After I horrible experience with my last landscaper which did a terrible job and left my property in extremely bad shape, I reached out to J&A landscape and snow services. They are great and extremely professional. After contacting them, they came to my property, gave me an estimate. After hiring them, they came the very next day to clean up the other landscapers mess. I’m very happy with them, their rate is very affordable and their professionalism/reliability is outstanding. I highly recommend their services.

Adam and his guys are outstanding! We were preparing to list our house on a short timeline and needed a lot of help with the yard. Adam was super responsive, provided a competitive quote, and got to work ASAP. I can't say enough great things around the work they did - the cleanup was thorough and the mulching has transformed our yard. Thank you J&A!!!

Adam is fantastic. He came over and listened to us talk about all the things we wanted done to our property and did not blink an eye saying he would deliver as promised. His team is here every week and do a great job. If for whatever reason you have an issue or just want to chat about something (want the lawn cut shorter, more frequently, etc.) Adam always answers his phone and is helpful, patient, and gets whatever you need done.

He is a straight shooter which I appreciate. He even recommended some things I can do myself to our lawn (and they worked!) when he could have charged for a service. We used his team to clean up a large, neglected area of our backyard that was full of dirt and weeds. Now it’s beautiful and well-manicured.

Adam is a stand up guy and J&A is a well-run business. Give him a ring if need service, there’s no one better.

Today I was doing some shopping in the Clifton Target Store . And as I was putting my groceries and items into the trunk of my car , my back was facing the parking lot , I feel a lot of hard objects hitting my body and my car , with the sound of hard rocks . I immediately turn around and see this Company truck ejecting salt all over the parking lot while there’s customers with children in the lot walking and putting things in their cars . This man did not use caution at all . He recklessly kept going around the lot . I walked up to his truck to let him know and he stopped ejecting the salt while he listened, but said nothing in response. He hit a button by his steering wheel , stuck his middle finger up at me and drove off ! This is unacceptable and I will definitely be following up with the town and county ! I called the J&A company numerous times only to get a voicemail which I left a message. I expect this issue to be resolved because not only could have my car windows been damaged , someone could have been hurt . Those salt pellets are like Little Rock’s .. UNACCEPTABLE

They came to do the driveway, but never did the handicap spot. The guy’s name was Jake and he told me to do it myself very unprofessional.

I’ve been using J&A for a few years now and I highly recommend their services. When I decided to redo my backyard, I asked them to give me a quote and they were very fair. They ripped out a bunch of concrete curbing and some brick paths, several decrepit shrubs, and then added topsoil and graded it perfectly. They placed some blue stone I had salvaged and laid sod, planting several trees along the border. I was most impressed with Danny and his crew — they were very conscientious of the property lines, the rickety existing fence, and my neighbors. I’d recommend J&A to anyone in the SoMa area looking for a landscaper. Adam and Joe have been great to work with. Thanks guys!

I needed an urgent makeover of my backyard to make it ready for a party. I called J&A. Marvin immediately returned my call and setup a time within a day to come and see the project. He explained everything very well and send his crew to do the job within two days. They made landscaping walkways, two garden beds and mulch all around the trees in front of my patio. The transformation was amazing! They're a bit pricy but did a fantastic job. I was very happy with their work.

This company sucks. They are hired to remove snow at a complex in edison nj and they failed to do that simple task leaving many elderly people to slip and fall if they had to venture out all weekend for any purpose. Many other residents were also stranded by this company's inability to comply and fulfill the contract they signed to remove snow and ice. Maybe the owner should have classes and videos for the employees on how to use a shovel and rock salt.

In response to this company's response...1st. We the people who live in this development are not responsible to call your office to address these concerns.
2. You and your company agreed to a bid and entered into a contract to do a job. Your failure to rightfully fulfill is not our responsibility to discuss with your office.
3. If you find this review to be negative, then that shall constitute your admission of guilt of wrong doing. Furthermore, this review only speaks rhe truth about the actions lacking thereof your employees.
4. Instead of focusing on sending fruitless replies, I would strongly recommend you divert your attention to N.J.S.A. 39:4-207.9

We have used J&A Landscaping for years to do weekly/seasonal yard maintenance. Most recently used them to redo our front yard and put in a stone path connecting all the backyards so the neighborhood kids can run like the old days! Adam and his team were so great and so patient when it came time to choosing plantings. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We consistently recommend them to friends, neighbors and clients!

Great florist in New Jersey We love the fresh flowers and fast flower delivery!

I love global cut flowers (that’s when a bouquet is full enough that it can be a shaped to resemble a dome). My sweetheart got me an arrangement for Valentine’s Day. Left: florist’s website photo of the bouquet he ordered. Right: the bouquet that was delivered. A loose florist card was stapled to the cellophane. No envelope, no identifying info. I tracked down the shop name and returned them this morning. The first thing Richard (presumably the owner) said to me was, I’ve been in business for 25 years….I have a feeling the rest of the sentence was going to be and I’ve never received a complaint (see the other review here) but I interrupted to tell him how little that mattered if the product being put out looked like mine. He said I can refund your boyfriend’s money or you can have a replacement. I said I’d like a replacement provided the flowers are…he said I need the original flowers back. Gladly, I went to my car and brought in the original. He pointed to a beautiful bouquet sitting on the floor and said that one’s $120. I said not that it should make a difference but my dude spent 3 figures for the bouquet in the picture on YOUR website. He said do you want a different vase? I did. I picked it out and he asked his employee, Carlos to reassemble a new arrangement. That’s a picture of it on the bottom. This isn’t a florist. It’s a fruit stand where they sell flowers.

All that to say if I’d been running a reputation based floral business for over 25 years, the one day I would want to guarantee the quality of my work would be February 14th. But that’s just me.

Absolutely horrible experience. Flowers were totally crushed in the delivery and the order was missing the stuffed animal I ordered.

The store has no voicemail and the number doesn't even ring.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The best florist in Union New Jersey. This florist has so much to offer and has great flower delivery options for delivery 7 days a week!

These guys are working in my neighborhood. When they cleaned up at the end of the day last week (Oct. 1) they made a mess. There was a lot stone dust in the street from the large patio installation they were doing. Instead of sweeping it up and shoveling it into their bins, the guys blew it airborne with the blower on high making a huge cloud of dust. He just kept blowing until the dust went all over everyone's house, car, potted plants, etc. He never swept anything. Thanks for nothing. When I said something to him his response was, "What do you want me to do". How about clean up in a professional manner like you know what you're doing? Not recommended.
