We recently worked with Innovative Electric to install a stand by natural gas generator. They offer a full range of services and products and helped us choose the best generator for our home. They took care of EVERYTHING – permits, electrical install, plumbing install & coordinating with the natural gas provider. The entire process was seamless and the ease of communicating with office staff throughout was much appreciated. We also found pricing to be much more reasonable than other quotes we had received which was an added bonus! We would definitely recommend Innovative and plan to continue to use them for annual service.

I had a generator installed in September by Innovative Electrical and they were truly amazing. The technicians were excellent and very professional. They were experts in the install of my generator. They knew exactly what to do and did it protecting my home (carpet, Furniture etc..) while installing making sure all township codes were adhered to. I have had many contractors in the past and Innovative Electric was by far the best I have ever had.

We hired Innovative Electric to install a whole house generator. From the first meeting to the completed project, we were treated with respect and professionalism. We had many questions and they were handled directly and concisely without making us feel dumb, even though we chose a larger than recommended generator. He understood our decision and respected it. We were not rushed to make a decision but after our first meeting we had the confidence to go forward with the purchase and installation of a Cummins 20KW generator. Both the electrical inspector and the plumbing inspector praised the install and said that it was one of the best that they'd ever inspected. If you are looking for a whole house generator, do not hesitate to contact them.

This is my second installation of a new back-up generator with Innovative. In both occasions the service has been outstanding from and end to end. Sue and the rest of the crew were always very knowledgeable and took care of all town permits as well as details. When the inspector came in, he asked me to take pictures to show some of his students the quality of the components and the work they did. Great company and great service......

I am very pleased with this company. We recently purchased a home that they serviced the generator on. Besides keeping up with the annual check-up, we had them assist with some electrical work. The technicians were prompt, time oriented, polite, helpful and knowledgeable.

We've had Innovative Electric for Generator maintenance for a very, very long time. Today, Gennaro was my technician. He came out in the pouring rain for my scheduled maintenance, while here, he put in a new battery. He also needed to check the SN on the panel in my basement. When he asked if he could do so, I said yes and turned to show him where the panel was located. When I turned after opening the basement door, he was coming down the stairs, I noticed he had put on shoe coverings to protect my floors. This is SO impressive, and quite frankly, rare with many companies. I appreciate the care Innovative Electric takes in maintaining my generator, the ease in appointment scheduling, and the thoughtfulness of the techs who are considerate of my home. He didn't walk across the grass either, he used the walkway. Generators are not inexpensive, caring for them is critical to ensure you've got power consistently. They keep track of when a new battery is needed, the oil levels, everything I neither want, nor know how, to do. This is a great company, can't believe how lucky I was to find them for maintenance. I recently hired Innovative Electrical for a small electrical job (install a junction box under the sink) in my kitchen, and unfortunately, my experience was DISAPPOINTING. While the technician was polite and completed the work, the final bill was far higher than I expected for such a simple task. I felt the charges were not transparent and significantly exceeded the price range. First of all two technicians came for such a small job instead of one.

For a job that should have been straightforward and affordable, I ended up paying ~$450 for work that I believe could have been done for much less. The lack of clear communication left me frustrated, and I’m left feeling like I was taken advantage of.

Even when I called them after getting the bill and explaining that more time was taken due to the tech's incompetence, they were supposed to return my call after discussing it internally which they never did. I just noticed that I am already charged for the same amount.

While I had great experience in the past with them, I felt they extremely disappointed me this time and charged almost X2 if not more than what it should have been.

I hope Innovative Electrical reconsiders their pricing practices and provides more transparency to customers moving forward. Unfortunately, I won’t be using their services again based on this experience.

Lesson learned: Don't fall for hourly rate and get an estimate before moving forward with the job.

I have been a client for many years. Bought their top tier service contract. For the second time in 5 years I had to call them on the generator being hard down in the middle of an outage. It turned out to be a little bit complicated. Parts had to be ordered. I was really impressed by the attention to getting it done, the focus on getting the part in, and immediately getting a great technician out here (Michael) once the part was in hand. My outage experience had a bit of a rocky start but the owner personally stepped , came out to be sure he completely understood , and promised his complete attention. You can't ask for more than that. And thank you Michael....you were fabulous.

I have used Innovative Electric to maintain my home standby generator for two years now. They are easy to make an appointment with and show up right on time. I had Chuck this time and he was courteous, professional, and explained to me what he was doing, and any issues found. He worked quickly and left the area clean.

Innovative Electrical Contracting has been doing a great job on my generator maintenance for many years, the generator always starts when there is power failure. I recently bought a Tesla, Innovative installed the universal charger for me. it's another job perfectly done, very professional and thoughtful. Because my situation is kind of complicated, the garage and main breaker (at the basement) is far, Innovative had to send someone to come to my house to do the estimate, they guy is very professional and patient, found the best solution for my installation. the estimate is detailed and very reasonable, best of all, there is no Suprise during installation. I don't need to pay any extra. By the way, Innovative never pushed me to do anything extra since they started to service my generator from 2015. Highly recommend Innovative for any electrical work.

Innovative Electric has gone out of their way to ensure my generator was fully functioning ahead of a hurricane years ago. They were fully booked, but they made it work, true dedication which I will never forget. My standby generator has been serviced and maintained by Innovative for many years. They rewired the generator so it was finally not draining the battery, and came on as expected. The original installer had not wired it correctly.

I had a great experience with Innovative Electrical! I called the day before I needed a new outlet installed for a sump pump. They had availability, lucky me! Really nice person who I scheduled with. The electrician was prompt, friendly and professional. The job didn't take long and the pump is working fine. I'll definitely call them when we do our next big project.

Innovative installed a Kohler generator explaining every step of the way so I knew what to expect. They provided the paper work to my township and had certified professionals for the electric and gas hookups. This system had a true run when I had a short outage. I was so relieved that I had a generator installed.
