The work had to be done on a Sunday, I give them credit for that. The young man that did the work was courteous, well mannered and left the worked on space clean and undamaged. The kitchen drain blockage was corrected. But...the cost of the repair was OUTRAGIOUS! Over $400 to clear a stopped up drain. I live in the same town as their main offices and have used them before, and still such a bill for a simple task was out of line. Be cautious calling the company to do work.

The owner Tom is a sweet talker but once the contract is signed and money paid, he becomes a
totally different person. The owner is easily available before the contract is signed and
promises to be available during installation to make sure everything goes smoothly as agreed
upon but suddenly becomes unavailable once deposit is paid.
His workers come to the job site without bringing any work order and had no idea what needs to
be done. They are completely unaware of what the contract says in terms of work to be done
as specified in the contract and agreed by the owner.
One of the techs was loud, bit aggressive tone, makes customers feel uneasy and implying they
know nothing, tells customers that what they saying is not correct without knowing the facts that
are part of the agreement, claims what is written in the contract by the RupCoe owner is really
not part of the contract and the owner should not be writing some stuff in the contract. Tech
would not check parts ordered for accuracy, trying to install wrong parts, and does incorrect
    installation.
I would not recommend Tom or his company RupCoe HVAC for any services they offer. They
are overpriced, unorganized, do not follow written agreement, have some very difficult to deal
with techs. I am surprised they are still in business after so many people I read (bit too late)
writing about their experience getting ripped off by this company.

We’re selling our home and the township code enforcement department wants us to get a professional to inspect that the furnace is in good working order. I need to get this work done ASAP so a called a few heating and cooling places but only RupCoe could come in our time frame. I was very surprised that they were the most expensive. They charged me $298.49 for 5 minutes of looking around and switching from cooling to heating. I’m not complaining, I agreed to the service before hand, but I’m just saying, shop around if you’re in my situation. The technician was great & very helpful but not his fault for the expensive service.

Used this company twice now, the first time while they overcharged me, service was at least good. Second time I called for HVAC repair, but resolved it myself with a filter change. Wanted to cancel the appointment but they showed up anyway. Promised to waive my dispatch fee next time if I had an issue come up. Called today and they refused to uphold their agreement even though I had receipts. Never calling them again.

I must say I have been very disappointed with the service that I have received from RupCoe. They gave me a great sales pitch, but once I purchased their unit, they became very unresponsive and lacked diligence in addressing defective parts.

I bought a mini duct air system for $8,500. For two months the system has not been working. Unfortunately this has increased our heating bill tremendously, as we are relying on other forms of heat to make up for the broken unit.

Scheduling appointments with RupCoe to fix the unit has been cumbersome. On one occasion, the technician was a complete no call, no show. After calling them, RupCoe later told me that technicians don't come out when it snows. We're incredibly disappointed by this service. We were hopeful that they would mitigate the situation with a sense of urgency, but that has not been the case.

On another occasion, I received a voicemail that the part for my defective unit had arrived and that I can call to schedule an appointment. When I called, I spoke to one representative to set an appointment to fix the defective part, and she confirmed it was set for tomorrow. When we called them again to confirm they would bring the part, another representative told me that there was no record of the part arriving (even though they left me a voicemail confirming the part had arrived). Again, we are incredibly disappointed by the lack of disorganization and communication at RupCoe.

I'm not saying don't use RupCoe, but definitely count the cost before you do. Their service has been severely under par so far for us.

Unreliable company who installs terrible American Standard water heaters with parts that breakdown within one year. They offer to replace the whole unit for a “discount” even though they could get their own money back for the initial unit. The “discounted price” 20% off the price we paid initially. They basically want me to pay for 2 water heaters in 2 years when my last one lasted for 14 years.

    4/13 at 135pm.

One of your drivers is tailgating others (including me) and swerving in and out of traffic in Bridgewater.

Completely unacceptable especially in a company vehicle.

**Absolutely UNREASONABLE Rate - 0 star here!! ** On 2/2/2026, we requested a RupCoe technician to come fix a leaky water connection pipe under our utility sink, and requested to replace 2 shut-off valves running along the same 0.5 inch copper water line that supplies water to the same utility sink in the laundry room. I was not home due to a business trip, and my wife had too much to handle with a new born.

RupCoe's technician came, looked underneath the sink and checked out the 2 other valves that we want to replace. He spent a total of 3 minutes inside my home. Remind you that a brand new ball valve costs $10.98 at our local Home Depot, and we already have the spared parts available, all he need to do is to solder nd re-attach the one pipe under the utility sink and replace two existing valves on a copper line. No drilling, everything is clearly exposed, not digging into any wall or doing any outside work, just need to work in the laundry room and in a heated basement where the pipes are TOTALLY exposed and ready to be worked on.

The RupCoe technician provided an estimate of $1,022 ($374 + $274 +$374) BEFORE TAX. I immediately Knew this kind of pricing is TOTALLY ridiculous. I tried to reason with the technician, he and I agreed that the entire job would take less than 15 minutes. He would not change the price. And, we immediately declined the outrageous quote and called another local plumber while he was walking out my property. The second licensed plumber showed up the same day moments later and fixed EVERYTHING mentioned above, plus replaced one additional valve as a "precaution", the total came to $236 in change. I rounded it up and paid the second licensed plumber $260. So, from over $1,000 + quoted, to $260 including tips. I will let you be the judge on who is practicing predatory pricing here. Personally, I will never call them again!

**UPDATE** On 2/4/26, they ended up charged me the $63.92 "dispatch fee". Out of principle, I called them back, got transfer to "Jim" the manager, he was chewing gum while speaking with me, I tried to explain to Jim at RupCoe that his technician provided an reasonable quote... Jim said "I am going to have Ebony to call you tomorrow morning...", look, by all fairness, I did call at 3:26pm, perhaps that maybe around closing time, I accepted his response and kept it very cordial with Jim and the young female dispatcher who answered the call earlier.

Ebony called me back on 2/5/26 in the morning, I explained the whole experience and the crazy quote again to her, she replied "that is the pricing.... and no, we don't refund our dispatch fee".

Judging by my experience, I have reason to believe RupCoe is running a dishonest operation, their people showed up and provided you with an unreasonablely high estimate.... (Option #1) if you decline, they collect the dispatch fee; or (Option #2) if you accept their outrageously high quote, you may suffer an even greater financial ripped off.
