I am not actually sure if I have ever left a review before. However my experience today was incredibly disappointing and I felt compelled to share a warning with others.

We hired Rich Tree Services to have a tree trimmed on the side of our house. When my wife met with the rep she advised him that we were looking to have the tree trimmed back from above the roof line so it was not hanging over the house. On the day off I met with the employees when they arrived at our house. After 30 minutes I stepped outside to check on their progress. At that time I realized they trimmed everything off almost everything from the tree below the roofline. This tree served to help provide some privacy from our house to our neighbors house. At that time I advised them they needed to stop.

The job was to trim everything off that was hanging above the roof. Instead, despite being told twice, the crew trimmed off everything below the roofline. Now our tree is a trunk that with no limbs that runs up until the roofline where there are branches (still hanging over the house). The crew offered to trim the branches above the roof line. But if they proceeded with that there would be no branches left on the tree since they cut almost everything else off.

I told the crew leader how he messed up the job. He said he thought the tree looked good. It looks riduculous and pretty much ruined a good tree. I was very upset. I paid the crew and asked them to leave. Now I feel the need to share my experience with others considering using Rich Tree Services. I am pretty level headed in these matters but this company completely failed at this task. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you find another company to take care of your trees.

Update: it has been a week since the company responded to my review saying they would look into what happened. They have not provied and additional feedback on what happened. I plan on uploading photos that show the work they did. It is shocking how they executed the plan completely wrong. This could be due to the fact that the individual who showed up that I gave directions to then left before the job started to go cut trees across the street after a neighbor approached requesting a quote. It seems the company decided that since my job was already secured they did not need to provide oversight to the work.

Cesar and the rest of "crew 15" did a great job. Despite having to work around a very tight schedule because of a rainy few weeks, they got the job done. They were efficient, cooperative, friendly, and very considerate of our property. Thanks guys. Bob

I had a terrible experience with Rich Tree service. We had work done after a wind storm, where I believe we paid cash in person. Then 6 months later, they contact us out of the blue and say they found an invoice and we have to pay. Confused about why they waited to contact us after 6 months and upset believe that we already paid, I tried to contact the office. The initially got the dates of our service wrong, then the woman in the office continued to argue with me and yell at me eventually hanging up on me after I asked her to please be more polite. Charlie then started to contact me and said he was going to stop by house to “discuss” the bill and collect payment. Who does that? What kind of business threatens to come to your house to collect a bill you already paid after they sat in it for 6 months? I have a young family and can’t have oeoooe showing up at my door to confront us, so I paid the bill again! This place is a mess and I found them unprofessional. Don’t ever pay in cash and always get a receipt.

We used Rich’s Tree Service recently to have the trees trimmed on our property and a few trees removed. They were priced very reasonably and their crew was very professional. We were very happy with their service and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I received an estimate for trimming some trees very quickly, and was thrilled that it was quoted FAR BELOW two previous estimates - couldn't beat the price! The whole team seemed highly knowledgeable about trees, home owners insurance, etc. About a week later, Manuel and his crew came out and did a great job. He made sure everything was done to my satisfaction before they left (and they made a quick adjustment to one tree for me). Provided quick, efficient work in a very fast timeframe, and they cleaned up very well afterwards. I appreciated the ability to pay by check/bank or credit card on their website, but be warned the credit card fees are a bit high (I chose to pay via e-check). I highly recommend Rich Tree Service and will use them again if needed!

Charlie and his team have done a couple jobs for me now and each time they've done a great job from planning it out to execution. They were mindful to not make any unnecessary damage to my lawn and were not in a rush to get the job done in order to make sure it was done properly. Really appreciate them and their work.

People showed up exactly on time, did a great job, no damage, even cut into logs for the fireplace. Ask for crew #15 you can’t do better.

Wow! The Rich Tree Services Team is a real Dream Team! Their high bucket reached into places I didn't think anyone could get to, removing all the dead branches on our Tulip Poplars and Oaks that treatened our home. 5 plus stars for an excellent job at a reasonable price.

The crew from Rich Tree Service were great. I had numerous trees on my property, some of which were challenging to remove as they were bordering fences and other structures on the property. At the end of the day, all of the trees were removed and no damage to the property. This is the second time that i used them and they always deliver and do a great job cleaning up. Thanks again!

We have used Rich Tree Service for the last few years. They are extremely reliable and very fair priced. They have gone above and beyond with our tree service. They are my go-to company, easy to deal with and I highly recommend them.

I picked Rich Tree Service because Google reviews suggested they had good prices and did good work. After hiring them for a job I was pleased to find that the reviews were correct. If I had questions for the office they always answered the phone during business hours and were professional. The crew that arrived was friendly, worked quickly and cleaned everything up when they were done. When a tree issue rises up again I will definitely be giving them a call.

Wonderful team to work with for any tree needs. Had Rich Tree Service come and remove dead trees and prune others. They were on time, charged only what they quoted, and did a great job both on cutting the trees and clean up. Their costs were reasonable for the amount of work we had done. Rich Tree service did an amazing job with the removal of a tree that was about 130ft high. It was massive! They were professional and completed the job successfully. I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of tree service and/or removal.

If I could give Rich Tree Service 100 stars, I would! A very large tree fell in our yard, along with a gigantic root ball. I expected to wait weeks to find someone who could clear it up, but Rich Tree Service responded almost immediately. Our sales rep showed up that same day and sent the proposal after walking the site. The next morning, Tomas and his amazing Crew #9 were in our yard getting the job done. They were professional, perfectionists, and left the yard in better shape than it was before the tree fell! The cost was fair and reasonable, and everyone from the office to the trucks was efficient and friendly to deal with. This kind of service is rare these days, and I know we will be calling on them again.

I used Rich Tree Service today to take down two trees. Crew of three arrived on time. Their cleanup was great. they even accommodated my special request for stacking some wood. I would recommend them five stars without reservation!

Rich Tree Service did a great job. Estimator was professional and fair. Crew 15 performed the work expediosly and carefully. They cleaned up my yard, my neighbors property and the street like they were never there. Will definitely use them again in the fall.

Never again!! Was not happy with their service. Had three different sets of people come to my house. No one came when they said they would. Was always giving excuses as to why they were late. They cut my trees and bushes and then couldn’t remove the stumps and only offered a few dollars off of my bill. They blew dirt all over my porch and patio. Left my driveway filthy, then messed up my grass with their equipment but replanted my grass in certain areas after I complained about it. Had to hire another company to bring the stumps they couldn’t grind down. Ridiculous!!
Very unprofessional. Will NOT recommend. I don’t know about these other five and four star reviews but to each it’s own.

Recently, Rich Tree removed a large, declining maple tree on my front yard. As always, every aspect of their service was A plus. The estimate appointment was scheduled quickly, with a detailed explanation of the work and (reasonable) price. Tree removal crew was competent and professional. Extra considerations, like them getting my mail and neighbor's from the postman and the detailed street clean up were much appreciated. I'll continue to hire this company and highly recommend!

They are cutting tree branches by wires on a main thoroughfare in front of our property. Excellent job! Wonderful clean up raking and blowing. Very professional guys!

We are repeat customers with Rich Tree Service. They are very safety conscious when it comes to things like working around power lines. They clean up after themselves and even filled my wheelbarrow with some pieces for the fireplace. Their price is very reasonable for the amount of work they do.
