Joe and his team are HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONALS! I recently hired NextGen for a service upgrade and electric baseboard installation. The entire project went smoothly, Joe was very easy to communicate with and responsive. His team is extremely professional, offered fair pricing, all around pleasure to work with. Most importantly he respected my deadline for the project. I strongly recommend NextGen Electric for any/all electrical needs.

Joe and the Next Gen crew did a great job for me on an addition at my house. The main job was wiring up the addition and the renovated garage but also a number of other items that needed attention. I am acting as the general contractor and it was a huge help to be able to rely on and trust Joe for great advice throughout the process. Joe helped me make decisions to stay in my budget. All the guys are professional and friendly, I would recommend to anyone!

I reached out to Joe at Nextgen to discuss having an outlet run to the outside of our house for an EV charger. Joe was very responsive and scheduled a visit to look at the project and get us a quote right away. We received a quote that evening and approved the work. Joe and his team ordered the parts and came out and completed the install. While on-site Joe's team did great work, and left us with a professional installation, cleaned up after themselves and were a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend anyone else needing electrical work in the West Essex area to give NextGen electric a call.

Joe, the owner of Nextgen Electric was very responsive to my first call inquiring about EV charger installation service. He came by the same day for a free consultation with cost estimate. He explained the full details about the panel, breaker, wiring and charge location. The scheduling of installation was also easy and he did not make me wait too long although almost everyone has been extremely busy nowadays. The installation process was straightforward and Joe who performed the job was willing to listen to my suggestions. He was also able to cater for small request outside of the job scope. Overall he did what he said with white-glove services and my garage floor was as clean as it was before the job. I was pleased with the services.

Joe was excellent! He arrived to us for an emergency service call on our electrical panel. He was immediately able to identify the issue and gave us the best cost effective solutions for the issue. He was promptly able to complete the service with everything working like new. Later on that day, just by coincidence, another issue arose with our air conditioner. We were able to reach out to him again and he was able to give us prompt service to fix the issue. We greatly appreciate the time he took out of his busy schedule to come service us. Joe has a great personality, is easy to talk to, and is always willing to go out of his way to help you. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be using him in the future.

We needed our entire outdoor lighting to be replaced. Joe and his team were excellent. They showed up every day on time and completed the project quickly. The lighting looks beautiful. Communication with Joe when I had a question was smooth and easy. His team was respectful when entering and exiting my house. Nextgen Electric was a saving grace for my EV charger install. Our 'first stop' HVAC/Electric company said we needed to do a full service upgrade to 200 amps to install a charger and were looking at ~$9,500 for that, even with a "possible" $5,500 in JCP&L rebates, which I did not want to rely on. Joe, the owner, knowing his stuff, suggested we go with a Wallbox Pulsar Plus with a load management device to stay within our 100 amp service. He was right. His service gentlemen Miguel and David were efficient and diligent in their install and I saved a good amount of money; even more considering if there was a "hiccup" with the EV charger rebates from JCP&L. If you need a residential EV charger, call Joe, he really does know the segment (and Melanny scheduled everything quickly and flexibly, on top of being responsive to my questions).

Consistently positive experience working with the team at NextGen - most recently to install an EV charger (EVSE). From start to finish, the process was thoughtfully planned, and perfectly executed at a fair rate. You can easily tell that Joe and his team genuinely care about positive outcomes.

Melanny did a great job coordinating with clear/timely communications. Joe carefully planned the work by reviewing our space and the existing electrical setup, he made very thoughtful recommendations about charger selection to ensure it meets our needs and qualifies for incentive programs.

The installation was handled expertly by Matthew and Jared. They were punctual, knowledgeable, respectful of the property, and completed the work with great attention to detail and quality. Unsurprisingly, the town's inspection of their work went very smoothly.

This has been a consistent pattern with NextGen, and I'll continue reaching out to them in the future, definitely recommend them for electrical needs in our area.
