Exceptional service! Anthony was scheduled and arrived the same day. Heater stopped running overnight.
Anthony was courteous, professional and informative. He diagnosed/recognized the problem and resolved it in short order explaining the what and why along the way.
Definately would recommend Anthony and Bovio for any HVAC problems.

There was no charge for the service as the service was covered under new unit warranty.

Sam came to replace my hot water heater. This girl is amazing! Sam is professional nd very knowledgeable. She worked in a cold garage for over 5 hours with a smile. Can’t say enough about this girl!!

I had some water at the base of my gas furnace. After ensuring that I had heat, a tech was scheduled for the following day. I have a gold maintenance plan, and was told the visit fee would be discounted to $57 and the remainder of the fee would be determined by what was done. No hourly rate was specified. The water puddle dried up before the tech arrived. The tech was very thorough, based on what he described to me had been done, but found no issue. He gave me some guidance on what to do before calling if water appeared again. The tech was here less than 45 minutes; the total bill was $251, so I was charged $194 for less than 45 minutes. That comes to about $260/hour! I was astonished, but paid it. I'm certainly rethinking renewing that maintenance plan I have and will be researching other companies before it expires!

Appreciate the time spent but felt as if technician was lost at times and spent about an hour and a half to tell me it was the thermostat when that ended up not being the issue with my heat pump. Had someone else come out the next day and the issue was a heat pump sensor that was failing and had to be replaced telling the system to switch into defrost. It was not the thermostat. Wish I could get a refund but it is what it is at this point. I feel it’s important to let people know it was not diagnosed properly after that much time.

Second time relying on Bovio Rubino and second excellent experience. They were able to schedule same day service, and were very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and expedient with diagnosis and repairs. Sam did an excellent job!

Buyer beware.
Take a look at my review history. I’m not someone who regularly slams businesses, but this experience absolutely deserves the criticism.

I needed three valves replaced in my bathroom. I already had one quote but decided to call Bovio because they could come out the same day between 2–5 PM. I told them it wasn’t an emergency, and they informed me there would be a $77 service fee, which I agreed to.

About an hour later, Steve arrived. I greeted him and showed him the bathroom. He spent maybe two minutes looking at the plumbing (all of which was exposed and in an open area), then said he’d step out to check his truck for parts and write up a quote. A few minutes later he returned and said he had one part on hand but would need to get two others. He quoted around $850, then offered to “do it for $800” when I asked if he could do better.

For comparison, I already had a quote for $650 from a plumber I’ve worked with for years. The only reason I shopped around was to see if I could get a similar price and faster turnaround. I see Bovio trucks all the time and figured it was a safe bet. I politely thanked Steve for his time and said I’d pass. That’s when I was told I owed ~$175 for the visit.

When my wife called their corporate office, they were completely unhelpful. They claimed the $77 covered the “visit fee” and the rest was for “time on site," something never disclosed over the phone. For context, Steve was here for less than 10 minutes and did absolutely no work , no repair, no parts installed, nothing. He looked at the plumbing, went to his truck, and wrote a quote.

Bottom line: $175 for a 10-minute visit with no work performed. That’s deceptive at best and feels fraudulent. I’ll likely be contacting the BBB given that the extra $100 fee was never disclosed. The rep even reminded my wife that they record their calls — by all means, go back and listen.

Completely unreasonable and misleading business practices. Save yourself the frustration and call someone else.

End of day, its really a shame. I was fine with the $77, I was even fine with them over pricing the bid, the added fee for nothing is what I find unacceptable. If you have a black list of contractors - put them on it.

I had a great experience with the plumber who came out. Sam was professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable about what she was doing. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made sure the job was done right. It’s always refreshing to work with someone who takes pride in their work and treats customers with respect. I really appreciate the quality service and would definitely recommend her to others.

Very nice and proficient installation. Tankless water heater great! Smaller jobs done by different serviceman and cleaned up much better than first, and saved us money too! Little suspect about yet another person who did original estimate/description of work needed, because both servicemen suggested things done differently and seemed more knowledgeable. Overall excellent work and happy to have plumbing updated and working properly!

Andy arrived on time and within the provided time window. He was nice, considerate, knowledgeable and respectful. He used foot coverings to protect the inside of our house and answered all of my questions. The maintenance performed on our heater was done in a timely fashion and he kept me informed of everything that was done. I trust his work and the Bovio Rubino company to keep our heater running smoothly every year.

First of all, I just wanna say I was very impressed with Andy and the amount of knowledge that he shared with me, I learned so much that I never knew he was very, very polite very professional, and extremely thorough, he took pictures of everything documented everything, and he explained everything that he had done in normal terms that I can understand. He took the time to explain everything to me, and I really appreciate that, I felt very valued as a customer. I was very impressed with his knowledge, He seemed to really love his work, love his company and customers !!

I had a follow up service call with Damien, just on some questions, and again another very knowledgeable person, I just was overwhelmed by how much he knew, it’s just amazing the amount of stuff behind the scenes that we don’t realize it goes into the systems and Damien explained everything also very very easy to understand. He went over several different things and made me understand things, and he was very, very nice and very appreciative of the business, and was proud to work for Bovio, which I could understand anybody being proud to wanna work there because it’s a good company, but the employees expressed this. You could see that they love where they work, and that they value a customer service relationship with their customers, they’re very polite and thorough, and you could count on that with everybody I’ve never had any issues with any Bovio person that came out here. They’ve always been top-notch top of the line, it’s a company that I trust.

Chris, was a very professional technician. He is very knowledgeable about his trade. He installed a new water heater which is more than just swapping the tanks out. Now days they are direct vented with a fan for pushing the air outside. Which means he did plumbing, electrical and gas line work! Highly recommend him!

I have been using Bovio for over 30 years and they never disappoint. I came home to no heat later in the night. I called the 24 hour emergency line and was set up for service the very next day from 8-10am. Josh arrived early in that window and was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He explained everything. The part originally was going to take two days but they searched and found it and installed it that afternoon. I was back to having heat that day. So happy because the temps were in the 30’s! I highly recommend!! Thank you Bovio!

My heater went down overnight on one of the coldest mornings of the year. Bovio/Rubino arrived 45 minutes before the 4-hour window I was given originally which was really amazing. James was the service tech and he was perfect. Very professional and got us up and running in no time. Emergency service call and part replacement for under $300. Absolutely fantastic and my new go-to service company!

Have used them for many years and they’re awesome! Super thanks to James who came out today when we woke up to no heat. He was super nice and got our heat back on quickly. Would highly recommend this company!

Outstanding experience with Bovio Rubino from the initial contact, through the sales presentation, paperwork/rebates processing, and installation! Everything went according to the time plan, super smoothly and professionally. All questions were answered and we had zero concerns about replacing our heating system and putting our trust in this company for the next ten years. They came highly recommended to us by a friend and we could see why! Our salesman, Cliff and our installers Peter & Zach were all top notch. First I want to say I have had them twice now. The first time I had a new hot water tank installed. Chris Kraft was very knowledgeable, kind and did a fantastic job. He did an amazing job. This time I needed new piping put under my kitchen sink. This time I had Sam Kunz. She was fantastic too. Sam was very kind, knowledgeable and did a great job. I would definitely recommend Bovio.

Bovio has saved us in multiple plumbing and heating emergencies in the last 5 years. They have consistently had technicians available with quick response times and have been the most affordable quotes for work we have had done. Everyone that has come out has been very friendly, considerate while working in the house, and willing to explain the issues and possible outcomes and share their knowledge. Sam came out in the ice last night to help us with a leaking pipe, and we couldnt have asked for better service!

Editing to add that Bovio provides plumbing services and has on call and night plumbers that can help with leaks, valve replacement, installations, etc. They dont always come up in plumbing results but they do have plumbing as well as hvac

I chose Bovio Rubino after my “local guy” wouldn’t answer his phone. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Absolutely professional all the way around, and the technicians are second to none. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Never a complaint; highly recommend… I’d give more than five stars if I could.

Update 02/12/2026: just had Bovio Rubino install a tankless water heater. Professional, respectful, knowledgeable technicians; top notch all the way!

Chris was light at the end of a dark day! Due to the major snowstorm, my water pipes froze and on Super Bowl Sunday of all days! Chris had an extremely long day as imagined (my service arrival window was 10pm-12am), but he still managed to show up with expertise, empathy and kindness. He even taught me how to turn off the main water valve over the phone via pictures until he could arrive. Due to his service, I signed up for Bovino’s membership and immediately canceled my American Water Resources protection package (which would have only come into play had my pipes burst…a little too late to consider protection!). Thank you, Chris for top notch service!

The only thing that kept me from using your service is that I had the replacement part which your company would not consider using. Even though I was very willing to accept full responsibility for the part. I understand the liability aspect that you would have taken on.
