I worked with Sheridan a few months back for the purpose of repairing a gas line feeding an outdoor grill that was damaged by a fencing contractor. My first bid from Hutchinson, who I have contracted with for heating and plumbing in the past, was in the mid-to-high four figures, more than what I expected for the scope of this work (frankly and past a series of ownership changes and employee departures, they seem not the company they once were.) I then sought out Sheridan, whose bid was more reasonable and more in line with my expectations. They had to make multiple trips to my backyard to complete this job, as there was an issue on reconnecting the line, but did so cheerfully. Related to this, and on their last trip, they smartly asked a PSE&G tech to come out with them, and that individual was able to procure for them a specialty fitting not normally available and that finished the work. I was much impressed by Sheridan’s persistence to get the job done right and hope to again utilize their services.

Joe from Sheridan is a consummate professional. He has been out to our apartment both for AC and heating repairs. Previously, our landlord used a different company and they came out a few years in a row for AC repairs, but they never really fixed the issue. When Joe from Sheridan came out, he fixed our individual unit and then even though it was his lunch hour, he stayed to look at the outdoor unit. It was low on refrigerant which is why it was not working efficiently.. It now works better than it has for the entire eight years we’ve lived here. As a female who is home alone when repairmen come, I really appreciate professionals such as Joe who make sure that you’re comfortable while in your living space. Great service.

Outstanding Service from Sheridan Plumbing!

I recently had the pleasure of using Sheridan Plumbing, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their service. From the first call, their team was professional, friendly, and efficient. The plumber arrived on time, quickly identified the issue, and explained the solution in a clear and straightforward manner.

The repair was completed flawlessly, and they made sure everything was clean and functioning perfectly before leaving. Their pricing was fair, with no surprises, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations.

I used Sheridan to redo my HVAC and they do great thorough work, communicate well and are reliable. I highly recommend using Sheridan.

I’ve had a mix of experiences at Sheridan. My mom and I have been using them for 5+ years. Their emergency service workers are excellent and they are easy to get on the phone to the house quickly. Over the course of projects, their in person teams have been professional and on top of things. They redid my shower in record time and were great in my home.

Their communication on all levels leaves a LOT to be desired. Things would be simple and run smoothly if even just a 2% improvement on transparency and communication is made. Sometimes it feels like going to an old school dive bar where the only way you get served is if you know somebody.

And this may just be a pet peeve of mine, but there are two different emails listed on their website as ways to contact, one is inactive/wrong, and the other is not responded to, so maybe don’t have any email listed at all. Provide accurate contact information for your customers please!

All in all, would I use them again? Yes. The work speaks for itself. Which is why this rating is what it is I can’t in good conscience give them a lower rating.

New hot water heater. Great experience.

Carl the owner, the first time he came out he he said it was all good when I got there , he was only there a few minutes. This is in reference to a sewer line being clogged. The next day it was clogged again . Made a call to him . That day he came out with a powered snake to unclog the sewer line, after he charged me to install $550 for a clean out inside my house. I was present and watch: there was only a little bit of toilet paper and a very little amount of hair on the end of the snake. He stated that all is good and sewer line was good and clear. Prior to him oming out for this second sevice call he stated he would bring a camera to look at the sewer line. When he arrived he said he forgot to bring the camera to view the inside of the sewer line. He was called out to honor his services approximately a month later. He refused to come out. He had a contract with the company that I pay monthly to have sewer line coverage. He originally asked me to give him a excellent review, that was the day that he charged me the additional $550. I had to get another company out to unclog the sewer line again, this was my third service call. They unclogged it, use the camera, show me what what they were seeing with the camera. Needed a new sewer line. The 4th time was the day after this company came , unclogged temporarily until they could complete job properly. This company did what they were supposed to do. I would have never needed 4 service calls if Carl D'Angelo Plumbing did a professional job during the original service call.

Great experience with Carl. He was responsive and always communicated proactively. His crew was professional and efficient. I was definitely recommend!

Carl and his team rerouted the entire kitchen drain pipe in our house that was built in the 1930's. It was a tough job but they did the work efficiently and professionally. Carl is the only plumber we use and we highly recommend him.

Carl renovated my bathroom for me and did an amazing job. Not only was he able to do the technical work with the pipes, but he also does excellent renovation and design work. My bathroom went from a 50s pink tile nightmare to a modern and sleek bathroom of this millennium. Thanks Carl!!

Drew runs a great plumbing company and his crew is friendly, clean, and fast. They plumbed a new gas line to the cook top, supply and drain lines the kitchen, laundry room and coffee bar. Great work - we always refer them.

Can’t say enough good things about my experience with D Burgo . Communication was unbelievable from job estimate through scheduling and final invoice. Sent text messages along the process with full details of appointments and showed up on time. Job was completed as described and job area was immaculate upon completion. Price was extremely fair. Great to see a family business run so well and this father son team will make you happy. Tools and equipment was all well maintained and updated which shows me they are up to date with technology and continuing to invest into their business.

I had a pipe burst at my business early am on a Monday morning. I had done a quick google search and a number of 24 hour plumbers came up including D Burgo Plumbing. Their reviews looked great and they appeared to be a local company. I gave them a call at 6am and someone picked up immediately and assured me they could get out that morning as a technician was already in my area servicing another customer. Drew was in contact with me via text to keep me updated on appointment timing.

Arrived on time, assessed our situation and came up with a gameplan and cost immediately. Had us back up and running in no time and at a very reasonable cost.
