Used Ed and his company for 15 years. He and his team are outstanding. A plus in every way for Marcus for construction to Lou for tree and landscaping to Cathy in office plus all his employees they are the best. Ed always gets involved if needed and always gets back to you. He makes sure the job is 100 percent correct and any issues while rate are corrected. Always available to his clients. And his prices are very reasonable. Wtih Sage and crew you know job will be timely and 100% done right. If I could give 10 stars I would. Issues if any are few and far between and Ed or his crew always solve it. Plus his reputation in the area is second to none.

Sage is always my first choice for landscaping and tree work. They are extremely responsible professional and have great attention to detail. They also stand by their work. I had a couple of shrubs die over the winter and they agreed to replace them without issue since they care about delivering great value to their customers. Would highly recommend.

Ed Sage came to my property after having water damage in my basement from a storm. Ed was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice for preventing this happening, weather it came from the basement windows or ground water. He also gave advice on a neighbors tree that I do not want falling on my house and informed me how to write a formal letter from an LTE to my neighbor. Ed was extremely helpful and nice and would absolutely recommend him to everyone!

Sage Landscaping Design rebuilt our deck this past spring and the results were fantastic. Working with Ed Sage and his team to replace the old deck and make several improvements, including adding LED lighting proved to be the best decision we made. His crew was fantastic. Highly recommend Ed Sage and his team! We had a broken underground pipe that needed immediate repair and Ed came out with one day's notice, and sent a crew to start the work the very next day. Not only did the crew do an incredible job, but Ed assisted with permits from the town, and also our home insurance claim. From start to finish, the process was seamless and there was always an open line of communication. Five stars across the board. We will absolutely recommend Sage Landscaping to all of our neighbors and friends in the future.

Sage landscaping is the best landscaper / contractor we’ve found and used during our five years at our home in NJ. They’ve done multiple projects for us including multiple tree removals, drainage installations, and landscape work. All of the work has been completed quickly and with quality. The price may not always be the absolute cheapest, but the one time we used a different contractor who had a lower price we had to have Sage come to fix their work.

Ed is very knowledgeable, as he walks you through any work being proposed and why it should be done. On top of that, he’s very easy going and easy to communicate with. Not once have I ever felt pressured.

We have used Sage Landscape a number of times over the years but this was a first for masonry work. As always very prompt with an estimate and the work was done in a timely manner. Front porch landing was in need of serious TLC. Sage took care of it.

Absolutely amazing experience with Sage. We raised our yard and expanded an acre of it with fill dirt, then Sage came, leveled it and planted grass. The men worked so efficiently and their work was beautiful. It has only been 8 days and we have so much grass growing already! Ed the owner, was so helpful and so knowledgeable on how we needed to water it to ensure maximum growth. We are so happy and excited to be able to enjoy our new beautiful yard! Worth every penny!

Sage Landscaping has been wonderful to work with. Ed and his team are very friendly, helpful and deliver great work. They redid our stairs on the side of the house, put in new fencing and removed countless dead trees from our backyard. I had a concern for a tree falling down following strong winds and they were there within days to have it removed.

From start to finish a professional job all around. We hand intense water issues right around the December holidays - but that didn’t stop Ed and his crew from coming out day after day to get the job done - and done right! It can be hard to have someone come in and do massive work, but Ed and his guys put us at ease and treated us right. And - we’ve used them for tree removal as well in years past - and they are like ninja’s when it comes to getting in and out with minimal footprint and a job well done for a fair price. Couldn’t recommend Sage Landscape Contractors and Tree Experts more highly!

I hired Sage Landscaping for a drainage and landscaping project. This included improving above-ground drainage, replacing all underground drainage pipes, installing new French drains and catch basins/collection boxes, all connected to the sewer system. Sage removed a large amount of river rock in our front yard, removed trees and stumps, planted a new front lawn and designed/planted new landscaping around our house. Ed, Marcus, and the various specialized crews were knowledgeable, professional, and worked well with the irrigation system sub-contractor.

It was an enjoyable experience, and I found Sage to be more professional than other landscapers. I highly recommend Sage and look forward to collaborating with them again.

Ed Sage and Sage Landscape have been our #1 go to landscaping contractors for nearly 30 years. We worked with Ed, Marcus, Lou and their crews on two different residential properties in Union County. They provided all hard scape infrastructures (retaining walls, intricate drainage systems, patios, walkways, pool surround, waterfall etc), our tree maintenance and our plant materials. We’ve been in our current home more than 20 years and all of the work completed by Sage has lasted and matured beautifully. The crews are very responsive and many of them have been working on our property for multiple years. Sage also assisted with emergency basement flooding, in a time of need. Saul provided amazing service from start to finish. I called for a quote and he came out the very next day. We agreed on a price to remove all weeds, add top soil and re seed the front and backyard.He had his team come out and all work was completed in 2 days as agreed.Complete professional and great service. 100% Recommend!!!!!

Saul and his team were hired to create a 12x14 brick patio and lay mulch/plants in the front of my house. They did and outstanding job and are very hard workers. They completed the project within two days. Saul also worked within my budget and has some of the best pricing around for the quality of work that they do. Will be calling him and his team for all my landscaping and hardscaping needs.
