This was the most pain free repair/installation that I’ve ever experienced. From start to finish, it was a very professional job and very well done. We had a few back and forth emails figuring out what our best option was and All City patiently redid our estimates a few times before we could settle on a version that worked for us. This was all done very efficiently via email. The technicians (Nick, Ralph, Steve and Stanley) were exceptional. They were very pleasant and easy to work with. They were polite, knowledgeable, efficient and explained everything very well. They left the house as clean as it was when they walked in. I would highly recommend All City Electrical without hesitation.

Edgar and Mason were amazing on the Tesla Wall Charger installation. Super friendly, professional, explained the process plan, helped to setup the charger's software, and left the place clean and neat. Start to finish, the whole job was smooth team work. Shoutout to Joe and Mike who helped with the initial visit and load calculation. Price was very reasonable and especially compared to another quote I initially got which they were pushingn to update service to 200amp. Well I didn't even have to do that. Now I feel better knowing where to reach out for any future electrical issues. Thank you!

Very happy with the service from Mike and the entire team at All City. They have done a number of projects for me in multiple homes. This has ranged from installing interior lighting; generator install and maintenance; as well as exterior lighting.

All of the technicians are very professional and do a good job of explaining the issues and if there is anything I need to be on the lookout for.

They are also very responsive. Most recently, I had an issue where one of the breakers kept tripping. I had contacted them via email over the weekend and by Monday afternoon, the crew had diagnosed and fixed the issue.

For any electrical projects, big or small, would definitely recommend All City.

All City Electric came out to my new home in Union, NJ and installed new driveway and walkway entrance and shrubbery spotlights that shine onto the house. I am so pleased with the exceptional quality of the work and the two gentlemen who showed up to do the work (they were both very nice and professional and great to talk to). This company clearly has a standard of excellence in its service and delivery, and it was evident today and I will surely use this company for any and all future exterior lighting needs. I hired All City Electrical, I wasn’t disappointed. Joe stopped by promptly to give me an estimate. Raphael and Andrew arrived right on time on my appt date and did the work requested. They answered all my questions without hesitation and worked neatly and cleaned up the work area when finished. Job complete and I am 100% satisfied with their work. I would definitely hire All City again, highly recommend them.

In 2023, All City did a very good job on installing a wall charger for our EV. The morning of our city inspection, they came and removed the panel from the breaker box and double checked to make sure everything would pass muster. After the inspection, I noticed that the panel hasp not been put back on the box.. I called Joe and he said he would come by to finish up and put the cover back on. AFTER he finished and left, I was hit with an additional $170 service call charge. When I called the office, they told me that this was standard policy. I said no one had informed me of that and if I had known, I never would’ve had him come by. They offered a $40 discount which I laughed off. And they said they would waive it.

Two years later, I called to have them out to do some electrical upgrades. They told me I had an outstanding balance of $130 From the service charge. I recounted the story and she said she would have to speak to her supervisor. I told them if they couldn’t waive this service call, I would no longer use their services. 20 minutes later, they emailed me the invoice for $130.

I own a house in South Orange and a three family rental property, both of which need electrical upgrades. But I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Way to play the short game, All City Electric. Hope that $130 is worth it.

We hired All City to install an EV charger on the side of our house. They came, did the work and when the permit was filed, it was denied in part because the charger was too low on the side of our house for our town's flood zone zoning laws. We let All City know, Michael talked to the town electric inspector and then told us that the charger is fine where it is and to schedule the inspection. We contacted the inspector, he came out to our house to look at the charger and told us it's too low and won't pass inspection. We told All-City. Michael accused us of "stirring the pot" and then wanted to initially charge another $475 to come back out to move the charger up saying we should have warned him about our town's specific zoning laws. We explained that we thought they were the professional experts in charge of following local laws, not us. He lowered the price but still wanted $225. He also seemed to get mad that we didn't appreciate all the behind-the-scenes administrative work he was doing but never called us to discuss the situation at any point so how would we have known?

So, I highly recommend using another electrician if you don't want to find yourself with non-code-compliant work done or be gaslit as the reason it was done. Trying to work with them actually drove us bonkers; preserve your mental health and hire someone else.

EDIT (response to Michael's response): the fine from the town was in part because we had a (2 month) delay in getting the property survey to the town and in part because the charger was too low to the ground. The charger failed inspection because it was too low to the ground. This is the problem Michael continues to fail to grasp. The 2 other electricians I consulted and the town inspector all said they would have moved it the 6 inches without asking for further payment had they'd been the original ones who installed it. I didn't answer All City's one followup call and one followup email because I refused to spend any more time or energy on them. And I will not be checking this review again because it's not worth it. You should spend your time improving your own business practices not fighting on Google reviews.

These guys were amazing… AMAZING! Super clean and efficient job. They actually uncovered an electrical issue from a previous owner that I was unaware of and they fixed it without batting an eye (or charging me). I highly recommend this team any day.

I had an EV charger installed in my garage by All City Electrical . I can’t say enough good things about them. They were here from 9am until 2:30 pm, a much bigger job than I thought it would be . The communication was great before during and after the installation. I would highly recommend

Edgar and Stanley did an excellent job. They installed 7 4" recessed cans in my kitchen and 2 4" recessed cans over my shower. They also installed power outlets under my sink for a garbage disposal and hot water heater. They were the only electricians I spoke to that didn't try to make me put canless lights in and we're very careful not to damage the accent wall I had. They were very helpful in suggesting where the lights should go and the lights really changed the entire look of my apartment. They did have to cut some holes in the wall but that's expected with electric work and they rough patched them so all I had to to was sand it down smooth, took no time at all. They also cleaned up after themselves and there was no dust left other than on the paper I put out for my other jobs. Some electricians came in a little lower but they seemed less professional; All City Electric is definitely worth it and I will be calling them soon for some additional work.

The team at All City never disappoints! I received a high level of excellence from the initial contact with Michael. Michael has a dynamic personality and he is professional and has excellent communication skills. The day of the scheduled work to install the bathroom exhaust fan, Edgar and Stanley arrived up on time. They kept me in the loop about the progress of the job. They did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves. Both were beyond professional, courteous and respectful of my family and our home. They performed high quality work. Their prices are extremely fair. Thank you All City for once again delivering excellent work for my family.

Stanley Romanoskie and the rest of his crew were fantastic. I was truly enjoyable to see a group of professionals work so well together. They were methodical and confident as they completed my Electrical Panel upgrade and EV Charger install. After the install they answered all my questions and cleaned up the workspace.
