Mark, the representative I spoke with, was very nice and explained the cleaning process very clearly. The two workers they sent were also very nice to deal with and worked very hard. We were very pleased with the result of cleaning our ceramic tile entryway floor and kitchen. Highly recommend.

5/21/25 edit due to owners reply as follows:

No one ever reached out to me as you state. If you had reached out to me to say something like “what can we do to make this right?” and in fact made it right then I would not have wrote my 100% honest and factual review. Therefore how can I be “impossible” to deal with? I understand you have to lie to keep people coming to your business but the fact remains that within 3-4 days of having the job done and coming out of the shower with some water dripping off my body like everyone else, your color sealant washed away. Why? Because your so called technician doesn’t know the difference between thinset and grout. Color sealing only works on grout.

You also lie about my order. When Mark gave me the price he said we clean the floors with whatever words that basically meant a good floor scrubbing and IF you like the way the floors look then we do not color seal. If you don’t like the floors after we scrub them then we apply the color seal. Then I specifically asked him is the price lower if I don’t color seal and he said no it’s the same price whether you color seal or not. All cleverly worded in your tricky contract that you want signed up front. This should have been a red flag so shame on me.

The second shame on me was the fact that I should have realized any company that gives you a quote using FaceTime instead of personally coming to see and inspect the worksite are a bunch of scammers. Any reputable company would come in person to see the job and give the owner free expert advice.

I found that company and it is not Sir Grout!

Bottom line: you took my money and didn’t offer me a cent back and then lie on top it by saying you reached out to me many times. The color seal didn’t even last one week. If this review helps just one person avoid your company then I am happy. One less person for you to scam.

So there you have it folks.. Jeff gets an academy award for his reply and I stick to my original review because it is all true. There are smart folks out there Jeff and you crossed the line when it comes to customer satisfaction with me.
    ================================

Stay away from this company. They make you sign a contract and imbedded in the price are services they use a clever word play on which basically means they clean the floors with a scrubbing machine and safe chemicals. Then if you like how the grout looks they still charge you for color sealing even if you don’t want it. Who would want to pay over $700 for a floor cleaning with no color sealing?? The color seal washed away within two days and all they could say to me was that it’s not sticking to the grout. I found out from a REAL PROFESSIONAL COLOR SEALING COMPANY that there was no grout left on my floors so they were trying to color seal on top of thin set which is not grout and the reason why the color seal washed away. Color seal only works on grout. Not thin set and they were too inept to realize it. They did not come to personally inspect the floor prior to doing the work. Just want you to sign the contract and pay for a glorified floor cleaning. I had to have my floors re-grouted by a real color sealing company who did grout as well. The inept Sir Grout people do not do re-grouting and did not offer me a penny back for a job that failed in less than a month. They do not do the right thing and will never get my business again. Stay away from this company. There are other pros who know the difference between thin set and grout and do not make you sign a contract.

After seeing the amazing results in Sir Grout's advertisements, I decided to call for a consultation. During the initial consultation, the owner, Jeff, was very charming and promised a lot. Unfortunately, not much was delivered. The job was supposed to take almost the entire day due to how much grout there was. I was surprised when it ended up taking just a few hours. Upon reviewing the job, I was shocked to see how poorly it was all done. The attached pictures show just how awful it looked. The tiles were more dirty than before. The grout in some corners and near moldings was not cleaned or covered whatsoever, and if it was, it was covered with a blob. After it all, I called the owner to talk about my dissatisfaction. I was surprised yet again, as the man who was so polite just a few weeks ago was suddenly so harsh and condescending. He kept repeating “What didn’t we do that was in the contract?” The problem was that the job was done poorly, not that everything wasn’t technically done. Furthermore, 3 months later, I started to see that the grout they put unevenly around the bathtub was rising up and peeling. This was simply a waste of money. Sir Grout is extremely expensive for their poor work quality and I do not recommend them at all!

Sir Grout did a great job. Over time, my upstairs bathroom had developed a severe mold problem along the space where the tub meets the tile. After putting things off for probably too long, I googled and found Sir Grout. When I called, they quickly set up a "virtual estimate." I was initially taken aback by that, but at the appointed time, Mark called and walked me through the process - very patiently. His estimate to pull out all the old silicone grout, steam clean, regrout and seal, was quick and fair. He suggested (but not to upsell) cleaning and sealing the floor tile as well. It hadn't been resealed since it was installed, so he was right. Mark worked with me to find a good day to schedule the job. The day the tech came, he was thorough, explained what he would be doing and answered any questions. The whole process took about 5.5 hours. The bathroom looks fantastic. The epoxy grout that was used is supposed to be mold-resistant and last a lifetime.
My only regreat is that I waited for my tub to look like a mold-jungle before I called Sir Grout. And I will have them come back in the future to do the floor tile for my downstairs kitchen / bathroom. From estimate to completing, the process was A++. I would recommend Mark and company without hesitation!

Disappointed in the level of performance received especially at the price point. Hired to clean shower grout and re caulk. I was expecting the results as advertised on the site. After the job there were missed areas of the shower where rust/mold was and expressed disappointment in the aesthetics (not clean lines/bumpy not smooth application). The contractor came back a second day to clean up the mold/rust and to clean up the lines. He did a better job on certain spots of the caulk and cleaned up the mold but made me wonder if the sealant was applied to those areas as they were missed the first time and overall still didn’t look professional to me. I know I am a bit of a perfectionist so may not bother others but attached are photos for your opinion. The three stars are for the GM who was prompt and provided good customer service and eventually the mold was all removed. The minus two stars are for the inconvenience of it not being done correctly the first time and still the poor aesthetics on the caulk and certain areas of the grout. And the miscommunication that the caulking around faucet would not be completed by them so I have to now sort/replace the faucet caulking as that can only be silicone which the company does not provide.

In hindsight for the $930 paid to clean and re caulk a tub for the results received, I may have just bought a steam cleaner and the epoxy grout, did it myself and save the $700 bucks, as with some painters tape I probably would produce similar results.

The photos show the results after the first job (missed areas of shower) and the after of returning a second time.

Adrian did an amazing job, our tiles, grout and granite look like new. He was very meticulous, and made sure we were happy with the grout color and the cleaning and sealing of various stone surfaces. We will definitely use Sir Grout again.

I can't say enough about my experience with Sir Grout. From the moment I reached out to them, their commitment to customer service was evident. Mark, the owner, personally contacted me and conducted a thorough job evaluation (grout cleaning and sealing) and room measurement calculation via FaceTime ensuring the quote and scope were accurate. The day before the appointment, I received a friendly reminder. The service representative, Adrian, arrived as scheduled, then took the time to review the job before starting. He worked cleanly, diligently and then walked through the finished job again to ensure my satisfaction. The following day, Mark reached out again to ensure that all went well. What more could you ask for?

Mike was a pleasure to work with. He cares about what he does and is knowledgeable in producing a good quality home. He worked well with my architect and designer and I felt like I had a great team building my dream house.

Houses are built great. If there's a discrepancy they are quick to respond and get it done within the same day. My experience throughout the moving transition was hands down the smoothest. Moldings, trim, painting, plumbing and electrical we're perfectly installed.

Gil showed us a few homes we were interested in during our scheduled meeting and we found our dream home. After that we were moved in within 2 months!
All our questions were answered timely during the process and anything that needed to be fixed was addressed. Nothing was done halfway and we couldn’t be happier with our home. Working with Gil was just the cherry on top as him and his team really made it an awesome experience

We purchased our newly constructed home in October 2021. Argo Construction, and specifically Jennifer Valentino, was, and continues to be, responsive to all of our requests to ensure we had a home constructed that met all of our specifications. This included completion of construction to meet our requested closing date. We have a beautiful home. Additional homes have been built in our new Argo Construction neighborhood and our community is really beginning to develop into a very nice place to live. I encourage prospective homebuyers to work with Jennifer and check out our great new community.

Argo Construction is at the top of their game! Our home is absolutely beautiful. Jennifer has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is done to the highest standard. She has been so pleasant to work with. She is very understanding and cares about making this process as painless as possible. She helped us pick out the best options to ensure the most beautiful home we have ever owned. Thank you Argo for always listening to us and caring about our needs. The Rock Tavern neighborhood is coming along so beautifully and we are very pleased with the work you are doing to give us such a peaceful and comfortable place to live!

We recently moved into our first new construction home in a community Argo is building. From beginning to end, Jennifer, Vitaliy, and the rest of their team have been amazing with communication and follow through on our questions and requests. They truly care about us loving our home and their service stands out among the rest of the builders in the area. Even after we’ve moved in, they continue to be responsive to our requests. Not to mention that the finishes and quality of construction are beautiful! We receive multiple compliments anytime anyone visits our home. We’re excited to see the community continue to grow and raise our family here.

We moved into our new home, built by Argo Construction & Development, in 2022. We wanted a low-maintenance Trex deck and porch, but Argo’s quote was too high. To keep to budget, we decided to keep the wooden porch and removed the deck from the build. In 2023, we hired another company to build the Trex deck in the back, and they did an excellent job.
When it came time to upgrade our porch with Trex, our contractor removed the existing decking and immediately identified multiple structural issues. The four posts that support the porch roof were resting directly on the decking without proper support or connection to the cross beam. The decking beneath the posts was visibly bowing under the weight of the roof. The cross beam was not properly bolted together and the boards making up the beam were starting to pull apart. Plus, the steps were not constructed from a solid backing and beginning to bow in the middle.
On our contractor’s recommendation, we contacted the town’s code compliance department for an official inspection. The inspector confirmed that Argo failed to install required solid blocking under the posts, violating both the approved building plan and standard construction practices. This issue was likely missed during routine inspection as blocking is often installed later and contractors are trusted to complete this properly—something that clearly didn’t happen in our case. He also acknowledged the other structural concerns identified by our contractor were valid. To correct these issues, proper blocking needed to be installed beneath the posts, the four posts needed to be replaced and securely fastened to the new structural support, the cross beam needed to be properly bolted and reinforced, and the steps needed to be rebuilt for structural integrity. All this needed be corrected prior to proceeding with the planned cosmetic work and reinspected to ensure code compliance.
We promptly contacted Argo Construction about these issues. At first, they acknowledged the missing blocking as an “oversight” and agreed to install it but did not address the other structural issues. Given that we had already experienced subpar repairs from Argo in the past and Argo’s subcontractors were responsible for these issues in the first place, we decided to continue with our own trusted contractor for the needed repair work. We simply asked Argo to cover the cost of the necessary structural repairs—not the cosmetic upgrades. Instead of taking responsibility, Argo’s CEO falsely accused our contractor of removing the blocking during their demo—an outright fabrication. He even went so far as to accuse us of attempting to extort money from him for the cosmetic upgrades. Fortunately, our detailed documentation, photographic evidence, and payment records completely refute these baseless and malicious accusation. Ironically, despite the CEO’s claims that Argo was not at fault, they swiftly dispatched contractors to inspect and work on many other porches in the neighborhood—a clear indication that these issues were not isolated to our home.
Unfortunately, this behavior is not surprising. The CEO of Argo Construction has gained a reputation in our community for bullying, intimidation, and hostility toward homeowners who raise legitimate concerns about their homes. When investing a substantial amount of money to build a home, no one should have to deal with this kind of disregard for quality, accountability, and professionalism.
Despite these challenges, we love our home and the neighborhood. We are committed to ensuring our home is safe and well-maintained. However, we feel it important to share our experiences so other prospective buyers can make informed decisions with realistic expectations when considering Argo Construction & Development. If you do choose to work with them, be prepared to document everything, seek independent inspections, and advocate for yourself—because accountability is not something they offer willingly.
