RupCoe Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

I must say I have been very disappointed with the service that I have received from RupCoe. They gave me a great sales pitch, but once I purchased their unit, they became very unresponsive and lacked diligence in addressing defective parts.

I bought a mini duct air system for $8,500. For two months the system has not been working. Unfortunately this has increased our heating bill tremendously, as we are relying on other forms of heat to make up for the broken unit.

Scheduling appointments with RupCoe to fix the unit has been cumbersome. On one occasion, the technician was a complete no call, no show. After calling them, RupCoe later told me that technicians don't come out when it snows. We're incredibly disappointed by this service. We were hopeful that they would mitigate the situation with a sense of urgency, but that has not been the case.

On another occasion, I received a voicemail that the part for my defective unit had arrived and that I can call to schedule an appointment. When I called, I spoke to one representative to set an appointment to fix the defective part, and she confirmed it was set for tomorrow. When we called them again to confirm they would bring the part, another representative told me that there was no record of the part arriving (even though they left me a voicemail confirming the part had arrived). Again, we are incredibly disappointed by the lack of disorganization and communication at RupCoe.

I'm not saying don't use RupCoe, but definitely count the cost before you do. Their service has been severely under par so far for us.

We had a problem with water pressure dropping and Derek took time to analyze the problem and consider possible causes, then evaluated and eliminated the possibilities until he came to a recommended solution, which he implemented. Issue was resolved, plus he gave me options for plans to pay for the service of which I chose the least expensive (an annual plumbing contract).
I was impressed with Derek’s knowledge and thoroughness, and his careful and respectful manners. I could not have been happier with the service today.

RupCoe is a great company, highly Customer centric, great service. We had a Rinnai tankless heater installed and then some issues with it about 10 months later. Rinnai and their amazing tech Howard, were extraordinarily helpful in resolving a very difficult situation given that we were going to be out of the country, getting the parts ordered from Rinnai, getting them installed, and just making the best of a bad situation. I cannot say enough good things about Howard the technician who worked on our installation or the owners of RupCoe who were willing to think outside the box. thanks Sunil
