed the area, and you cannot tell that a tree was there and taken down today.

Working with Mike was great! His knowledge really shows, his communication is excellent and he was very responsive with any questions we had and what needed to be done before the job started. I only dealt with Mike on the details of the tree removal, but I highly recommend both businesses for the work they performed.

Now that the tree is removed, Mike has also given us recommendations of what tree(s) to plant in our yard and we'll be looking to him in the future to do this work.

Most of all I appreciated the expertise and care. Mike knows a LOT (too much???) about trees and was very careful to do all the pruning the right way for the health of the trees. Also I was stoked how they left the property in perfect order afterwards. Very satisfied.

Mike and Logan did the best job removing a problematic Norwegian Maple from our property.

Mike is super passionate about his work, and did a great job explaining everything to me about the project every step of the way.

Mike and his team went above and beyond with their service, even pruning plants and shrubs we didn't know what to do with and giving us care tips, and doing some of the cleanup work I hadn't gotten around to in the yard for spring.

The upmost care and safety was shown to ours and our neighbors' properties throughout the job, and after the impeccable clean up you would never know they were here, apart from the missing tree!

I had a really enjoyable experience with Arbor Ace, and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone!

I highly recommend Arbor Ace Tree Service to anyone! They are very professional and provide excellent service. Mike and his team is very knowledgeable about tree removals and are expert arborist for any questions you may have about tree. They know each and every type of tree in detail.

Arbor Ace Tree Service was at my neighbor's house to cut a big tree and other branches pruned. He came over to ask if we can move our car so it doesn't get damaged. They did a great job in taking the tree down without anything falling on our side. Arbor Ace also did great job in cleaning up the few twigs that did fall on our neighbors property and it looked even better than before.

We followed up with some questions about our trees that we think are dying and Arbor Ace was very helpful in advising what may be happening to these trees. They also gave really good advice on how to take care of them and what we can do to find out more so we don't have to cut down tree big trees.

Additionally, I am doing some woodworking projects as DIY hobby and Mike was very kind to drop off big log for me. Without me asking, he saw some good branches and dropped them off in my driveway that will go really well in my projects.

Overall, I am very impressed by Arbor Ace Tree Service and the team! I will use them for any tree services I need and I recommend you to reach out to them for a very professional, on-time service!

The owner was very helpful and honest. He was patient on making sure he had the right diagnosis and explaining options. He was upfront about his pricing due to long distance and recommended that we might get better pricing working with a company that's more local. Highly recommended!

We had a large tree come down across our yard taking out a fence and creating a huge mess. Mike with Arbor Ace was there right away, he was great to work with, very informative, and did an extremely professional job taking down the rest of the tree and removing the limbs from the yard.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with Arbor Ace. Owner Mike was attentive to detail and highly responsive to text/phone calls (something that we really value). Before he gave a quote on the job, he visited just to assess our yard and explain, in scientific detail, the pros and cons of various tree trimming options. If you have any questions at all related to trees and planting, Mike is an excellent resource. We did eventually choose to do our tree removal (front yard) and trimming (back yard) with Arbor Ace. Mike, Logan and the entire team were courteous, efficient, tidy & protective of the surrounding environment in their work. By Mike's own admission, his company is not "the cheapest guy", but you get the quality that you pay for and that quality was amazing. They went so far as to clean off neighbors' decks and yards from any wood dust the tree projects generated. A few of our neighbors came by that evening and commented that if you didn't know the neighborhood you'd never know there was a tree in the yard NOR that there were several tons of heavy machinery on our lawn that morning. Very happy with the service and would gladly call them again for future needs.

We absolutely loved our tree, but late February I noticed a crack forming where the main leads forked. I called a few places for estimates, but when Mike came onsite, he took the time to fully educate me on the extent of our issue, which was an emergency thanks to his keen eye and expertise. My neighbor passing by reminded me that they had also used Arbor Ace and Mike got another thank you from him as he passed by. Given the urgency of our situation, Mike took good care of us by changing his schedule and getting started the same day to make our tree safe for the upcoming storms. Mike and Logan are true professionals of their craft, and not only do they know trees, but they also know how to talk to people and explain whats going on. They were always at the ready to answer any questions during the entire process beginning to end. My confidence in choosing them only intesified as they removed the tree and perfectly put everytyhing back together. Their like tree ninjas, one second the tree is there and then its gone without a trace. Very pleased with quality and experience of having them take down our precious 100+ year old tree.
