I have to say this is the best landscaping company I have used so far! My yard and lawn are looking spectacular for the upcoming seasons. Donald is very professional and knowledgable and has been extremely helpful making different design decisions. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Jill has been a tremendous help to our backyard project. She presented us with multiple options - her first choice being the one we're going with - and was instrumental in the aesthetic of our project, from materials to plants. Additionally, Jill's made the process super easy which has been a lifesaver, as we were coming up on the end of a long home renovation.

We were looking for a landscape designer to help us with a few areas - one overrun, one where wanted a bright side garden and another in the back where we were looking for better privacy and thankfully we hired Jill Raleigh at A Little Green who exceeded our expectations. Jill was able to accomplish all that we needed with a very thoughtful design by listening to our requests and offering better expert solutions around them. Jill also recommended a wonderful landscape team, Bednar Landscape Services, also with a high attention to detail. Jill worked with them as the lead making sure everything was done correctly and when issues came around she came up with solutions. The plantings had a one year guarantee and even though the project is over Jill is currently working on alternative solutions for the few plants that did not make it. We are already enjoying our new landscape. Very happy with our decision to go with Jill Raleigh at A Little Green and highly recommend and would definitely work with Jill again in the future.

Jill is a visionary and a joy to work with. We have a large slope in our front yard, and are adjacent to an open wooded area, and Jill was so thoughtful and creative in designing our space to both achieve our goals and ensure that the design blends in with the surrounds - while being mindful of the wildlife in our area and avoiding plantings that wouldn’t hold up well with the hungry critters. Jill also ensured the plants she selected bloom at different points throughout the year so that we will always have something beautiful to look at. We appreciated Jill being mindful of budgeting concerns, and willing to work with us over the years to come to continue to add to our design in digestible pieces. She also has fantastic contractors who she works with that solved our drainage issue, managed the installation and will work with us on maintenance. We look forward to working with Jill on future aspects of our project, and are so happy we met her.

We worked with Jill on revamping the landscaping in the front of our home. She did an exceptional job that exceeded expectations! Jill is not only a great designer with superb taste, but she is extremely practical and well organized. After Jill completed our design, she walked us through the options regarding planting, expansion of our irrigation system and several other crucial procedural matters we would never have thought of. Subsequent to this, we hired Jill to manage the project with some excellent vendors she recommended. The whole process was seamless, and we are beyond pleased with the outcome. She has been available for followup questions and even gave us a written care plan for our project. We recommend Jill without reservation - she cares deeply about her work and it shows.

We worked with Jill to put together a landscape plan for our small back and front yard. Jill was wonderful to work with, she asked great questions about how we currently use and want to use the space, favorite plants, effort of maintenance and really walked us through all our options and the design reasoning behind our final design. We also had Jill project manage installation, which was a great time saver for sourcing and overseeing the project. It was so helpful to have an expert to hold our hand through this process and have a resource for future work.

We had the pleasure of working with Jill on designing and installing the front yard landscaping of our home. At the outset, we had requested a super low maintenance yet aesthetic design, and Jill was able to deliver on all fronts. She took into consideration all of the design elements we requested and put together a wonderful design plan, that she ultimately implemented. The day of installation was a dream! Jill had everything planned so seamlessly and within a few hours our front yard was transformed. Passersby will often compliment us on our beautiful garden and we are looking forward to working with Jill again, this time on the design of our backyard.

We were lucky enough to be Jill's very first clients many years ago and when we needed to landscape our new home, calling her was a no-brainer. Jill got our creative vision right away and came up with a gorgeous design that incorporated the style of our home and the general aesthetic we were going for. She was able to pivot easily when we decided that we wanted a slightly different vibe. She was communicative, creative, always thinking about the design AND the practicality, as in balancing what we want with what will actually thrive in the space we were trying to fill. And she didn't just think about plants - she planned out hardscaping, lighting, irrigation - the whole picture. When installation day came, she was present on site every day, oversaw every part of the process, and made sure to show us what and how things were going in the ground before committing, to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Jill was great to work with and if we move again, we'll be calling her back!

We did a large renovation of our yard this summer (plants, grass, fencing, hardscaping) and we had a few ideas but Jill was able to dream up a beautiful backyard that both met our needs and tastes and made our yard an outdoor oasis! Jill provided the landscape design and project management which was incredibly helpful as she helped us figure out things along the way and oversee the project. She’s incredibly creative, communicative and easy to work with. She’s now helping us figure out some furniture ideas for the back. Can’t recommend her and the Bednar landscape construction team enough!

What can I say about Jill Raleigh and A Little Green? We had the most amazing experience working with Jill on our backyard deck and garden re-design. From start to finish, Jill did a fantastic job of bringing our ideas to life on paper and working diligently to bring those ideas into execution. We are in Glen Ridge and, being a historic town, we had quite the job of going through to approvals. Jill didn't miss a beat in handling town compliance and reacting when we had to pivot on design or materials. She made the process so incredibly smooth for us.

We couldn't be happier with the final outcome! Our yard looks brand new and we can't wait to continue hosting back there! Her knowledge of plants and trees is incredible. Also worth mentioning, she has fantastic vendors to support her vision. We would recommend Jill to anyone in the area that wants to create a new space for their home. She really is the best!
