One of the best electrical supplies I have ever used. The counter is great. With quick service and great prices.

Underwhelming experience. Had called them a day before to confirm the availability of a specific ballast I was looking for and they confirmed its availability. When I went to the store, they didn't have it and the guy selling it had no clue about ballasts.

the customer service in this store is a zero you have employees that are rude the older gentlemen in there i was trying to explain an issue an he was like i don't know who you talking to i was i was like you you asked a quit ion why am i returning the part i was sold something that was not up to code and they are tying to say it is then the employee walked away and said talk to someone else i would not recommend this company their older staff claims to know it all and are just plain old rude i would spend my money elsewhere don't waste your time on companies like these with inadequate employee and very poor customer satisfaction

I have an old breaker box and one of the breakers opened up and as a result the power went out in our kitchen. I went to Home Depot, Lowe’s, and to another hardware store to locate the correct breaker to replace. I did not find a matching breaker in any of these stores. I finally went to City Electric Supply a little sheepishly since they deal with professionals on a daily basis, all I needed was a single breaker for an old breaker box. I waited about 5 minutes to get to speak to someone behind the counter. I showed him a photo of the breaker I needed, because I did not know how to replace it. He came back with the breaker; I paid for it and before leaving the counter asked how to replace it in the box. He gave me instructions; It only took a minute. When I got home, it took me all of five minutes to replace the breaker and turn the power back on in the kitchen.

We didn’t purchase anything from the store but I would like to share a great service from the people who works there. We’ve been walking from the liberty state park port after we did a Statue of Liberty tour. There were no taxi around the area and our phones doesn’t have any signal. We have approached a lot of people along the way asking for directions on how we can go back to the cruise port but nobody bothered to help us until we approached two guys from this store. We were all freezing as we are not used to this amount of cold (we are from the sunny part of Asia 😅). Not only did they called an uber using their phone, they let us inside a dining area at the back of their store to keep us warm, and they waited until the car arrived even when they are already close. I forgot to get their names but if I remember it correctly, they are father and son. Such a great people! Thank you so much for helping us.

Zero customer service, I called in with a full description for an item that I needed, and the guy confirmed that he had it.
My friend drove for half an hour, and then he told me I don't have it with an attitude. I tried to call him again, and he literally said I don't have it. Have a good day, and he He hanged up on me.

I work in film and television. End of day last minute I needed a breaker to do something. On a holiday 3 day weekend. This place was 5th in line with google maps, and my last call. When in the area it will be my first. A woman answered the phone. I was so grateful they answered , and immediately felt like family. The yard was busy. I walked in and the store was busy and I was greeted right away.

Extremely professional with great service

There are a couple of electric vehicles which are stealing electricity ( via the regular multi purpose sockets ) at the new Oliver Apartment building complex garage on Chapel Avenue. One tesla sedan has been doing this continuously for over a month now on the fifth floor and another one currently doing so intermittently on the second or the third floor of the garage as well.

This unauthorized theft of electricity is easily going to reflect itself in the bills the residents here pay for their electricity. So how exactly should this problem be addressed and corrected? I reached out to one of the main employees here. But it either seems that they don't care or they can't do anything about this anyway based uoon the level of their position. However there is no one else beyond them to report the issue to. So perhaps would you be able to intervene in contacting the necessary authority here to have this problem rectified? Thank you.
