Constraction reviews in Linden, New Jersey

ESPJ did a fantastic job with my patio and stairs and the entire experience was excellent! Geovani, Jefferson, Elizabeth and the rest of the ESPJ team were just amazing!

Geovani really delivers what he promises! He is very knowledgeable and helped us finalize and fill in any holes we had on our design and answered all of our questions and provided value with his in-depth experience and knowledge about pavers and the entire process. He even provided suggestions and executed on them by ensuring our neighbors yards don’t get flooded from our project.

Jefferson and team are hands down the best I have seen at executing designs and building patios and stairs. Jefferson’s work is amazing and everyone that has seen our patio and stairs have loved them! He is a true artist to say the least and is invaluable! He is a superstar!

Elizabeth is an amazing project manager. She made sure deadlines were met and helped answer all of our questions along the way. She can quickly adapt and provide results when an audible is called. On the last day of the project we did not like the riverstones we had picked out because after laying them down we decided they were actually not what we wanted. We told Elizabeth and Geovani our concerns and after running across 3-4 places Elizabeth was able to get the stones we liked. Not only was she super in making sure she delivered on our new ask in a timely fashion, but she rolled up her sleeves and helped the team out by cleaning all several hundred stones herself to make sure when they were laid the area would not get dirty.

All in all, ESPJ gets a 5 star rating from me based on the experience I had and the amazing job they did. I have recommended them to my neighbors and now my neighbor will be contacting them to get their patio done. I highly recommend ESPJ to do your next project!

Well done Geovani, Jefferson, Elizabeth and the entire ESPJ team!

From the owners, Geovani & Darwin; project scheduler, Veronica; site manager, Elizabeth & the entire crew made my backyard pool escape come to life. The pool was put in last November & sat all winter surrounded by mud. It was hard to imagine what could be done to make the pool "pop". Geovani understood that I didnt want an entire backyard of concrete & gave me exactly what I wanted & that would work for my yard. Everyone in the company communicates with each other & the homeowner from start to finish. They care about their customers & have their best interests at heart.
Thank you for all your hardwork.

ESPJ did a terrific job on repairing/replacing the tiles in our pool. It was a pleasure working with them from day one.
Extremely responsive and the gentlemen working were meticulous in their craft.
I would highly recommend them.

I’ve been using ESPJ for over five years now and appreciate their operation. Started with sealing my stamped concrete patio and continued with the design and build of my dream outdoor fireplace. Geovani answers my requests in minutes and follows through with high quality work, while sticking to timeline commitments. Can’t say this about many contractors but, he has earned my trust and long-term business.

Highly recommend ESPJ Construction Corp. Recently completed my fourth project working with Judd Mandel.

Projects include:
paver patio with fireplace
hand carved tiki style poles with overhead string lighting
front porch/stair replacement with lighting
stone flower bed and adjacent walkway with lighting

Judd and his crew perform high quality work, are customer focused and pay attention to the details needed to complete a project.

"Our stamped concrete looks beautiful! We love the old cobblestone
look. Geovani and his team were knowledgeable, professional, and
hardworking. We made a few changes along the way and it was always
easy to get in touch... thank you for your patience! ESPJ went above
and beyond to ensure our patio was exactly what we wanted and even
helped us out disposing of some junk in the garage. All timelines were
met, weather permitting, and we couldn't be happier with the result.
Thank you so much!"

ESPJ did a wonderful job on my home. They did a concrete overlay on my sidewalk that came out perfect. They laid stamped concrete on my old driveway and walkway that looks amazing. If you are looking for professional upscale concrete work i highly recommend ESPJ.

We had ESPJ install about 1500 SQ Ft of stamped concrete patio around our new pool. Giovanni the proprietor was easy to deal with, and forthcoming with all the information. The job came out nicely, and they put down the whole deck in two days total. They had 7 guys working at the sight not counting the truck drivers. I am sure that smaller companies with smaller staff would have taken much longer. Also Giovanni did not hesitate to offer some small touch up at the end that will make the whole job just perfect. Thank you!

Highly recommended! From beginning to end, ESPJ Construction did a great job installing a pool patio in our backyard. Professionally done with hard working people that are knowledgeable, polite and considerate. They never steered us wrong, from choosing colors to the layout- it was a seamless project. Kudos to Giovanni and Darwin!

I was thrilled with the work that ESPJ Construction did on our patio We had an inground fiberglass pool installed and ESPJ Construction did all the concrete work & pavers. Our patio looks amazing! They went above and beyond and we would highly recommend Giovanni and his team. The crew was professional and courteous.

I've visited ESPJ twice delivering their supplies from Texas. My experiences delivering in New Jersey & New York are usually 99.9 percent unpleasant . Negative attitude from receivers, dirty looks from lazy dock workers when you walk in, arguments about appointment time ( you show up 1 minute early you're too early & 1 minute late you're too late). ESPJ is the exception , good and friendly people ( from the owner to the ladies in the office & technicians).
Truck drivers do not make a penny if wheels are not spinning( truck not moving). So, seeing Elizabeth ( a manager ) hustle to unload my trailer ( by hand ) & get me back on the road within 30 minutes really left me with a good impression of that company , so much so that my 2nd time delivering there, I decided to show respect & courtesy, hopped in the trailer and worked rather than watch her working.
ESPJ is lucky to have her. She's the kind of manager & personality I would compete for if I had a business to run.
The location is not ideal for big trucks ( narrow streets, congestion, limited space ) ,but as long as Elizabeth is in charge of the receiving, it is by far ( from a driver's point of view) my favorite place to deliver ( in North Jersey). She gets you to your next load fast. That makes my day productive and my over the road trucker's life a little easier. Thank you.

My project was a little bit different! Instead of stamping around a pool area, I had an entire concrete walkway redone and stamped along with removal and installation of new Front Steps. The entire process was done with different teams and everyone did an outstanding job. Each team of workers cleaned up after themselves. I did not give 5 stars as there were a number of times where communication did not occur as to when the next step of the project would start when I had asked of this in advance. The back-office team of Elizabeth and Maria were especially helpful. I would definitely use ESPJ Construction again, and have already provided their info to friends and neighbors!

I can’t say enough good things about these guy's. I don’t write many reviews but these guys deserve recognition. They did a stamped concrete project for us and the work was first class all the way. We had our pool redone at the same time by Anthony Sylvan and had it not been for Darwin from ESPJ I don’t think the pool would have come together or been done right. They were always on time, professional and pleasant and they answered all my crazy questions and were fantastic to work with. I thought workmanship like this was lost but ESPJ restored my faith. Couldn’t be happier with them!

excellent workmanship, on time, on budget--they built my patio around the pool. The company personify excellence

These days it’s hard to find a reputable and trustworthy company. ESPJ construction is a professional and honest group to work with. They have the experience to handle all of your concrete needs. I still smile when I walk on my stamped concrete patio that they installed 3 years ago and get lots of compliments. I didn’t second guess myself on who to call when I needed another concrete job completed for my home.

I used ESPJ Construction for my 'pool in a day' experience and they were great. Not only are the different crews great to work with, but they are also artists in their work. From framing my pool surround to pouring the concrete and then finishing the concrete pour to make my project look like something out of a magazine. Their office staff, in particular, Veronica, works with you every step of the way, from beginning to end. They were so good; I am planning to get my 20' x 30' patio done by them next Spring.
Thanks, ESPJ!

I want to give a huge thank you to Geovani and his team for their outstanding customer service and the beautiful concrete work they did around my pool. Their communication throughout the process was top-notch, which made everything so smooth. I highly recommend Geovani and his team for any current or future projects you may have. They’ve definitely earned my trust, and I’ll be calling them again for any future work. Thanks again, Geovani and team! Tony

We are so pleased with our new patio, pool and retaining wall. Giovanni delivered what he said he promised. He explained and helped us in all of our decisions and responded to all of our concerns promptly.

ESPJ Construction is a professional and honest company that I would highly recommend! They not only do meticulous work, but have come back twice to touch up areas that required it.

Giovanni and his team power washed and stained our backyard stamped concrete to restore the original color and shine, as well as repairing the blue stone front entrance which was chemically stained by another company. They also reconstructed our front step pavers last summer after years of erosion.

This year two of the steps loosened after animals burrowed underneath and Giovanni sent his team back to correct the problem within a week. It's incredibly hard to find an honest company that not only guarantees their work, takes pride in their work and cares about retaining loyal customers. They truly came through on that promise!

100% will use them again and would recommend their services for any of your outdoor needs!

ESPJ did a fantastic job. They installed stamped cement walkway around our pool with a pad for entertaining and walkway to a shed pad. I would recommend ESPJ Construction to friends and family. They where very knowledgeable and professional in there work.

One of the best companies I've ever dealt with. The workmanship is excellent from start to finish. They installed a stamped concrete patio around my pool , a stone stair case , and a beautiful fire pit for us. A family owned company that cares about their customers . I would recommend this company highly to anyone looking to do any concrete work at their home or business.
