Richard Taylo Plumbing & Heating was referred to me by a family member in the contracting business over 10 years ago. I have have used Mr. Taylo's company for big and small jobs in my home and have always been satisfied with their quality of work, price, and value.

Rich and team are very responsive and professional. My largest project with them was replacing a steam boiler in my house. I was especially impressed with the care taken in removal of the old boiler. Excellent workmanship.

They took my messy builder installed plumbing and cleaned it up and also installed an irrigation water meter. They were fast and reasonably priced. Communication was excellent. Very happy with their service.

Not a big fan of the cloud of pot smoke surrounding the Taylo truck working at my neighbors house.

When my very old hot water tank started leaking, I called 5 different plumbers to urgently help. Only one called back (!!!) and that was Taylo Plumbing. They were at my house within 45 minutes of the call, with a brand new tank at a reasonable price (less than PSEG had offered). They did great work and cleaned up afterward so that my utility room was cleaner after they left than when they arrived! Everyone was so professional and friendly, from the person I spoke to on the phone to all the workers doing the job. I’ll definitely be using them for all my future plumbing and heating needs. Thank you!

Edited to add: I used Taylo Plumbing again, this time for a water softener and kitchen faucet installation. Awesome service once again. They’re definitely my go-to plumbing service for my new home!

Rich is an ethical plumber in an unethical world. He gets back to you in seconds. He checked up on my 82 year old mother-in-law’s pilot light all weekend to make sure did not come off again. Mind you he doesn’t work weekends. He’s smart. This is HOW you make the big money. You build loyalty. We always need a plumber, and now we have Rich!!

Don’t hire if you want the installer of your boiler and radiant heating system to return to service/troubleshoot your/their system. Despite installing our system during a major renovation, we received the following response from Taylo when we reached out for help, “we are focusing on plumbing these days - installs, repairs, renovations…we are referring Ron Jon heating and cooling for heating & HVAC.”

On a referral from a neighbor I called them to fix my kitchen faucet/valve underneath. Brian came out on the same day, and did an awesome job. Professional work and a good price. Would use them again.

Mike and his crew are all around amazing! Knowledgeable, great at their trade and just genuine good guys. We’ve had Lepore here for a number of projects - outdoor grill gas line, new hot water heater..etc and have been super happy every time. Would highly recommend.

I found Lepore through a request in Angi. I submitted my HVAC request and received 5 contractors. I only dealt with 4 of them, as the name brand Sears didn't resonate with me.

2 of the 4 contractors tried to up sell me on the replacement system while 2 others provided what I would consider a very fair price with options. I went with Mike because he was the owner and dealt directly with me. He was very detailed, gave options and followed up with all of my questions. Once we agreed on the project, it was a very quick turn and the job was done within a full day. The new system works great and he was able to fix a few other minor venting issues that my prior service provider overlooked.

I would recommend using Mike Lepore for your HVAC needs. Support small business, fair priced, very detailed and delivers on the job.
