Mason's had rebuilt my fireplace box with a Rumford style firebox 8 years ago. They were on time, worked neatly, and the workmanship was excellent. They delivered on all of my expectations with the final product. Since then, I have used them on other projects and I will definitely use them again and again.

They were great! Gave me a quote. Showed up when they said they would. Did the job. Charged me the quoted price. It looks great. No more leaking. I really love the fact that it's a family business and they've been in business for many years. I would highly recommend Mason's Chimney Service.

We called Mason's Chimney Service to clean our chimney. Ed and Rich cleaned the chimney and then inspected the chimney. They found some problems that needed to be repaired. They sent us an estimate to repair the problems, which we accepted. Mason's Chimney Service is a very professional company. They respected our home and made sure we were satisfied with their work when they were finished. We certainly would recommend them to anyone in need of their services. We will be using them again.

Mason's is an outstanding chimney service - the best around. If you need service they are the ones to call. Ed and Rich just serviced my fireplace - it looks like a new unit - clean and ready to go. In addition they are extremely clean, putting down drop cloths from the moment they enter and wrap them up on leaving to prevent dirt. I wouldn't think of using anyone else!

Very knowledgeable and professional. They cleaned out my fireplace and chimney. They made sure everything was safe with the camera. They even took the time to show me how to turn on the gas to light my fireplace since I just moved into my house a month ago. Rich also explained I had the wrong size grate and took a picture inside the fireplace of the serial number and recommended a local company to purchase the correct size.

I have been dealing with Mason's Chimney Service for many years. They responded very quickly to an issue with the chimney in my former home which was leaking during rain storms. During the inspection they discovered a significant defect that was a potential safety issue. The problem was fixed to my complete satisfaction for exactly the amount of money they estimated. Three years ago I moved into a new home and I have continued to use them here for dryer vent cleanings. I have a rather complicated twisty dryer vent and they carefully and efficiently cleaned it out, leaving my laundry room in good, clean conditions even though they had to move the washer and dryer (in a very tight space) to get to the vent. I have recommended them to my neighbors and everyone is very happy with their work, professional attitudes, excellent customer service and fair pricing. I highly recommend them!

Our fireplace was completely unusable! After a terrible experience with another company, we called Masons. Great Decision! They came, they saw, they fixed. They torn down our old chimney and replaced it. Then they took out our fireplace and created a beautiful new stone fireplace. It took us a while for them to schedule us in because they are busy, but after the job completion, we can truly say it was "Worth the Wait." Professional, on time, good clean up and GREAT JOB!!! We couldn't be happier!

I recently called Mason's Chimney Service to replace a chimney cap, fix the fireplace damper and also clean the fireplace chimney. They did a great job in getting everything fixed and cleaned as expected, and also pointed out some other areas that could use attention in the future. Mason's are absolute pros at identifying issues, and craftsmen when it comes to fixing them. We initially contacted Mason's for a cleaning/inspection but they noticed that the brick facade was pulling away from the wall. When they came out to tear down and rebuild the facade they discovered other serious issues in the wall. There were acorns stashed on/around the interior parts of the fireplace and there was not enough clearance between the fireplace and the surrounding structures (the fireplace was added some time in the 70's after the home was built). Insulation was also falling down and touching the fireplace structure inside the wall. Mason's entirely rebuilt the fireplace and interior brick facade in less than a week. They installed a smaller fireplace because they felt that the existing size was overkill based on the size of the room. They also installed additional insulation inside the wall for better efficiency. We wanted to preserve the original look of the fireplace and they were able to conserve and reuse most of the original brick. Any added brick was blended in seamlessly. They also took pictures before deconstruction and were sure to put the mantle, shelf, and hooks exactly where they were before. Rich and Ed were punctual and took great care to keep our home clean. They are also animal lovers and took every measure to keep our cats safe and secure during the construction process.

We will never use anyone other than Mason's Chimney again!.

We called upon Mason's to perform our chimney cleaning and inspection this year, and boy are we glad we did!. Their honesty, qualifications, experience and video services saved the lives of my family and our house. Their survey revealed evidence of a chimney fire that we would not have known of had it not been for their video services. The fire caused cracks along our flu liner that would have allowed heat transfer to the interior structure.

So bad was it that they advised us to not use the chimney any longer until it was properly restored. They wrote a very professional report including all the proper photo evidence, along with proof of their licenses and certifications which I submitted to my insurance company, who promptly accepted the claim. They spent several days removing the old and installing the new. Their operations were so clean that my wife and I are not able to tell that they were ever in my house or on my property.

They are extremely polite, responsive, and professional. Lastly, the finished product is first rate, our new fire pace burns wonderfully and best of all I know my family and house are now safe once again!

It’s taken me a while to post this review (sorry Ed!). Mason’s did a FANTASTIC job removing the old insert that wasn’t to code, putting in a new liner in the chimney, and a new wood burning insert. I couldn’t be happier with their work. This is a true family run operation and everyone was friendly and courteous. Ed’s brother even helped me remove a stripped screw from another project I was working on. I cannot recommend this company enough!

I can't recommend Mason's Chimney service highly enough. They rebuilt and capped our crumbling chimney stack, and lined the chimney of our three story home from the top of our very steep roof. They were consummately professional and took great pride in the work they do. They were always courteous and friendly. They began and finished the job within the time frame they estimated, and kept the job site clean and safe for the duration of the work. Their price was more than fair for the quality of the work they do. Don't hesitate to hire them to work on your chimney!

Mason's Chimney Service is awesome! We have been living in our current home for 2 years and are finally getting around to having the chimney checked so we can use it this fall/winter. We contacted Mason's because many customers gave them a great review, plus they are local to us. When they got here and started checking things out, they said some things needed to be replaced. They are going to send an estimate for that work. When I asked how much they would be charging me today to come out, they said $0. I was amazed - they took the time to put down drop cloths and bring in some equipment. I felt as though they should be paid for their time, but they wouldn't accept any money today. They were also great with our dogs! I totally recommend this company for their honesty and professionalism!

Mason's Chimney has been cleaning my wood burning stove for over ten years. I recently added the dryer vent service, which I love. This morning Ed and Marty arrived at my home to perform a cleaning and a Level II inspection. They were on time and went to great length to place drop cloths to protect my carpeting. The cleaning and inspection were completed promptly and without any mess left behind. Having done customer service work my entire career and taking great pride in providing great customer service, these gentlemen were a pleasure to have in my home. Our contact with Mason's Chimney Services began last Fall when we were interested in increasing the safety and heat efficiency of a fireplace in our family room. They recommended a Napoleon wood insert and we were thrilled with the results.
Our favorite fireplace in the house, however, was one located in the original core of our home built around 1735. We had been told a decade or so ago it was unsafe to use. We wanted to retain the outer appearance of the fireplace, but restore it to usability again. Ed and Rich suggested an Ahrens firebox restoration. The original look and charm of the fireplace remains but with all the workings replaced we can now operate it with a peaceful mind.
Mason's was back today to install another Napoleon wood insert into our third and final working fireplace. This one is located in a room that is cold in the winter and where we are not in constant attendance. The safety and heat efficiency will be appreciated there also!

Ed and Rich from Mason's Chimney Service installed our fireplace insert ten years ago, and they've been servicing it every year since then. They are knowledgeable in their field and always do a thorough job inspecting and cleaning our chimney. (Their family has been in the business for a long time; their father used to service my in-laws' chimney years ago.) Aside from being professionals who take pride in their work, they are really great guys who we've enjoyed getting to know over the years. We highly recommend them!

This company is amazing!! Stand up guys full of integrity-So kind, professional, reliable, knowledgeable and personable! They came on time, did exactly what they said they would and more! They began by putting a protective covering on the floor and cleaned the chimney. They even infuse natural Bees oil into the hepa filter so my entire house smelled so good. They informed me that my vent was broken out back. Some companies would of probably taken this an opportunity to charge you good amount to fix. They said run to Home Depot it’s super cheap and only four screws. They knew my husband and I could do that ourselves, quickly with no problem for hardly any money. I appreciated their feedback and honesty.
***Extra - my door handle had been broken for about week and half. They noticed it as they came in and I didn’t even realize that when Ed was cleaning the chimney, his brother fixed my door! No charge, nothing in return, just because they are nice people. I’ll be using this company in future and highly recommend them to anyone for any service done they provide.
