Almost Perfect has been helping me with landscaping and spring / fall clean-ups for the last eight years. The work quality is excellent, the company is run responsibly and reliably. The landscaping has been really good- emphasis on design but also sustainability of the tree / shrubs in that location is important to Frank. I recommend them highly.

Frank, the owner, and his crew are exactly what they call themselves: almost perfect. And considering that no human being can be perfect, Frank is the best. Frank is very knowledgable, friendly and will work with you and your budget to get the job done. In our case the job was to clean chips, roto till, level, seed and top dress. We lost our backyard when we cut a tree and removed the roots. We received three quotes and chose to work with Frank although he was slightly more pricey than the lowest bidder because he seemed like he knew what he was doing and also the type of person who would keep his word. The company was "almost" perfect because on the last day the crew was held up by a previous job and arrived at our home several hours late. But we got two calls letting us know what the status was. He showed up eventually with twice the man power needed to make up for the lost time as well as tons of annuals for the yard to thank us for waiting. We loved the fact that Frank not only supervised but also got to work side by side with his crew! That said a lot about Frank's professionalism and about his passion for what he does. So, the job got done and everybody was happy. Like everyone else who said Frank is their go-to landscaper, he is ours as well. We can't wait to see our new lawn. Thanks Frank! I recently moved to New Jersey and my front yard and back yard was a horrible mess. Moving from the Manhattan, I have no clue how to maintain the health of soil or grass. I met Frank Porter of Almost Perfect Landscaping about 4 weeks ago as a result of trying to locate a contractor to beautify my parent’s yard as a Father’s Day present. I called several companies and almost Perfect was the only who responded quickly and promptly. We discussed the scope of the project and then Frank asked me to send him send pictures so we could discuss budget. We went back and forth brain storming the project so I could get the most bang for our buck. The results were spectacular. Let me tell you this, these guys really know their stuff. One day 5 men did what would take us years to do. We suggested that they remove a tree and trim another to which he did not want to do because its severity and suggested that we find a tree removal company. We had trouble finding a company that would be able to remove the tree quickly and at a reasonable price. After telling Frank the issues that I was having he told me not to worry about it he would take care of it. He ended up trimming both trees which opened up the yard. This company goes above and beyond their call of duty. Next week he is planning in returning to customize our deck. I would trust this company with not almost anything I need done, but everything.

Frank and his crew from Almost Perfect Landscaping were a pleasure to deal with. They took care of my Grandfather's and families cemetery plots, and we couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. Everyone commented on how beautiful they looked for the unveiling. Although this wasn't your typical landscaping job, they took it on, and I couldn't be more pleased. We have decided to hire them for maintenance at the family plots, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable, affordable, honest, and excellent work!

I needed a last minute sod install before having a party and Frank was very accommodating and made it happen. He was very responsive to my requests (unlike other landscapers I contacted) and everything went as planned. I received several quotes from other landscapers and Frank's quote was very reasonable so I decided I went with him. It has been several weeks since the Sod and Tree install and I followed Frank's watering schedule and everything looks great. We've used Almost Perfect for our weekly landscaping needs, and winter
snow removal services for years. But recently, we decided to put in a
Generator. Frank's team came in and prepared the area where the
generator will be installed-it needed to be leveled off significantly,
as well as having various established shrubs removed. They also
installed underground gutters so that rain no longer collects at the
base of our garage. While they were getting these items done, we
discussed the condition of my driveway. While we were gone on vacation
they repaired the cracks, leveled off the driveway, and sealed it. We
came home to a gorgeous new driveway. Frank's teams are always
extremely professional and he responds quickly and efficiently. Frank comes out himself to view the job so that he knows exactly who to send and can explain the job with the detail required to do it right the first time. They
are a great business to work with!!!

Frank Porter from Almost Perfect Landscaping was extremely professional, honest, and quick to respond. He took time to educate us about our landscaping and did not try to sell us more services than we needed. We had him come by last fall to discuss reseeding/fertilizing our yard, as well as fix up our walkway. Although plans for the walkway got dropped off his radar for a few months, Frank took ownership of the delay and saw that the job was completed right away. The crew was very professional, thorough, and courteous. Our walkway looks great and we are excited to see our lawn finally green up for the season. Looking forward to having him come back to design our landscaping!

I have been using Frank for many years, He has never failed to perform in any task I have given him. After the hurricane, Frank was able to quickly secure a leaning pine tree for me as well as remove a smaller tree. This was in the week when trees were everywhere and no one was returning your phone calls. Frank and the crew come reliably week after week and make my yard look terrific. He is certainly upfront about his opinions and recommendations so you wont be unsure of his position! The biggest surprise was when he showed up at my doorstep last December presenting me with a Christmas bulb that I managed to get blooming in a few weeks!

contacted Frank from Almost Perfect Landscaping 2 weeks ago for a job at my house, to remove stumps and plant new shrubs. he checked out job, gave me several options, then,gave me a price, he delivered the shrubs on schedule and installed them in a very challenging space around my pool. when I came home the entire job was done, the yard and drive way were clean, the bushes look great. Frank was an excellant guy to do business with. I would highly reccomend him. I will be doing more planting in spring and will call him first.

Frank and his team do absolutely superb work. We had just moved into a new home and Frank came by to give an estimate. He did not push new/unnecessary business (Even suggested we hold off on major landscaping work to address more pressing non-landscape issues). We hired Almost Perfect to be our weekly landscaper. This year we were having a party and needed the backyard to be cleaned and mulched. Not only does it look great, Franks team did the work the same week we requested. Wherther the job is big or small Almost Perfect gets it right, and Frank and his wife are always extremely responsive to any inquiries.

APL did a great job rehabbing my front yard. They aerated and reseeded my lawn, removed dead and dying plants, replanted, remulched, weeded and reconfigured my planting beds. I work 9-5 and don't have time to stay home to meet contractors. Frank was able to talk me through his ideas over the phone. I agreed with the general idea and left the decisions to him. I have to say Frank has a great eye. I love the plants he selected and the placement and reconfiguration of the front yard beds. My yard looks 100% better. They also did a spring cleaning for me. I was impressed by their thoroughness - they even moved pots and other items sitting on the ground so they could clean every crevice. I now have them maintain my yard as well and the crew is very efficient and professional.
