Electrical reviews in Mountainside, New Jersey

I used Toth on recommendation of a neighbor in Mendham, NJ for install of an L2 home EV charger.

From scheduling, to install, to admin on permit - the entire team was so professional, prompt, and helpful. I can't recommend them enough.

Toth Electric is an excellent business! All employees are courteous, knowledgeable and responsive. Timely, fair, and helpful. Highly recommend.

Abraham and Joe are Rock Stars in my book! They installed a beautiful new brass flush mount recessed floor outlet for me, first. Now my bookcase with my sound system sits right over it, completely hiding it. My amplifier, an NAD from 1972 still sounds great, but now I've connected a Bluetooth reciever to it. Audio signals from all over the apartment: the Roku box, DTTV broadcasts, computers, the DVD player, even cell phones, can all be played through my old amplifier, wirelessly. To get the DTTV working (digital TV broadcast through the airwaves by both the major and local networks), Abraham and Joe ran coaxial cable from one new brush plate outlet that they installed by my ancient but incomparable plasma HDTV, up inside the wall, above the ceiling (which they accessed through a harrowingly narrow attic crawlspace), and down to a new brushplate they installed on the other side of the room by a balcony with big windows. That end of the cable plugs in to my Antop "Mini Big Boy" powered digital antenna, which needs to be by the windows for better reception. Now I'm getting the whole NBC Olympic coverage for free in digital clarity. Because Congress mandated national and local broadcasters offer free DTTV to maintain their licenses in 2005, you get the major network's coverage of their featured "games of the week" for baseball, football, basketball and hockey during the regular season, and most playoff games this way, also. (That is, until the leagues, the networks and their masters, the gambling industry, find new ways to put everything behind pay walls.) Big events of national interest, like the major award shows and political events are also available for free through DTTV in digital clarity. And Toth Electric has made all this possible for me without wires strung everywhere, which was my wife's one big ask! All the components in my house are interconnected, and thanks to Toth Electric, it's mostly invisible! It's better than I could have imagined.

The technician Jo was on time. Did the work diligently and answered all my questions. Jo had a friendly manner about him.

Toth Electric upgraded our 100amp service to 200 amp service. The team was very prompt and professional, and finished the complicated job in one day. Very satisfied and would choose them again.

Always great, quick service. Any time I have an electric issue, Toth is my first call. Quick response, usually able to come out same day even within an hour or two, always professional and quick, and work is done well and lasts.

Really happy with Toth Electric's installation of my Tesla wall charger. Process was easy between proposal, permitting and installation. Appreciated Jordan's detailed proposal and time spent answering my various questions. Communication was great with the office staff on permitting status and install scheduling. Joe and Rocelin installed a subpanel and ran wiring from the basement subpanel to the garage for the wall connector installation. They were organized, efficient, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Definitely keeping Toth Electric contact info for future electrical needs. Thank you!

I had 18 electrical outlets replaced. Service was great, electricians were timely and professional. Will gladly use Toth again in the future.

Too notch experience from start to finish. Have trusted Toth for a while and will continue to!

I had a chandelier to be installed. They couldn't get to me as scheduled on Friday. We rescheduled for today and almost had to reschedule due to a need for a larger ladder. One was found and brought here. The job was then completed quickly.

Great service! Responded to contact form quickly, scheduled an appointment, got a quote and executed in a timely manner with clean work and no mess left behind. Appreciate the professionalism.

I had an urgent repair and the accommodated me same day! Scheduler was excellent and a great communicator. Joe the electrician went above and beyond. I highly recommend!

We have used Toth Electric mutliple times for many different projects around our house. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Would 100% recommend them.

Toth did a great job upgrading my service from 100 with an almost 60 year old pushmatic box to 200 amp and installing a level 2 charger for our Wrangler 4xe. They are very personable, professional and clean. They wouldn't even step foot in my house with shoe covers. Very satisfied and will use them again if I need an electrician again. Before and after pics added.

I recently hired Toth Electric Co. to install a Tesla Gen 3 Home Charging station at my house, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the initial quote to the final setup, everything went smoothly. Their prices were fair and transparent—no hidden fees or surprises. The installation team was professional, arriving on time and completing the job quickly without any mess. They left the area spotless, and the charger works perfectly. Highly recommend Toth Electric for any EV charging needs—5 stars!

Very satisfactory process: fair estimate and Andrew did a great job (timely, professional, friendly.). Def a positive experience.

The guys did top-notch work! The quality of their work is amazing and they were wonderful with us -- they explained everything they were doing and did some troubleshooting to make sure everything would go smoothly with our kitchen renovation, which included new light fixtures, new outlets, undercabinet lighting, wiring of the garbage disposal, etc. Plus, they did some work in the basement. This isn’t the first time we’ve used them - and it won’t be the last! Would highly recommend Toth in general but also specifically Abraham Rodriguez and Wellington, who did this job for us.

Great experience! They were on time, explained what they’ll be working on, engaged me when needed. Seamless experience end to end - starting from estimation to completion! I also appreciated that they weren’t trying to upsell and were honest throughout the process.

Very professional crew members. Anthony, Scott, James, and of course, the owner Jordan. Charged fair price and delivered exceptional quality work. They installed a new panel today and a new 240v outlet and new wire as well. They cleaned the work area afterwards. Anthony was patient enough in answering my questions. Overall I definitely recommend and will use again. Thank you!

I’ve had multiple installations with Toth, and the experience has been great. Very one of who has come has been so nice and helpful. I had an electric charger installation as well and they handled everything including permits and rebates that work for my timeline

Always a great experience! Our Condo Association did not make this easy for us and had a 20 page report that Toth had to fill out with all the details. They did all the leg work in a timely fashion without follow up. On the morning of the appointment they sent me a tracker to see where the techs were and when they will arrive. They installed two Tesla wall mounted chargers for us. It was inside of a parking garage so it definitely wasn’t easy. Both charges had to be connected to our electrical panels(we live in a HOA). It definitely wasn’t cheap BUT quality of work and the professional electricians on site was worth it. They were also on time.
