Elyse is it. She totally got my vision and was just a pleasure to work with. She's been in the industry for a while, and her wealth of knowledge is abundant. She was the only vendor to meet with me in person, which helped so much. I literally gasped when I saw my bouquet. I couldn't recommend Metro enough.

This location is very convenient drive for me and my girlfriend, if you come here do not expect a customer service experience. The associates there are really there to assist big ticket items or wholesale for your garden.

I would say this location is overpriced but only if you arrive on a day they don’t have a sale. Fortunately enough I arrived when they had a 40% off sale.

I’ve been to this location multiple of times, I never expect customer service because no one is ever to be found. But on my last visit, I finally found an associates and asked them if I can see some of the exotic plants and rudely said no. I looped around the rest of the store to see the same associate showing the exotic plants off to another couple

P.S. INSPECT YOUR PLANTS PRIOR TO BUYING. We found spider mites in my fiddle leaf fig

This is seriously one of the best garden stores that I’ve ever experienced (and I’ve experienced quite a few). It has a wonderful selection of indoor plants that are HEALTHY, appropriately matured, mostly insect free. You can find unique, non-cookie cutter pots that are durable, all of the fertilizer and treatments you could ever need. A variety of price points are well served. I’ve personally spent an ungodly amount of money here over the past year but it’s worth it. That serenity and fresh indoor air cannot be beat.

Great selection so nice to walk around. Rating because music was inappropriate and obnoxiously loud. I saw an older lady struggling to hear an employee because the music was blasting. I was there for about 2 hours and only saw an older person clientele. Have no idea why they’re choosing that music selection. Was in a rush to leave with my little one it was a weird vibe with the music

One of the best plant shops in the area with a great selection that often has great sales. Take advantage of the sales, trust me! With that being said I shop for very specific reason and it's not the plants. It's one of the best secrets in the area and his name is Alan. Alan is the plant expert there and is not only a genius, he's the most friendly guy I've met in a while. Alan has a wealth of knowledge of all plants and can probably help you bring plants back from the dead with his knowledge. He's the reason i love this place! 5 stars only because i cant give 6 because of him.

I've been coming here for years! It's my secret spot for those unique plants and bouquets. Highly recommend visiting and walking every inch of the property.

I got married this past weekend and I am beyond thrilled with the floral arrangements that Elyse from Metropolitan Plant & Flower Exchange provided! They were gorgeous. I got so many compliments from our guests. We had a small, intimate wedding. Elyse listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. I didn’t want the flowers to feel overly manicured or rounded. She did an amazing job of balancing the wildness that I wanted to capture with refinement. 10/10 would recommend

I love the flower selection here but service is disappointing. I waited for help but the girls continued to help other customers who walked in after me. I felt very unwelcome. The employees were proactively walking up to the other customers and asking if they needed help. I am unsure if it is a coincidence but all the customers after me were not Asian. I even tried to grab one of the employees attention but he walked right by me, not even taking a moment to pause or look at me. He just kept walking to the back fridge while saying “I don’t work here”. 2 out of 2 times I’ve been here, service was terrible.

This review is for the Fort Lee, NJ location. The place is huge and has an absolutely beautiful selection of flowers, herbs, vegetable plants, fruit plants/trees, shrubs, evergreens, and pretty much anything that grows. They ARE overpriced, but everything seems to be healthy and of beautiful quality. This would all be worth it IF they had the help their customers needed. The problem is that there is NO ONE to help guide you with any plant knowledge whatsoever. The place is enormous and you have to walk in circles to find anyone who works there, and once you do, they are unwilling, or don't know how, to help. In a garden center such as this, there should be at least 3 people within the store that have plant knowledge and another 2 or 3 people who can help with the rest of the store needs, ESPECIALLY during the busy weekend hours. It is ridiculous to me that they charge what they do for a plant, but have NO ONE working there to help you. I was ready to invest in an entire landscape design of my yard, but with not one employee willing or able to guide us on what would be best in the shade, what would be best in certain planters, or even show me where certain plants were located, we decided to scratch it and go somewhere else. We ended up just getting a few flowers and herbs and that's it. My advice, if you are placing yourself as a superior garden center and plant shop, than so should your service be.

This place offers a wide variety of plants and flowers, but it’s on the expensive side due to a lack of competition. I went to buy a birthday gift for my mom and asked the cashiers where the plant pots were. A woman who seemed to be the manager or the owner responded rudely and with a condescending tone, which I found very offensive. Is that how you treat your customers? I ended up buying something but her attitude was unacceptable and I won’t go back, I’ll go somewhere else next time.

We worked with Vanessa from Metropolitan Plant and Flower Exchange for our wedding. She was great to work with and we loved how our flowers came out.

Place is a wonderland. Tons of incredible plants and options available. Doesn’t get much better than this.

This is the best plant & flower center in the north east area,,,,, small to big size plants; a little costly but worth it.

I love looking at their beautiful plants and arrangement. Plants are quite expensive and these days we can get anywhere… Arrangements are also pricey but I borrow many ideas and make my own.

I must have purchased flowers here for birthdays, Mothers Day, etc for years. The recipient and I are always so pleased with how gorgeous the arrangements are. Thank you so

This place is amazing! You are transported to a beautiful, exotic, tropical paradise! They have an incredible selection of flowers, plants, trees, planters, etc. I don't know of any other place with this type of selection. It is great to just go snd browse, but you will find something you have to buy and it is also great for inspiration.
