I had a problem with my sewear yesterday. I called A-GENRAL for help. It was my first time using this company, and with quick response, they sent over a guy named Jay. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Did everything he can to slove the problem even after he found out the problem was with the city line , he called the city and stay with me till the problem was solved, I think that's the best customer service I've personally experienced. Thank you so much Jay you are a great plumber and service provider!

They sent someone the same day I called. Their service man was excellent. He fixed the problem and made certain that there were no additional leaks. He left my kitchen clean and leak free and was great to deal with. Thank you for such terrific service.

Carlos was the "clogged sewer specialist" was recommended to my landlord, Mrs. Palardy by her plumber Gary Brown . .both are EXCELLENT at what they do. I presently do not know too many plumbing, heating, sewer personnel, yet Humility is the "trademark" of these two fine gentlemen.

I was extremely impressed with the service I received from A General. Cody was the consummate professional from beginning to end! He did a wonderful job, explained everything, and left my house very clean!.

A General did a great job repairing our water line today. Kevin and Ismael arrived on time, repaired the leak under the patio and cleaned the area when they were finished. I think it’s cleaner now than when they started. They were also very careful to not damage my plants and flowers surrounding the patio.

Highly recommend A -general… Have used this company a few times now ! From small leaks to installing sink to moving a gas line for new stove & installing dishwasher & my weekend emergency was handled same day very professional company and a shout out to my latest tech Billy. Great job.

We couldn't recommend A-General Plumbing services more, with the speedy response within an hour of calling, Cody fixed the clogged drain quickly, neatly with a very reasonable price. Today I had my mainline snaked by Carmelo, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service. He did an excellent job, completing the work in under an hour. I highly recommend their services! I was more than happy they were able to schedule me with short notice and fix my issue

Our basement was flooding due to a backup in our system. After gouging us for 500 dollars, all the guy did was snake our drains twice ( since the first time didn't work). When after the second time it didn't work we were told to pay ANOTHER 600 for someone ELSE to come out with a camera. Because the guy thought he saw a twig come out with the snake...

Meanwhile all of the toilet paper sediment that was never removed is POURING out of the system because all he did was jam up our system more with all of the debris that was never removed.

Their customer service is ABYSSMAL. The rep had a snarky answer for every step of he process where this company failed us including telling us it was our responsibility to hire a cleaning service after their worker left our basement filled with unsanitary toilet paper he left everywhere. Have your guys ever heard of buckets?

I've never in my life paid so much for a plumbing service to do so little then turn around and add insult to injury and demand we pay for additional services before making us right. 500 dollars and we have a new service on the way who not only assured us they have cameras on their snakes ( this should be standard) and that it will be less than 100.

Update- second opinion and we're being told that the first plumber didn't do ANYTHING! He didn't even snake the right line! Within 5 minutes our issue has been pinpointed and diagnosed. Unbelievable.

I will never use your service just based on the way your worker drives, dude almost smashed into me and was speeding, aggressive, swerving, and driving so close to other cars, man should have his license revoked.

They came right away when I mentioned that we were scheduled to go on vacation. Their tech resolved the problem in a clean and professional manner. I highly recommend them.
Second very positive review: Jon R did a big job for us over the last 1 and 1/2 days. He worked late into the evening and returned the next morning to finish the project based on our time table. Jon worked nonstop, achieved a technically difficult project, cleaned up thoroughly and was very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend A-General based on several experiences with them.

I had a plumbing problem on a Saturday. I called A General Plumbing and within one hour Cody showed up to help resolve the problem. Cody was very reassuring and extremely knowledgeable. Within a short period of time the problem was solved. I highly recommend this company and I would strongly suggest requesting Cody.

I recently called A-General in Farmingdale for drain service and had an exceptionally positive experience.This company and the technician dispatched within a few hours to my call(Wesley) are models for customer service!
Wesley was professional, positive and pleasant, knowledgeable, did trouble shooting, answered my questions effectively, then explained in detail what procedures he needed to complete. My job was completed quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to call again, if needed. Thank you for a job well done.

Cody came out within 30 minutes of the call. He was professional, took care of the backed up kitchen sink, and made sure that everything was working. He made sure that everything was tested and dry. He was very calm and professional. Would highly recommend.

Jay from a general plumbing and sewer services came out this evening to take a look at a blockage. Amazing technician. Incredibly courteous, presentable and extremely technical. Jay had the situation fixed almost immediately and did an excellent job of explaining everything that he encountered.

Victor dumped chemicals and waste from a pipe on our front lawn. I presume it was because it was a late call that caused him to work past his scheduled hours. This is unacceptable and disgusting.

We recently had a gas leak and A General immediately sent out Alfie to assess the issue. Within 24 hours, he and Danny completed the not so small job of installing new pipes and safely restoring our gas heat and hot water. We have also worked with Kevin for years and have been thrilled with his service. Alfie, Danny and Kevin are professional, personable, and a pleasure to work with. We also appreciate the hard work of the office team, which coordinates everything and checks in when technicians are on the way. Two thumbs up, all around.
