I was very pleased with them. They were professional, quick, and reasonably priced after the quotes I received from other companies. I have a small child in the home and I’m also by the beach in Brick and they sent out their techs ASAP to get my unit up and running. They also did a follow up call to make sure the unit was working as it should which was such a nice detail. Will recommend in the future!!

Silverback Heating & Air Conditioning did not install the HVAC system we agreed on, used unlicensed workers, and their company license expired in 2019 (displayed on their website).

They left us with a poor drainage system, obstructs our stove while on, didn’t change filters, damaged our home, and left a mess. Multiple safety issues were confirmed by inspectors, and we had to stop using the units.

Despite a verbal refund agreement (documented by police), they refused to pay and tried to charge a restocking fee we never agreed to. They also refused to remove the units or restore our home.

We’ve filed state complaints and are preparing legal action. Stay far away from this company!

Expired License, poor workman ship, these are NOT people you can trust.

electrical inspector we brought said these people don’t know what they are doing. Inside wires used outside, drainage system is U shaped, no downward slope (pic attached). Placed unit in kitchen facing stove (can’t cook while it’s on now), simply these are amateurs. Don’t trust them with your homes or businesses!

Tried to get my money back, called cops, he promised he would bring check to refund me. Instead took the money and has not made any attempt to pickup his units that we don’t want.

I can’t say enough about silver back. They came right away when my 89-year-old friend had no heat. The technician was Cesar. He was wonderful. He worked with us. He found the problem out. He Took the time took the time to stay and made sure that it was working before leaving and didn’t rip us off He worked on the old part to see if that would work before replacing it, which I thought was wonderful. I will definitely use them again and recommend them.

I use Ceasar for all my PTAC units. Its a family owned business and i like that I get him on the phone or get a call back within an hour.

They came to my unit, told me my ac was fine even though it stops making cold air regularly and said to call back if it kept happening. That was 3 weeks ago. I’ve left multiple voicemails and have gotten no response.

Installed a brand new compressor last year from this company. This year the air conditioner has not worked . Called numerous times and spoke with the owner but still waiting for someone to fix the ac . Calls are ignored and there is no intent to fix this ac by this company. I shall be seeking legal assistance against this company. DO NOT use this company. Absolute ripoff and would not honor warranty issues . Horrible company to work with for Ac repair and installation

horrible cleaning serivice for ACs, within 15 minutes he claimed to clean 3 Acs. Got distracted with my 2 year old for a minute and told me he cleaned the Ac in the living room when in fact he didnt touch it. He than remembered that he forgot that one? when asked about the filters he said oh you want me to change that? I checked to see if he changed the filter and simply put it on top of the old one?? that usualy comes with a cleaning of $100 per each AC. complete scamers do not use this company. Also left the outside completley dirty.

Amazing overall customer service and great experience. I Called in with a multitude of issues and a horrible experience from my last HVAC company. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did they resolve my HVAC issue that the previous company left behind, they also were super clean and neat in the process. Highly recommend.

I had problems finding reliable HVAC service before finding them. Now I've been using them for several years and would highly recommend. Julio is honest and professional. The technicians are punctual and efficient.

Promised units would be repaired in 5 days, waited for 3 weeks. For one of the units they repaired something that didn’t fix the issue yet I still had to pay while they are fixing the compressor, which is the actual broken part. Doesn’t return calls, hangs up, promises to show up and doesn’t or does completely unannounced and DOES NOT HONOR WARRANTY. I did not have proof the units were fixed 3 years earlier (prior owner had the work done), and they pretended it wasn’t them, even though my handyman confirmed. I used them because they were recommended by my building’s super and I know they have done work in our building (a 30+ story condominium). I am appalled my building continues to use them. I will be writing to the board to make sure he never again gets work here. Plus - got the warranty from previous owner, let’s see if he returns the $500 paid for a compressor. Stay tuned.

In 2019, we used Cesar's to repair our broken AC unit. The guys from Cesars told us we needed to replace the compressor, which cost us $800. A year later, in 2020, the unit stopped working. We had probably run it for less than 100 hours since that expensive maintenance.

We couldn't get a technician into our apartment until now, due to COVID. The technician we brought in (not from Cesars) told us the unit was too old, that any significant maintenance would be a waste of money because new compressors would be stressed and broken by the rest of the old unit. Of course Cesars didn't tell us this when they told us we needed to spend $800 in 2019, because they would've missed out on business for giving us good advice.

Glad we got someone honest in here this time.

Cesar and his team professionally installed our new HVAC units. They were on time, worked quickly and were careful and clean in the Apt. Cesar and his installers were responsive to any questions and available for any follow up needs. I highly recommend them your home heating and cooling needs!

Extremely negative experience with Cesar’s Heating & Cooling. We have paid them thousands of dollars between repairs and purchasing a new unit over the past 3-4 years, and we do not have a working AC unit. He also ghosted us multiple times when we texted or called to question why these issues were happening. Unfortunately I can’t recommend working with this company.

I have used this company twice in the past 5 years . Most recently they replaced 2 old ac units for me. Both times I received a fair price, great service and communication. I highly recommend them.

We had a superb experience with Cesar's crew. They came when they said they would for the assessment, and again for the installations. The team was very efficient installing the units, they were professional, and made sure we completely understood how the new units worked (not that they're complex, but still, they took the time to be sure). The pricing was fair for the units and the labor. All this, at the peak of a NY heatwave, so I'm sure they had lots of work, but their punctuality, responsiveness and professionalism did suffer.
