These guys are the go to company for tree work. All brothers. Professional. Showed up early. They don't fool around. Had a 40 foot Ash taken down right near near the house. No damage to my deck! Cleaned up my neighbors yard without me having to ask. Couldn't be happier.

ZERO consideration for their customers neighbors. They came flying down my block making a ton of noise at 7am. Pretty sure they shouldn’t even be starting till 8am as per the township.

Wow! These guys are over the top great. They removed 26 trees from property in a half day and except for the trees being gone you'd never know they were there. They were very polite , worked in a safe manner and have awesome equipment. Highly recommend.

This is the 2nd time i have used them. Brian is great. the entire team just took down my tree is 30 minutes. from start to done with clean up. Would recommend them to everyone.

I was looking to get an estimate on multiple trees removal on my property and RDK tree service was recommended to me. Called and spoke to customer service the first time March 30. Took all my information and assured me someone will be contacting me..... No one called back! Multiple phone calls and also sent email and still no one got back to me. Called almost two weeks after my first phone call and again customer service said someone will call back. But till now I haven’t heard from anyone from this company! Don’t waste your time calling to this company, very poor to respond. Stay away!

I did not know the full scope of my options concerning a troubling tree issue, and he explained everything with a passion and professionalism that was greatly appreciated. We have used RKD Tree Services twice now and have been very happy with their work. The price was not the cheapest or the most expensive. We will use them again in the future. We can not say a bad thing about them. They were great to work with.

I had a tree fall in my yard on top of my pool equipment and the company was so quick to respond to my call and arrive. Their pricing was fair that while they were there, had them take down a tree we’ve been wanting to remove. They did this professionally and quickly, even in the rain. DEFINITELY recommend them!

Scheduled a quote for tree removal. Was given a window of 11am to 1pm. At 1:05pm nobody has arrived. Contacted Brian who told me he came down with COVID and was unable to come. Offered to call his foreman to come out.
Infuriating as he was clearly out and about with noise in the background on the phone. No concern for anyones time.

i have two words for RKD - UNRELIABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. after the initial walk-through i was told i'd be given a call within a 2 -3 week period with a 3 hour window for the work to be done the following day, but that call never came. when i called back to complain the day after the 3rd week had passed i got a call back that evening - where the person who did the walk though apologized and told me somehow my work order had gotten "lost". he then said it was too late in the week to do the work that week (it was a wednesday evening) but would have it done the following week. but the following week came and went with no call all week long - until friday afternoon. seriously??? i was told the work would be done on saturday, and it finally was - nearly 5 weeks after having had the walk through. by that time i had missed the window for my landscaper to do planting i had planned, so that was a big disappointment. but besides that, being told that you'd get a call sometime over a 2 - 3 week window to do the work within a 3 hour window the following day is not exactly convenient or practical. you basically can't schedule or do anything in case that's going to be the day they're going to do the work, and then to not receive the call was frustrating to say the least. then on top of that, to be apologetically told it would be handled the following week - and then to again not be able to schedule or do anything all week - and then receive a call the afternoon of the last business day of the week - well, i found this insulting. this company displays a serious lack of reliability and professionalism, to say the least. the work (two stumps needed to be ground) was done adequately, but there was a lot of dirt strewn around my front door and left for me to clean up by the workmen. what a disappointing experience. i'm in a local facebook group where people rave about this company, but i've come to suspect the owner has friends pretending to be satisfied customers in order to falsely prop him up. sad that people like this get away with treating customers like dirt. my recommendation is to stay away from RKD - there are plenty of other tree services in the area that can do the job, be more responsive and reliable and show actual professionalism.

We are very happy with our choice to use Brian, Alex, and their team to remove a few old trees. The area was very tight with almost no room to work, and they got the job done with no issues or damage to the pool, equipment, fence, etc. They left the yard very clean. I have no problem recommending RKD for any tree work you need in your yard.

We hired RKD to cut down a 60ft Red Oak that was close to utility wires and grind the stump. They got the job done, but they weren't too careful, dropping 4ft wide x 10ft long logs on our property shook our whole house and damaged our Dogwood that was very close to our house splitting the main limb so the Dogwood will likely die. I complained about this to Brian, but he offered nothing to cover the damage. Worse after we had RKD cut down a couple of dead trees at my in-laws, the township called Brian to inspect a 1/2 dead oak in the right-of-way space. Comcast & Verizon used this tree as a utility pole and their wires were embedded over 3 inches into the trunk. Brian refuses to put this damage from the wires in the report and instead keeps calling us to pay to have the tree down so be very careful working with RKD on any responsibility or property issues as they'll side with the township since they get lots of work from them!

Putting down other companies. Not professional. High prices.

Good company, had a good experience with their service. Came and took away a few trees I needed removed for an in-ground pool install. Clean up after was good as well. Price was fair for the work performed. I would use again.

Mike and crew did a great job removing 3 precarious leaning and fallen trees after all the rain and wind we had in Old Bridge, NJ recently. They were very responsive, professional and reasonably priced. They even patched my neighbor’s fence where one of the trees fell through. Clean up was great too - you couldn’t even tell anything happened, except for a little sawdust left over.

I'm quite happy with the quality of the work. The technician got there exactly on time. He told me why it's vital to clean the vents often. There was a lot of lint in our vent. The dryer works a lot better now that it's been cleaned. One cycle is all it takes for clothes to dry. The technician was highly professional and kind. I would use this service again for sure.
