Electrical reviews in Mountainside, New Jersey

Amazing experience. Jordan came out - answered questions and provided us with a ton of information about installing an EV charger and the options we had, including upgrading our electrical service to the house, which we decided to go with. He promised us a quote the next day, which he followed through with. When it came time to schedule, it was efficient and easy. The work crew took less than two days to do a service upgrade and install our charger. The technicians were friendly. The work and cleanup were excellent. They checked in with me about the work and questions. Honestly the entire process was on Toth Electric's end was amazing. I am so glad to have found them and know I now have a solid electrician in my list of contacts. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Another great installation—this time in my dining room—by the folks at Toth. The fixture has many pieces and is heavy, but they pulled it together perfectly.

“Oh hell to the yeah!” That’s what I shouted when I saw the magic the Toth guys worked in my kitchen. They installed LED under counter lights, fresh fixtures over the island and a new switch for the disposal. They also fixed my front porch light and updated several dimmers. They were pros from start to finish. They submitted bids, scheduled work and showed up all in a timely fashion. If you’re tired of getting the run around give the folks at Toth a call.

Working with Toth Electric is always fast and easy. After contacting them via their website, I had a technician (Abraham) at our house in less than 24 hours. He was professional, courteous, and helpful. Im looking forward to working with Toth Electric again soon.

I used Toth to install an outdoor EV charger and 2x surge protectors. Scheduled an appointment and they were there within a day to do a walkthrough. A day later I had the estimate and the and the charger was installed precisely as I asked within a week. Permitting, etc was all handled by them. Notifications when they were arriving, reminders, etc.

Prompt, professional, and thorough -- what's not to like? You can tell this is a very well run business. I would highly recommend these guys for any electrical work and I will be using them again.

Abraham and Vinnie were great! They finished the outlet installation quickly and neatly. I couldn’t be more pleased! Also they were very pleasant and communicative.

The technician Jason did a great job, very polite, respectful, cleaned up thoroughly, showed and explained the detailed work, answered all my questions courteously. The external outlet is functioning great, an A+ job. Am very happy, will use the company again for future work.

Andrew and Russ did an amazing job installing all my recessed lights and new bathroom fan . They were on time every day and were meticulous with cleaning up afterwards. They also worked non stop and finished quickly. Will definitely use Toth electric again.

Great customer service. Jordan came out and provided an estimate and overview of the process (from permit application to completion of the work and subsequent inspection). Jason and Bruce arrived today to do the work (running new wiring from my house to garage, installing new sub-panel in the garage, and new EV charger). They were friendly, professional, and efficient. I will absolutely use Toth Electric again!

We had a generator installed. Jason is very professional and quick to respond. Fair pricing and the technicians were very capable. Job well done. The only thing keeping me from a 5 plus rating was the office support wasn’t very proactive. I needed to inquire a few times to find out what was happening or move things along. Overall very positive experience.

We couldn’t be more impressed with Toth Electric Company! From start to finish, their entire team was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. Our project involved a commercial-level electrical service, which required both experience and expertise, and Toth Electric delivered on every front.
They guided us through the entire process, handling all the necessary coordination with the power company and township to ensure permits and approvals were completed smoothly. The office staff, electricians, and even the owner were all fantastic, taking the time to clearly explain each step so we always knew what to expect.
Their pricing was fair and reasonable, especially given the level of service and attention to detail they provided. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority for them.
We highly recommend Toth Electric Company to anyone in need of a reliable, professional, and skilled electrical contractor, whether for commercial or residential work. A true five-star experience from start to finish!

Toth Electric delivered an excellent experience from start to finish. Jordan and his team were responsive, professional, and transparent throughout the entire process. They handled a full service panel upgrade from 100A to 200A for my home, installed several new outlets, upgraded light fixtures, remediated old wiring, and set up my EV charger. Everything was completed efficiently, safely, and with great attention to detail.

Their pricing was very fair compared to other quotes I received, and communication was top-notch. Jordan & his team always kept me in the loop about scheduling, permits, and inspections. The crew was punctual, respectful of my home, and clearly took pride in their work.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the results. Great guys, great workmanship, and an overall smooth experience. I’ll definitely be using Toth Electric again for future projects and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy electrician.

Abraham did quite a bit of troubleshooting on a couple outdoor lights that have not been working and was successful in restoring them to working condition. He was professional, efficient and pleasant. I am very happy with his work.

Toth Electric installed recessed lights in 3 of my bedrooms. They did a great job of explaining what they would be doing and their quoted price was very reasonable. They installed the lights very quickly and the results were amazing! They kept everything covered during the installation and even cleaned up afterwards. I found out about this company through a Google search, and I'm glad that I did! For my future electrical needs, I will be going back to Toth!

I had a fantastic experience with this electrical company. They were professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. From the first call to the completion of the job, everything was handled efficiently and with great attention to detail.

As a real estate professional in New Jersey, I work with many vendors — and it’s rare to find a team that communicates clearly, shows up on time, and delivers high-quality work. I will absolutely be recommending them to my clients and using them again in the future.

Highly recommend!
