Constraction reviews in Plainfield, New Jersey

I have relied on Deegan to do an excellent job on my home at a fair price for 5 years. Five years ago, they replaced my roof and did a fantastic job. They were very professional, neat, and on time. The roof has been trouble-free since then. This month, they identified and repaired new leaks around three windows on our second floor, which were caused by wind-driven rain through rotting wood on the window sills. They installed two rows of cedar shakes, which were removed, and wrapped the three windows using white aluminum framing. Again, they were professional, neat, and on time, all for a fair price (price range checked below). I would highly recommend Deegan.

Very professional, courteous, fast service. We only needed a service to resecure a siding, several soffits and fascia that were damaged by a storm that birds start to nests in but too high up for my diy comfort level. Other businesses we called find it too small of a job and others takes too long to respond, Deegan Roofing was the only one that responded immediately to take on the job with the most reasonable price. Their guys came in within a week and was done in less than an hour. They did a good job fixing it. Thank you so much Deegan Roofing!

Deegan Roofing has done work for my family in the past including brand new roof and sheathing on my daughter's house a few years ago. The most recent was replacing a 30' long damaged gutter on my home. The office staff, workers who estimate the work, workers and materials are always perfect. Cost is reasonable and they are always polite and efficient.

Great experience all around. Our second time using Deegan, previously did a new roof, this time for a smaller gutter job and everything was done right, done quickly, and professionally.
Would use again and recommend to friends and family.

We used Deegan Roofing a few times. They did an excellent job replacing our roof. Looks great!! They also had to replace a flat part of our roof, a gutter and a freeze board from the July 3rd wind storm. Estimate and work done fairly quickly. Very happy with all there work. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommend!!

I never leave good reviews but I truly feel Deegan did a good job and gave a reasonable price for a full roof replacement. They arrived on time and were finished in 1 day and were professional. Would definitely recommend.

Mike and his company are the best roofer in New Jersey.
The only thing better than his quality of work and craftsmanship is how much he cares about his customers.
I call Deegan Roofing with an emergency situation, he responded right away, gave competitive pricing, and had the job done in just one day!
10/10 highly recommend this company.

I reached out to Deegan Roofing to fix a stubborn leak in my bathroom ceiling, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the first call, the team was friendly, responsive, and professional. They quickly found a gap near the chimney that was causing the issue and explained everything clearly. The repair was done efficiently and very neatly, and the problem was completely resolved within two weeks of the initial quote. I’m so grateful for their excellent work and highly recommend Deegan Roofing to anyone in need of reliable roof repairs!

Fantastic company to work on your roof and gutters!! Pleased with the whole process from the price to the excellent work done.
My friend used Deegan a few years ago and recommended me for roof and gutter replacement job. I had quotes from other companies, but when Mr. Deegan came out to look at the roof himself, I liked his laid back attitude. Unlike other companies Deegan did not rush me to sign any contract immediately.
It's just amazing to know they really care about the quality of the work that they do for their customers.
The crew was on time, professional and cleaned up my property after the job was complete. I highly recommend them.

2nd time using Deegan Roofing, alway professional and they cleaned up the yard and never knew they were here. Crew was very helpful in addressing questions. Calls always returned and they did the job within a few days. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I have used Deegan many times, including two roof replacements (Berkeley Heights and Gillette) and recently an attic fan and vent replacement. Deegan's work is always impeccable and the jobs get completed quickly and on time. The staff is very pleasant and highly attentive. We give Deegan 5 stars!

Deegan Roofing accommodated our need to have materials dropped off same day. The roof turned out great (love the color) and they cleaned up the debris really well. They also discovered and fixed a problem with the apron surrounding the chimney same day.

Deegan Roofing is the absolute best in the business! I am a repeat customer and I have never been let down. The team is efficient clean and will go above and beyond where needed. Thank you again Brien!

My problem was addressed promptly and efficiently. Roof maintenance and sealing were promptly done. Cleanup was fast and thorough. The technicians were pleasant and courteous. Rating is five star.

I am pleased with the work that Deegan did on my roof installation. From the estimate to the final cleanup, everything went as scheduled.
They were on time, completed the work in one and a half days, and even worked through inclement weather. Cleanup was outstanding. I think it’s important when you hire someone that they take pride in their work and are knowledgeable. Their attention to detail was commendable! Thank you, Deegan.

Recommend Deegan Roofing to resolve any repair or service job for the roof. The work is top notch and the customer experience was excellent from the initial call, to onsite execution and professionalism of the crew. Have used them three times for service jobs and plan to use them again in the future shortly.

I had a great experience with Deegan Roofing. Their prices were very competitive, and the quality of work was even better than I expected. The team was professional, on time, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and delivered exactly what they promised.

If you’re looking for reliable service, great prices, and a company that truly stands behind their work, I highly recommend Deegan Roofing.

We needed a new roof and we reached out to 5 roofing companies to come and quote the job. We decided to go with Deegan Roofing because their quote was competitive and they are local in Scotch Plains. Our initial contact was with Brian, the owner. We discovered that Brian lives just around the corner from us. There's something comforting in knowing that the owner of this company is a neighbor. Brian sat with us for about 20 minutes and walked us thru the process. He was straightforward and answered all our questions with patience and professionalism. We had a couple of questions that came up after that initial meeting and those questions were answered promptly by email. When we made our decision, we signed a contract and set up a date for 3 weeks out. Debbie and Mary , from their office, kept us updated with the schedule and the day before the project, a delivery of materials was dropped off. The next day, the crew came and did the job. They started around 8:30 Am and were done by 4PM. The roof looks great and you can't tell that there was even a crew there working because everything was cleaned up and put away. It's never fun shelling out a chunk of money for a home improvement project but we feel really good that Brian and his crew did a great job at a fair price and our home will be protected for years to come. Thank you Deegan!

I want to share my wonderful experience with Deegan Roofing for snow removal at my home after the recent blizzard. I noticed on the local Scotch Plains page that they offered services to senior citizens at no charge. And a neighbor used them with positive feedback. I called them and they came in the later afternoon. A truly amazing effort! Multiple trucks, snow blowing, removal of snow from vehicles and from around them. And all within a short period of time! Although there was no charge, I was compelled to compensate the crew monetarily. You can’t put a price on this kind of service to the community or to how Deegan treats their customers!! Thank you Deegan and God bless you all 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We hired Deegan Roofing during the pandemic to replace our house roof and were extremely impressed with their thoroughness and attention to detail. They carefully repaired damaged wood before installing new shingles. Since then, they have also replaced our garage roof, repaired exterior siding, installed new gutters with Micro Mesh, and fixed gutter connections on our house.

Their team consistently delivers excellent workmanship, friendly service, guaranteed quality, and fair pricing. Deegan Roofing is professional, trustworthy, and highly recommended.

Very professional, punctual, the service was amazing.
