10/10! Made everything super easily and simple for myself. Ed was super knowledgeable and provided great insight on our chimney.

We first called on Mason's Chimney Service years ago when our fireplace became unusable. They identified the problem, fixed it perfectly and we've used their service ever since to keep the fireplace clean and safe. Stacey answers the phone for the business and sets up appointments. She is friendly and helpful, always a pleasure to talk to. Rich and Ed are professional, courteous, honest and reliable. While working they take all precautions to keep the work area clean. They work thoroughly and will take the time to answer questions and give advice on getting the most from your fireplace. I would not hesitate to recommend their services. A great longtime family owned business, providing quality work and customer service the way it should be.

I had Mason’s inspect our chimney and they did a very thorough job. They explained their concerns with words and photos, and provided options to correct the issues. Rich, Stacey and Ed were all very knowledgeable—and nice people too! I was impressed with the quality of their work, as well as how careful they were to keep my home clean amidst the soot. The most important thing about your home is that it is safe, and after their visit, I feel confident that my fireplace is now sound!

We are very happy we hired Mason’s Chimney Service. We had Mason’s rebuild the top half of our chimney, replace the firebox with an Ahren-Fire firebox, and install a stainless steel flue liner. We also had them remove an unused furnace chimney, which included filling the hole in the roof where the chimney had been. They did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to work with. We were extremely impressed with Ed’s knowledge and expertise. He knew more about fire codes and safety standards than other contractors we spoke with and he anticipated some issues specific to our chimney. If we had gone with another contractor, we would have either sacrificed safety or been charged for additional work that Ed already accounted for during his initial visit. I’d highly recommend their services.

Mason’s was recommended by a good friend. She’s been using them for many years. The owner arrived on time and his inspection was detailed. Safety concerns were explained and detailed information about the recommendations was articulated in a way that we could easily understand. My husband and I bought an older home that we renovated and recently learned that the fireplace was not functional. Rich & Ed came highly recommended to us by neighbors, as well as contractors in the area. They promptly responded to my husband's email asking them to come inspect our fireplace and quickly diagnosed the issues. Throughout the entire project they were efficient, professional, punctual and NEAT. After they completed the job, I ran my vacuum and there literally was nothing to clean. Each day, they cleaned up after themselves and were also very careful with their machinery and the safety of our home. They are extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable about chimney/fireplace issues. Overall, we are really happy with our decision to use Mason's and are excited to now be able to use our beautiful fireplace. :-)

Friendly, informative, answered any question I asked. Checked to make sure the birds that had taken up residence in my chimney were gone and installed a cap to prevent any others from coming back. Definitely recommend them and will have them come back to remove old insert and install new one.

1/26/2022 Mason's Chimney Service replaced my old fireplace insert today. Did a great job and left no mess. Highly recommend them! Honest, friendly, informative and super knowledgeable!

We highly recommend Mason’s Chimney Service. They found a dangerous structural issue that a previous company that inspected our chimney did not. Mason’s repaired the issue, then installed a Ahren Fire system and new gas log set. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. They are detail oriented and communicated with us throughout the entire job. We appreciated that they kept their work area outdoors and inside the home very clean and protected. We couldn’t be happier with our new fireplace and are relieved that the flaw was found. This could have prevented a very devastating situation. We are so grateful. After experiencing a chimney fire which, luckily, we were able to extinguish, we called Mason's to come and inspect. Ed, using video technology was able to show us the exact location and extent of the damage. We decided to have the entire chimney torn down and rebuilt new brick by brick from the ground up. Ed, Rich, Nate and Gavin working as a team accomplished this with beautiful results and installed a vastly superior flue system and stovepipe than what we had previously.
It was a pleasure to know these guys and have them on our property and in our home working everyday for three weeks until the job was completed. They were very respectful and cheerful and cleaned up at the end of each day so that one would never know they'd even been here!
We will continue to use Mason's Chimney Service, a family owned business since 1955, for future cleaning and inspection and highly recommend them for any work involving fireplace, chimney or ducts.

Rich and Ed were great from the start with explaining what and how they were going to do. They were very forthcoming with their timeframe. They cleaned up the job everyday inside and out. They answered all questions throughout the construction process as well as procured all required permits. These guys are definitely old school and believe in taking care of the customer and respecting the customer and their home.I would very highly recommend them to anyone. They did excellent work - see attached photos.

My wife and I bought a lovely older home. It had been empty from a foreclosure for several years and we bought from a flipper. We decided to have a thorough inspection of the fireplace (and glad we did). Ed explained in great detail why it wasn't safe to operate and provided a comprehensive proposal to do a complete overhaul.

We are SO happy with the work performed by Ed and Rick, brothers carrying on the family business. Top notch materials, and expert installation by a friendly, knowledgeable and professional team. I echo what everyone else says about their clean-up, it was amazing. Each day, they cleaned up meticulously and when they were finished, there was no trace they had ever been there. I will continue using them for maintenance and cleaning in the future, and can't recommend them more highly for any needs you have for your fireplace!
