I've been using Almost Perfect Landscaping for a year now. My lawn was the worst on the street even though I had had landscapers for years. I saw their trucks one day, looked at the work they were doing for that lawn, and decided to give them a call. Glad I did! Frank Porter is honest and straight-forward with his assessments of what needs to happen to have that beautiful lawn, and his pricing is competitive. The crew are amazing as well. Frank has also done tree and shrub trimming and is willing to help you with any of your lawncare/outdoor space needs. They get the job done, and they do it very well. I highly recommend Almost Perfect Landscaping.

Frank and his crew have been providing landscaping and snow removal services on my property for 10 years. The crew does a great job and is very careful when they work. They treat my property as if it was their own. They are also very professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. If I have a question or need assistance, I can call the office or contact Frank directly and get a response. I highly recommend using Almost Perfect for your landscaping needs.

Frank and his team have been working on our yard since May 2013, and they have done a fantastic job. In addition to regular maintenance of the yard throughout the summer, I needed to make two additional requests recently: (1) to cut down a tree (which was actually two trees intertwined) in our backyard and (2) pruning at the edge of our property to prepare for fence installation. Frank was able to take care of the tree removal and provided full service - stump grinding, removal of wood chips, and sod planting where the tree used to be. The pruning job needed to be done right away in order to have our fence installed. Again, Frank and his team were able to accommodate and did a wonderful job. Overall, we are very pleased with Frank and his team and would highly recommend Almost Perfect Landscaping.

We hired Frank and team to revive what had become an extremely cluttered and unwieldy backyard. Frank came to our home on a few occasions and talked us through some options. He provided us with an estimate that seemed more than fair and executed on the plan in a manner that exceeded our expectations. In addition to removing trees and shrubs, he also created a fenced space for our dog that we are very pleased with. The clean up was meticulous. I would recommend Almost Perfect because they offer great customer service and excellent work at a decent price.

Thanks to all the great review here, I also can have a great experience with The Almost Perfect. We recently cut 3 big trees in backyard. There are huge roots everywhere and ground was too hard to grow grass. Frank check the site and gave me reasonable estimate. But, instead of removing exposed roots, guys removed all roots in my backyard. There were more than 10 people in my backyard working together to finish it on time. It should be much more than estimated work!! But, Frank was man of the word and not doing this only for money. He has passion for his work and considering all the things from customer's side. I will do all landscaping projects with Frank and recommend all my friends living in Bergen county. I really appreciate service from Almost Perfect.

Frank and his Almost Perfect team did a fantastic job completely transforming our front yard. Frank spent hours with us, taking us through all of the options, and letting us be as much a part of the process as we wanted. His crew has done a terrific job of maintaining the landscaping especially with the spring and fall cleanups. We worked with Almost Perfect to clean-up and re-organize the landscaping around the house as well as to bring the lawn back to life, especially in the back.

Frank's crew brought in soil, leveled and cleaned the property, trimmed trees and bushes, and created mulch beds around the tress.

We called three landscapers for estimates and Frank Porter responded the quickest- within 24 hours. The other landscapers returned our calls three days after the initial call. Although Almost Perfect was slightly higher than the other two estimates we were extremely pleased with Frank's presentation and knowing exactly what we wanted and needed. We were preparing the property to sell. Frank called and emailed us to inform when his crew would arrive. They arrived promptly and completed all the work as promised. What truly impressed us with Frank was that he wanted to ensure that we were 100% satisfied with the work before paying him. We made some small adjustments which he quickly responded. Frank was excellent in returning both calls and emails within a very reasonable time.

The crew of about 5-6 seemed to be experienced and each worked their specific jobs with diligence. After the work was completed we decided to use Frank to maintain our property until it is sold. We were very pleased with his work and will highly recommend that the Buyers continue to use Almost Perfect.

We switched to Almost Perfect Landscaping this year after over 20 years with the same landscaper and I wish we did it sooner. They have done a great job relandscaping around the house. Frank really took the time to walk us through our options at home and at several local plant nurseries. The work was done on time and he's been very responsive to any questions we have had since project. We can finally see our front porch again and the lawn looks great!

Frank and his team at Almost Perfect Landscaping did a great job on our project - we did a major home renovation last year that left us with no front yard. Frank's team cleaned up the front yard - removed rocks, debris and some leftover construction material - leveled the ground and put down all new sod. They created a nice new garden design and planted some shrubs and flowers which gives great curb appeal. We’ve used Almost Perfect for three years now and have been very pleased with Frank and his team. Frank visits several times per year to consult on services and offer suggestions. His team is great. I’ve had a bit of a sink hole in the front yard and noticed the team filling it last year without asking (or charging). I’ve used them for several other small projects around the yard and have always been very pleased with the quality of work. I highly recommend. I’d say I have the best looking yard on the block, but several of my neighbors use them, too!

My front yard was in need of some serious pruning and manicuring so I reached out to Frank. He came promptly to assess what needs to be done and gave us some suggestions as well. He was a pleasure to talk to and is really knowledgeable on the type of plants we had and their behaviors. A lot of the other landscapers i've spoken to tells me to just scrap the whole yard and start over but Frank had great ideas to preserve some of it which I was delighted about. His guys were quick too, within a few hours they've taken out 4 shrubs, manicured the others and even cleaned up. I can see my yard again! Thank you!

I honestly had one of the best experiences when it comes to landscaping with Frank and his Team. They responded to my inquiry very quickly. Frank personally came to my home to inspect and discuss the project that I wanted to do. He explained to me all the diff options and variables that we may encounter. He provided me with an estimate very quickly, very competitive prices. They then started the job in less than a week. The Team came (4 strong hardworking gentlemen) led by Martine I believe, who is a very intelligent guy himself. Martine measured like a champion and made me feel very comfortable. It poured for 1-2 hours during the job and the Team worked THROUGH THE STORM. Incredible. Sounded like they have a good time working together as well.
