This is the most horrible service, especially the office manager Gina. They show up to my house over 20 minutes late to clean and her excuse is that she called. I prove to the cleaners here no calls and still she continues to lie. Careful also the $75 deposit non refundable so you are stuck with them.
Get better, more trustworthy people to clean.

I am very disappointed with Merry Maids. First they overcharged us by half an hour, even though I was in the home and told them the exact hours they were here. They only refunded us for 15 if the extra 30 minutes.
After they left we discovered a $50 gift card that had been on my nightstand was missing. When we called to report this concern, they yelled at us saying it was impossible and without proof they won’t do anything about it.
We got this cleaning service as a splurge before the arrival of a new baby, and have been wildly disappointed by the dishonesty and poor customer service shown.

Yes, I will agree they are professional via phone which is what baited me, but its not worth the money- they charged $525 after I asked to cap at 3 hours of a cleaning in my contract ($375 for one floor of my house- 4 small bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) and then continued to make excuses afterwards for why they had go over even though contract stipulated stop at 3 hours. When I called to look at the contract, they offered no recompense. I’m pretty sure all these other awesome reviews are fake. You can get a much better value with independent cleaners, go elsewhere.

I was very happy to employ the services of Merry Maids for my brother who is unable to clean for himself. He was very pleased with the services. They bring their own cleaning supplies and equipment which makes everything so convenient. We’ll definitely be using the services again!

I have used Merry Maids for more then two years. They are wonderful. Dependable, I have the same terrific team every week per my request. They bring all of their own equipment and cleaning supplies. They are efficient and very thorough. I can’t say enough good things about these women.

I hired them for one time to clean my house. Have some concerns about cleaning they didn’t clean try to speak the office to explain. The girl was very rude unprofessional and telling me we are merry maid you don’t know who we are!!!!! And end up hanging up the phone on me. Really unprofessional, and no customer service or satisfaction.
I wouldn’t recommend at all.

This crew has been cleaning my home for about 8 months. They are quick. I work from home and they do not disturb me while working. I recommend them highly

Deep clean was ok, but weekly service was rushed and done just to move onto next job. Crumbs left on space between the stove and counter, pans left uncleaned, microwave door left with splattered food. For the money I paid I was hoping for more attention to detail.

The cleaning team did an amazing job! I have no complaints and truly appreciate their hard work. I plan to use this company every other month.

First time using Merry Maids! My 85 year old father lives alone and does not clean. Small apartment he lives in probably wasn’t cleaned in 5 years. Literally. I was sure the maids would come and say “no thank you”, but they didn’t. It took them 3 hours, but it needed a DEEP CLEAN, and they did an outstanding job, polishing furniture where you were sure they wouldn’t, cleaning bathroom, cleaning refrigerator. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier. I recommend the Merry Maids of Bergen County and look forward to to using them again. Thank you!

love Merry Maids. Very professional, detailed, excellent job with cleaning bathrooms and kitchen. Hardwood floors come out the best when they do it. I have tried many types of wood floor cleaners but they never shine the way Merry Maids does it. same with bathroom floors. Highly recommend them.

We have been using Merry Maids for over one year now once a month, and have found it to be a reliable and good cleaning service. We have a duplex two bedroom 2 1/2 bath Townhouse. The two women who usually come to clean our house are always pleasant, and hard-working. It sometimes feels a bit rushed, but if anything doesn’t look like it was done thoroughly, I point it out and they are very good about fixing it. I approach cleaning services from the standpoint that no one will ever clean your house exactly the way you would if you had the time. I find Gina, who handles customer relations, to be an absolute gem. We have had to make many schedule changes and she always accommodates us. She is easily reachable and very professional in my experience. We tip our cleaners on each visit and at the holidays to show our appreciation for their hard work.
