This crew was excellent. They did everything in four hours. Removed giant dead trees and cut back all the healthy trees. They took off a few low branches that were not on the contract. Maria in the office was pleasant to deal with and texting services made things so much easier. I had three estimates and met with four tree experts. I liked this company the best. They also have fair pricing.

We had Tico Tree Service remove a tree blown over in a storm. They also removed two other trees that also unfortunately had to be removed.
They were prompt and professional. They did an amazing job in removing these large trees and stumps.
In addition to being fast and courteous they left the area involved immaculately clean.

I stumbled upon Ticos Tree Experts as I was looking for an arborist to trim some mulberry trees and remove a dying red cedar in my yard. Alfredo came onsite to assess the situation, providing excellent guidance and how to proceed with all the trees we had. Pricing was reasonable and we're in the range we expected to pay, even less expensive than some other competitors.

Once we agreed on our next steps, Alfredo's crew came onsite and did an exceptional job, including tree pruning and stump grinding. They were punctual, professional, and respectful, cleaning up our yard as if they were never there.

A special shout out to Maria who was able to coordinate everything, from scheduling the crew to do the work, to providing the appropriate information for our town permit, and following up during the work being done to make sure everything was going smoothly.

All in all, I would use Ticos Tree expert services again and would recommend anyone to use them if they need fast and professional arborist services.

Awesome job by the crew today! They really went above and beyond to accommodate us, were quick, professional and did a great clean up job after. Their office staff were also very attentive and communicated really well from the initial consultation to booking the job in. I’ll be using them again if needed.

We had a dead ash at the back of our property and a large oak that was damaging our garage. The oak was healthy, so we’re getting the wood milled for slabs etc. and the crew today were able to cut the logs as requested and leave them exactly where we asked. Really appreciate their work, and I’m sure you would too.

Good price, and was very careful to not damage my garden and garden lights. A crew of 5 arrived early, done by noon. Cleaned up yard… just so very happy with their work.

I spent many months getting estimates to remove 4 trees (filled with lantern flies) along the edge of my backyard property and I was really anxious about this project because there was no way to bring a truck through my yard, the trees were covered in thick ivy, which was entangled in the side neighbor's fence, and overall, the space was very tight.

I called at least 4 companies for estimates. Last April, when Alfredo came by to check out the project, I was immediately impressed by his tree knowledge. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work and difficulty of the job, which would involve climbing to remove the trees, even if they able to use the truck..

On the day of the work, the work supervisor and I went back in the yard to see if there was any option of bringing the truck in. Despite trying, I hadn't been able to contact the neighbor behind my house to ask if we could bring the truck through their property. To my surprise, we noticed the neighbors outside working in their garden. Without my having to ask, the supervisor said he'd come with me to ask and explain what they would do to ensure the grass would not be damaged. The neighbors were happy to help and simply asked if the workers could remove some overhanging branches on the other side of their property, which the supervisor readily agreed to.

The supervisor was so kind and patient and completely calm. He never got frustrated or impatient. He took it all in stride, as simply part of the job. This project, which I had dreaded for so long, ended up being a beautiful, cooperative, zero stress day. I think anyone who's ever had work done around their house can rarely report such a good experience, but in the case, I was so struck by how smoothly everything went - it was such an exceptional experience! I owe it all to not only the professionalism of this entire outfit, but the real human kindness shown throughout the process.

Alfredo was great at the estimate pointing out the technical side of tree care and maintenance. I felt the price was fair and the quality of the work was excellent. The crew was on time, we were both out and they got to work unprompted or supervised and did a great quick job. We had a 30 ft tree removed along with a smaller tree and some trimming. The guys cleaned up great afterwards as well

Alfredo and Tico’s removed and pruned several of our trees in August and were great. Everyone throughout the entire process was punctual, professional, and friendly. The recommendation we got from Alfredo was reasonable (some companies simply advised us to cut everything down instead of saving the healthy trees) and Tico’s was one of the more affordable options. Their office associates were also very helpful in providing the right information to obtain a permit. We will definitely be going back to Tico’s for any future tree needs!

Tico's came through in a clutch, removing a tree with dead roots that was leaning over my house. They were quick, thorough and AFFORDABLE. The did a great job, taking the tree down in excellent time and removing all traces of the tree. My house is surrounded by trees, so they will be my go-to service every time.

Ticos Tree Service was very professional and very responsive. The office administrator, Maria is the best! Maria returned calls immediately and called to confirm details. She arranged for the owner, Alfredo to visit my property several times. Again, the owner, Alfredo was very professional and understood what I wanted.

I had such a great experience with Tico's. Was a very tricky situation with a dead tree leaning against a favorite live tree, with a fence, two other trees and a garage roof in the line of fire. Renaldo and his crew did a tremendous job removing the tree without disrupting anything - and super quick from the initial visit by Alfredo, were here early the next day, and Maria in the office was very proactive and professionel. Highly recommend!!

This was the second time we used Ticos for tree removal and trimming. My experience with Ticos Tree Service crew was great. They are very professional and go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right, safely, and they clean up everything when they are done. Maria from the office was great as well. We had a dead pine right up against a fence that we needed removed, the team at Tico's gave us a very fair estimate and got us on the schedule quickly. During the removal they were extremely careful not to damage the fence or leave a mess in our yard our neighbor's yard.

Ticos did a great job removing a huge tree that fell from our property into our neighbors yard. It was a bit tricky as the tree was across their fence and dog house. The crew took a lot of care getting it out. Communication with the office was also great, all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Tico’s are great! They’ve helped me twice now, with removal and trimming of some large trees that had sadly died.

It’s always a pleasure to speak with Maria regarding scheduling and payment. And Alfredo is very helpful and knowledgeable and works with you to come up with a plan that will be cost effective and appropriate.

The team when they arrived worked tirelessly and went above and beyond to do a perfect job, tackling the dangerous work quickly and efficiently despite the intense heat they all were having to work in.

Alfredo and his team are highly skilled professionals who were responsive to our concerns about the large oak tree in our backyard. Alfredo made himself available to come out quickly to assess it and provided a timely, competitive estimate. The office staff were great about scheduling and related follow-up. The on-site crew expertly navigated our long, narrow driveway with the truck/equipment and left our yard nicer than they found it. Overall, Tico's exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them!

Tico’s Tree Service is the BEST! From Maria in the office, to Armando and Henry, the owner Alfredo, to all of the crew - the customer service is top notch. They took down an 100 year old dying tree - leaving no trace. They were so careful and efficient. And, they were affordable and pleasant. They were By-the-book on time service. I appreciate their respect for Maplewood’s tree removal permitting process. They were supportive of our mourning process over the loss of a beautiful (but becoming very dangerous) old friend tree.
