Best cleaning service in the area. Tom was very efficient and very professional.

Machines are noisy...workers leave them running even when not in use.

Steve is outstanding. Over the years, I often admired how he established and grew this business. He and his team are now a large provider, with considerable depth. They provide high quality work, whether yard maintenance or larger irrigation or hardscaping (we would not use anyone else for these projects).

Unfortunately, the experience for those that actually look at quotes and invoices is adversely affected by incessant aggressive billing that does not always correlate to the time and materials applied to the project.

We appreciate that there are costs involved that we do not always think of as homeowners (compensation and benefits, training, fleet and equipment, insurance, maintaining inventory, guarantees on work). More broadly, we recognize that Simonfay seeks a premium for high quality.

So overall, in my experience, Simonfay is a high cost provider. The quality and team are “excellent.” It seems to me that Simonfay’s overhead and profit expectations may both be excessive. Just my opinion here.

When I moved from Manhattan to the burbs I had a long list of hesitations. One of the biggest ones was leaving behind my NYC backyard (Central Park) to owning my very own backyard. I had no idea how to care for it. All I knew was that grass should always be thick and green. Our lawn when we bought the house was not that. It was brown and patchy. After working with two landscapers that did not help the lawn or my mental state by asking questions, I knew nothing about, I found Simonfay. They turned my lawn into Central Park in a few months. I personally enjoy speaking with Lisa at their office and feel zero judgment about how little I know about lawn care. I look forward to many years under their care for my landscaping needs.

Can’t say enough about Simonfay.Their crews are skilled and professional - and best of all - friendly. Love that many of them have been working at our house since we moved in 18 years ago.Simonfay has done everything on our property from a full landscape redesign when we moved into our home… to their meticulous twice a year pruning… to weekly mowing and
fall leaf removal… they’ve solved drainage issues and have decorated our
home for the holidays… It’s a rarity to find a landscaper like Simonfay that has both the landscape vision and deep knowledge of plantings, as well as the staff in place to properly maintain a property… And, last but not least - such a well-organized,
helpful office staff that makes billing and last-minute changes a breeze. :)

I chose to hire Simonfay Landscaping services for a large backyard renovation after evaluating multiple vendors. Steve and his team aligned to “my vision,” far beyond the others. Admittedly, Steve’s vision was my vision…I really didn’t even have to tell him. He saw the yard as I saw the yard. That made the decision, and that made the decision easy. From there, I worked with Steve’s team on many of the specialty details wanted for the project. We have dogs, and needed to yard to be fenced in. We needed specialty plantings that were pet friendly. We also wanted indigenous foliage, and a “pro-pollinator” thought process behind all the plantings.

The project included fencing, sprinklers, lighting, changing the landscape topology, and plantings and Steve’s team offered one-stop shop for all the different needs. The end result, a complete realization of what I had in my head. The yard is always in bloom in multiple sections, the rock wall and fence provides the perfect perimeter to the property that allows all the colorful foliage to really shine. The lighting lights up the entire backyard so we can enjoy all the plantings and large rock compliments at night and fully integrates into my existing smart home system. I don’t have to worry about watering, the sprinkler system is intelligent and waters as needed, when needed.

Steve, his designers, and project managers were a pleasure to deal with. They listened to all my wants, and needs, and addressed all my concerns. The field staff was professional and respectful of my property and the workmanship was top notch.

I get nothing but compliments from the neighbors, we love to out in our new yard enjoying the beauty of it….and most importantly…THE DOGS LOVE IT!!! Would work with Simonfay again in a heartbeat!!!

The best decision we made when we bought our house in 2020 was hiring Steve and his team to take care of all our landscaping needs. Simonfay are full service and the best in the business! They are knowledgeable, trustworthy, kind, dependable and always leave our house looking beautiful.
Steve and his team take care of everything at our house from landscaping, outdoor lighting, holiday lights and decor, snow removal and even built our beautiful outdoor bluestone patio and kitchen. They can do it all!

We are so grateful to have found Steve and his team for our major yard and driveway renovation project. After buying our house in Chatham a few years ago, we had to partner with so many contractors for various home improvement projects and my husband and I agree wholeheartedly that Steve was the best one we've come across! He's responsive, brings and implements great ideas, is honest, and has done very high quality work. We have already received so many compliments on how great our front and back yard look and it isn't even spring yet!

Well priced and reliable lawn care service.

We been using Keegan for years. It started with him and his crew mowing our lawn. Then we did some remodeling and we used his dumpster removal service. Fast forward to last fall and we used his Christmas lighting services. He is easy to work with and we trust him. Many times when he does extras we just have him do it without quoting as we have that trust in them.

Best landscaper ever. Wouldn't choose anyone else.

John provides great lawn maintenance and is very reasonable. Easy to contact and communicate with.

Contacted the owner in mid June by phone. Spoke to him at length about what my lawn needs were, indicating where I lived as well. John, the owner, indicated he couldn't make it on Saturday, as he had a few jobs he was trying to get to, but that I should send my contact info to his phone by text. He confirmed his phone. A couple days later I sent my first text to him with my contact information asking when he could come by.
No answer.
A couple of days later I sent another text to him asking when he could come by for an estimate.
No answer.
Sent another text a couple days later.
Still, no answer.
Then i went to the website and submitted a form for a free estimate/consultation.
No one got back to me.
Horrible the way these landscapers think our time is not as valuable as theirs.
Will not recommend him in the future.

Excellent job & very careful considering the Sprinkler piping throughout the 80 foot drainage dig. They were well coordinated and left a very clean & good looking result.
