Reviews of local pros in Flanders, New Jersey

Dave was super responsive and set reasonable expectations for the job completion. He circled back after the first job and recommended that we trim the large trees on our property and remove tree limbs touching the house and roof to prevent future issues. Dave takes pride in being on site and doing the work himself which is another benefit. Highly recommend and a few neighbors have already consulted with him for future jobs. Thanks Dave! Q

Dave’s work is top notch. Punctual, thorough, and good prices. Highly recommend!

Quality work. Beautiful pruning job and cleanup on a giant Oak Tree. We are very happy and will be working with Ecology Tree again

Ecology Tree Care is excellent. They've been caring for our trees for over 15 years. Dave is great -- very easy to work with and always dependable. I highly recommend Ecology Tree Care if you are looking for expert tree services at a very reasonable cost!

Dave and crew did a great job for us. Came highly recommended and exceeded our recommendations. Work was promptly completed, very safe, and clean up was thorough. Can't say enough about them and will recommend to others. Bill N., Chester NJ

Dave has been taking down trees on our property for years in Mendham Twp.. He came and cleaned up after Sandy hit our property. His pricing is always better than other tree companies. When the job is done your property is in perfect condition. I would refer Ecology Tree Care to all of my friends.

Dave is very knowledgeable about trees and did a great job or trimming and removing a dead tree. His prices were compatible with other services. Everything was neat and clean when he finished. I would recommend Ecology Tree Care of Randolph.

We live in Chester NJ and have been working with Dave Kovolisky for over seven years. We have Dave and his team come out every two years to trim all our trees to keep our property looking it's best. He is extremly reliable and does an amazing job. Dave always offers great pricing and service. I'd highly recommend calling him.

October 2020 was our second time using Ecology Tree Care. We were extremely pleased both times. Dave was professional, reliable, timely and his quote was reasonable. We would definitely use his company again and we highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dave and his crew for any tree work a homeowner might need. I solicited a number of proposals from local vendors and chose Ecology Tree Care because of the online reviews and meeting with Dave personally. ECT’s price and scope of work were very competitive. Today they finished up exactly as proposed and I am one happy customer. Thanks Dave!

Was outstanding keeping pace with my many dead ash trees or keeping my trees trim. Reasonable price and full safe service.

Dave was great to work with. He came to my house and gave me an estimate the day I called him. I was looking to get a bunch of trees taken down and he gave me the best price out of everyone I looked into. He did great work and had the job done quickly. He also realized I was having serious drainage issues in my yard and recommend one of his friends to help me out with that. Overall it was great service and I am very happy with the work that was done.

Dave @ Ecology Tree Care was great to work with. Very responsive over the phone/text and he was able to fit us into his schedule sooner than expected. Fast, professional, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Ecology Tree Care to anyone in the area.

Unfortunately a huge tree fell between our house and the next door neighbors which was fortunate for us both, but not for them. It was around 100 degrees when I contacted him, and he and an assistant worked two hours and more in that miserable heat 'til the job was done, and even cleaned up after. I wish I had a pool for them to jump him right then and there.
Then last week Dave came to take down a cherry tree and after cutting two big branches, a yellow jacket bees nest was disturbed and out they came. He's in great shape and moved fast, but did get several stings and some cuts from the barberry shrubs, but he was determined to finish the job despite the closeness of the enemy.
Using long poles, he gingerly finished the job and even managed to clean up before he left.
Several things about Dave that as a consumer I appreciate is his work ethic--quick reply to inquiries, he checks out the situation, gives an estimate and approximate day and works with your schedule, gets here on time and works to get the job done no matter what.
He's tops in tree care as others have mentioned, so give him a call and feel confident of getting great service.

Excellent job, very clean and efficient, I had giant tulip trees getting to close to the house and Dave had no problem getting them down

Dave was a pleasure to work with. He was fast, did quality work, and at a fair price. Would highly recommend for anyone in need of tree trimming.

The nor’easters took down a tree in my yard and David was very prompt in responding to evaluate the damage. The job prevented him from using the bucket truck to access part of the tree that was tangled with another tree. So, he strapped on his spikes and climbed up to cut it loose. He was very professional, thorough, and finished the job quickly. He even gave me a free evaluation on a tree I had concerns about falling on my home. He put me at ease. Thank you David!

Excellent tree service. We have used Ecology Tree Care a couple of times (most recently during the storm) and couldn't be more pleased! Their prices are very reasonable, and Dave even took the time to cut the logs into manageable pieces for us to use as firewood. We will definitely recommend them to everyone we know!

We’ve been using Ecology for over 20 years—ever since we moved into our home—and they’ve always been outstanding. From tree removals and trimming to cleanup after fallen trees, they’ve handled everything quickly, safely, and professionally. Dave is reliable, responsive, and always fairly priced. Thankful to have someone we trust in town! Highly recommend!

Innovative installed a new Cummins standby generator. The entire procedure & all personnel were exceptional. Dealing with home repairs/ replacements/installations on my own was a new & somewhat intimidating experience, but everyone connected with the procedure was outstanding.

Innovative installed my generator years ago and services it annually. Mike the technician was very professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
