Constraction reviews in North Plainfield, New Jersey

Trimaine and his team are awesome. Hurricane Ida flooded our home in September 2021. I was 7 months pregnant with twins, so time was of the essence. Despite the devastating damage, TNM had us back in our almost brand new house in about a month… just in time for the birth of our boys. Everyone is efficient, professional, and very responsive. The work is done quickly and the results are amazing. We are forever grateful.

Sad to say that I would not recommend TNM for any home repairs. We purchased a home that Trimaine and TNM redid. Trimaine, at the time of closing, promised to fix all of the issues that we had. He did not fix anything and we have spent tens of thousands of dollars redoing all of the shoddy work he performed. Contractors have no idea how the house passed any inspections!

Very happy with this contractor
His guys are very nice and super clean at work.
Always on time. Highly recommended

Trimane and Co did everything I asked for in my master bathroom, down to the fine details and even made good suggestions (ie, installing a recessed light in the shower) to add to my bathroom. Price was very fair and they were very flexible with scheduling around bad weather and a trip I had planned. I’d highly recommend!

Trimaine and his team were incredible to work with during our home addition and remodel. As both a client and a friend, we’ve had the opportunity to see his work from multiple angles, and he brings the same professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail every time. He was always available to answer questions, kept things on track, and made the process smooth from start to finish. We’re grateful for the partnership and proud to recommend him!!

This was my 4th and biggest home reno project with TNM and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out! All flooring on the first floor was replaced, as well as all cabinets, back splash, trim, and lighting in the kitchen. We agreed on a finishing timeline that they were able to keep to the day.

TNM Construction and Trimaine did a marvelous job in creating a living speace in our basement. We have added a sleeping space, closet, bathroom with extra large shower to care for elders, extended HVAC, and built an under stairwell storage. We love the workmanship, attention detail, and strong customer service. We are very happy with space and highly recommend their work.

Trimaine of TNM is a life-saver. Our original contractor walked off the job after gutting, initial framing, & poured floor, w mistakes. Trimaine came in w/o hesitation & his excellent team fixed all the errors & then completed our difficult custom job w layered logistics complications (outside vendor glass & tile, in layers). The end result is perfect realization of our vision, and was a smooth pleasant experience all though. Highly recommend!

We recently used TNM construction to add an office in our unfinished basement and I can’t recommend them enough. They were punctuational, efficient and professional. They finished the project in under two weeks! What I really appreciated was after our initial consultation and quote there were no hidden extra charges as the project went on. Trimaine is an honest guy and it was a pleasure doing business with him. I look forward to using TNM to finish the entire basement in the future.

TNM Construction was highly professional, cost effective & thorough. From the onset of the project (installing the patio door) Trimaine was communicative and responsive, transparent, and kept me in the loop every step of the way- from measuring the door, finding the door within a reasonable price range, and sticking to the time frames provided, Trimaine and his team are knowledgeable and experienced. I would recommend them for anything you need for your home! You won’t regret it. Thanks TNM!

We had a fantastic experience with TNM Construction! From start to finish, they were professional, efficient and diligent in their work. They made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction and within the timeframe that was quoted to us. We had a tough electrical issue that they stayed on top of and worked hard to make sure it was done 100% correctly before calling it complete. It’s hard to find contractors who care that much about their work and their customers. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a hard working and reliable company!

We entered into a contract with TNM in July 2023 for $9,500 to remodel our bathroom. At the time, everything seemed fine, but two years later we will need to redo our entire bathroom because of the quality of their work. I purchased limewash paint for the project and asked Trimaine and his workers if they knew how to use it and they all said yes. I've attached photos showing how bad it turned out. I reached out to Trimaine in December 2023 to remove the paint and prime it so we could hire someone to fix it without accruing additional costs, and his response wasn't supportive or reflective of good customer service. Although, his contract states that “contractor shall replace or repair any work within two years”. I was 8 months pregnant at the time and didn't have the energy to fight it. That ends today. Do not work with this company if you want quality work.

This is the second time I’ve used TNM. The first time TNM did soundproofing on my connecting wall in my condo, removing a wall and adding it back with soundproof material. Easy and smooth construction process.

This time I called them back to fix a condensation issue I was having in my master bathroom. The ceiling paint kept peeling from high condensation. TNM found similar tiles to extend from my standing shower up and onto the ceiling. But after the start of the tiling, I felt the tiles were slightly a different color than my existing ones. I told Trimaine how I was feeling about the color difference, and without any hesitation he asked me if I wanted to change out the tiles to different ones. Which I did want to. So the next day the tiles were taken down and the new ones were put up without delay. I am so happy with the new tiles and extremely thankful for Trimaine in this process. The bathroom looks gorgeous. A new exhaust fan was also placed to help decrease the condensation issue. Another easy and smooth construction process.
If you want professional character, call TNM.

Pakman Fencing and Renovations did an outstanding job from beginning to end. The team was professional, hardworking, and paid close attention to every detail. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and they made everything stress-free and easy. I highly recommend Pakman Fencing and Renovations. To anyone looking for reliable, high-quality construction and renovation work. Definitely a company you can trust!

Ali came over to my house last week to do some electrical work. It was a last-minute request, but he was super accommodating and made it work. He did a great job and was really easy to work with. On top of being a solid electrician, he’s just a good guy. I’ll definitely call him again, and I’d rate him higher if I could!

Highly recommend Ali/ Pakman Renovations for any project. He installed recessed lights in our basement and they came out great. So much that we brought Ali back to install a ceiling fan.

When we want something soon and quick we call Ali. He’s the most reasonable, reliable and efficient handyman we know.

Pakman Fencing and Renovations has done more than one job for us at our home and we couldn't be happier. A very big fence job and a large patio and walkway. The whole team did great work for us and we are so happy with the quality of work and the top notch service! We will be hiring them again in the future and will be recommending them to friends!

These guys are great they have done quite a bit work for us. They made us a beautiful deck and finished our basement amazing work !! Very happy with it and definitely recommend them to everyone!!
